Leil was walking down the halls of her college when she bumped into her crush since middle school. Heyson, Heyson was his name. He asked if she was alright, and Leil just stayed silent admiring him. She then panicked and said, "Heyson cream…" Heyson blushed and said "uh, excuse me. I'll be going to class. Cya Leil!" He ran off to his class. At lunch, she talked all about her crush obviously. Telling her friends all about her crush for him. They teased her with dirty jokes. Which just made her very flustered. JANUARY 15TH 2024

The next year, they were dating. They had the same dorm too. One night, after Heyson came out of the shower in just sweatpants and socks, it had Leil blushing like crazy. Leil was stuttering a lot once they were talking to each other. Suddenly, Heyson stopped talking and started to stare at Leil straight in the eyes. Leil took a big gulp and felt a sharp feeling strike her body. She was getting horny. Heyson was already horny and ready to do "it" with her.

NCIS: LOS ANGELES:  “Angry Karen” – Act Five

Robert Overton is the runner.  He also is a Cryton Avionics employee.  One of the cosplay buddies of Keilani and Donnie is a star in “human directionals” – signs spinning.  Nell found Logan Smith dressed as a lizard.

Callen and Sam approach him.  Callen tries to be a cosplay guy but the Logan tries to run.  Into Sam.  Sam pulls his tail but Logan runs free until he’s hit by a car.  

A banged-up Logan Smith is in the boat shed.  He knows what Callen and Sam are looking for – working on a computer, Logan accesses schematics of a top-secret prototype “The Angry Karen” – a ship busting missile.  

SecNav has never heard of the bomb, Nell tells Callen and Sam.  Cryton may have sold the Navy a missile they couldn’t build.  Nell asks why didn’t Leiliani talk to her supervisor about this.   Callen and Sam are going to ask him just about that.

Commander James is on the run.  Kensi and Fatima see him in the parking lot.  He carjacks a security vehicle.  Kensi and Fatima are chasing him – the security vehicle can’t be tracked.  

Kensi cuts him off.  As he gets out of his car, he has a big gun and starts firing.  Callen and Sam drive up.  Callen gets out of the car while Sam starts doing donuts.  The smoke gives Kensi and Fatima cover.  Callen comes up behind James and arrests him.

Harris will be fine.

Kensi comes to the bar.  He’s sent the staff home – the bar is empty.  Kensi promises him the bar crowd will pick-up.  Kensi recaps her day.

Nell is sitting at Hetty’s desk when Callen arrives.  He is happy to see her at the desk.  James was working with Cryton Avionics.  Nell tells Callen, she’s not Hetty, she’s not cut out for this.  Callen agrees.  Nell is a bit offended until Callen notes Hetty would have offered him a drink by now.  Fading to black, Nell asks “where is the Pappy?”

By the way – there is a great writer who has a book out about Pappy Van Winkle – “Pappyland:  A Story of Family, Fine Bourbon and the Things that Last” by Wright Thompson.

January 18th, The Night of the Centennial Celebration

“C’mon kid, I think it’s starting.” his father placed his hand on his shoulder to lead him towards to the seats. “We can finish this conversation later. You know, I’m really proud of you.”

“Dad,” he chuckled softly as he looked up to him. 

“No, I’m serious. You’ve really grown up this year and now you’re looking to make this town a better place by recruiting humans to help hunt--sorry, protect the town. It says a lot.”

“Thanks, Dad.” He looked up to him with a soft grin on his lips as he walked with him to a pair of open seats, reaching for his phone to text Leiliani where they were sitting hoping they could sit together or make it easier to find her after. 

Or those had been some of the last thoughts to linger in his mind before the speech, some of the only thoughts that still lingered right before the bomb went off.  Next to his father, listening to promises he wasn’t sure he could believe, when it detonated. The room filling with the silencing boom and the light that followed. Garrett had only gotten to his feet when he felt his father pull him back as the light washed over them. 

Everything fell still, a strange sense of peace washing over him before he felt the universe catch up with him. A second wave crashing into him. A loud gasp escaped him as he came to. His lungs were tight, barely holding what air he breathed. A gnarled screamed escaped him as he tried to pick himself up, pushing against the fallen debris pushed back against him, pinning to down. He clawed at the floor, trying to pull himself out, but it only seemed to make it worse. 

As he fell hard back to the floor, frantic eyes caught sight of it. A thick smoke filled the room, flickers of flames danced across the fall as shadows screamed, ran, or laid there un-moving. This couldn’t--no, not it couldn’t, no. 

Another scream ripped through him as he pushed himself up, large claws burying into the tile as he pushed against the ruble that had fallen atop of him. His body trembled against the weight, against the urge to fully turn. As he rose, ht felt the pieces fall away and as he got to his feet--his body gave way. He fell hard, still human and barely alive. With the little strength he had left, he pulled himself up. 

His mind was far from the scene, it was chasing questions with little to no answers. Where was Leiliani? Where had his father gone, he was just beside him? But his body moved through the scene, distant eyes searching not quite able to concentrate--the ringing had never stopped,his body unsteady as he trudged through the wreckage.  The world had ended and there was nothing he could have done to save it. 

February 11th, Twenty Two days Since the Incident. 

The hospital began to feel more like home, the nurses knew his name and greeted him with the sympathetic smiles each time they came to check on his father. He could see the sadness in their eyes, he could read the pain in their smiles and it never got easier. He was getting better, that much could be said for his father, but he was far what he was. 

He was alive, he was broken, and everything was still in the air. The doctor’s feared the worst, but said they wouldn’t know until he woke up--if he woke up. Garrett pushed the thought away as he dropped his backpack by his chair, his father was still in his coma. He pulled out his notebook, going back to the list he’d created--ideas to help, help what he didn’t know, but this needed to stop. He had to do something, he had to save this dying town or die with it.
