it's an au based on the fact that hoaxe should Not be able to like... communicate or understand standard social behavior more than like, a toddler at best, due to the fact that he was raised without any influence from "intelligent" creatures.

so basically it's hoaxe is just, a whole man with anger issues and fire magic who doesn't understand why he can't set people he doesnt like on fire. or just, anything on fire. he does in fact, spend most of his time finding things to set on fire. he likes to stalk around the offices and school areas, as they always have plenty of paper to burn.

jayce, my oc, is his caretaker. her job is to make sure he doesn't get the shit beat out of him (wasps are aggressive in nature), and to put out any unapproved fires. She also plays mediator/translator often, as hoaxe only knows a handful of words, and doesn't understand complex concepts.

hoaxe is pals with team snakemouth in this. he and leif are magic buddies and Vi loves to bring him shit to set on fire. Kabbu and Jayce are pals with Common Sense and Social Skills.

I'm sure they would get along great if they knew each other better.

Why do I ship them? Well it's because:

1: They were both injured by insects.

2: They were both abandoned. One by the scientists who left him for dead and the other by his parents.

3: One is ice and the other is fire.
