Bathtubs passing in the night by iain MacAdam

The iconic lodge peacock sign on the hill above Burton Drive. Randomly revisited these shots recently, I don't remember why. But we could use a break in the ocean and rocks over here I guess. Fuji X-E2 / 50mm Summicron-R v.1 (1968) (DSCF9369c)
Perhaps my fav car.

It was a very exciting weekend for me. 🤗 I got 9 beautiful Leica/Leitz R lens for a complete CLA, aperture modification for movie (de-clicking) and a mount replacement operation. All lenses have now a 90° rotated Canon EF mount thanks to the Leitax bayonets. Of course all modifications are reversible (original parts are sent back and preserved by the owner of the lenses), so if it occurs, all of them can be used in factory condition. ◻️ Elmarit-R 2.8/19 ◻️ Elmarit-R 2.8/24 ◻️ Elmarit-R 2.8/28 ◻️ Summicron-R 2/35 ◻️ Summilux-R 1.4/50 ◻️ Macro-Elmarit-R 2.8/60 ◻️ Summilux-R 1.4/80 ◻️ Summicron-R 2/90 ◻️ Elmarit-R 2.8/135 #leica #leitax #leicar #slr #analog #analogfeatures #analogisnotdead #vintagetech #vintagelensrepair #vintagegear #hispansphotoblog #mik #ikozosseg #magyarfotosok #camerarescue #camerarepair #cla #photographygear #photographygearporn #vintagelens #leicaslr #leitz #leitzwetzlar #leitzcanada #germanglass #germanlens #leicafan (at Hispan's photoblog) https://www.instagram.com/p/COiHvPqBsdn/?igshid=e2f3yv9c4xz3

Another Mercedes that never made it to production by Michael Khan
Via Flickr:
Mercedes Benz C-111-II prototype, 1970 Originally, this car was fitted with a Wankel type piston-less rotary engine, but Daimler Benz was dissatisfied with the lack of longevity of the power plant and gave up on the concept. The car was later used as a test bed for high-power Diesel motors.
