Atal tunnel reduces the journey from 5 to 6 hours from Manali to Keylong. through the Atal tunnel, it takes to 45 mins to cover the distance. From Jispa to Leh it takes around 8 hours of journey. You can then visit Tagangla which is the first pass you come Across. the journey goes fantastic with your friends, you can have food and you can enjoy it with your friends And can rest in Leh.
The places you can visit in Leh Ladakh are Shanti Stupa, Leh palace, Hall of Fame, Magnetic Hill, Sangam of rivers of river Indus and river Zanskar, Gurudwara patar sahib, Diskit Gompa, etc. You can explore Leh market, the best place to shop in Leh their handcraft items, accessories, clothes, etc. You can have food in Gurudwara Patar sahib.
On the way from Leh to Nubra Valley you come across the world's highest motorable pass Kardungla, where you can't stay there for more than 20 minutes because of the low oxygen level. You can also visit the world's highest cafe, standing at an altitude of 18380 feet from sea level. Do not ever miss visiting the river down the Kardungla top. This place is pure bliss and you will thank me later.
Next, you can visit Nubra Valley, which is one of the most unique places where you can find 4 biomes in a single place. Desert, mountains, snowfall, rivers, and meadows. You can find the most unique double-humped camels. In Nubra Valley, You can play archery, get a ride on camels and can play in rivers, sit and relax over the dunes and listen to your favorite music, and witnessing all 4 biomes is one of the best feelings in the world and is the best thing you can gift to yourself. The adventurous things you can do here are you can stay in tents provided there and have a bonfire camp and can have peaceful long night walks.
Next day you can visit the last village in India and the line of control. There was twin village called Pharnu and Thang which was separated during Independence. You should try pancakes made out of buckwheat on the way you should visit the most beautiful village called Turtuk. There you will have guides to provide you with all the information about that village and also provide you with a telescope to have a look at the line of control. You will see cute little kids waving at you on the roads expecting some little helping hands from you, so if possible you can take some educational kits and whatever possible things. You get to hear the heartwrenching stories of the separated families.
The next day you can ride on to Pangong Tso, which is the most beautiful and my favorite place, one should visit to witness this scenic beauty which changes its color 5 times a day. You will be lost in this beauty. It is an amazing place for star gazing and capturing those shots in your eyes. Further visiting the Kargil war memorial is a must. Because of the delay in booking our flights, we could stay in Kashmir for a day in the Dal Lake boat house, Then we visited Adi Shankaracharya temple, the Mughal garden. Shikara is the best and most place to visit there.
conclusion
I love and thank myself to have taken the best decision to visit these places, it was an amazing experience I have ever had in my life so far. I can promise you that you will be a different person after you visit these places where you get to know the lifestyle and culture of those people. It did make a difference in the way I look at my life. Any person will lose his ego standing amidst these tall mountains.

Leh Ladakh Tourism
Tumblr media
Leh Ladakh Tourism- It would be a sin to skip these water bodies!
Leh Ladakh is a majestic place surrounded by two of the most magnificent mountain ranges- The Himalayas and Karakoram mountain range. Leh Ladakh is everything- a short escape from the mundane life, a vacation, a romantic trip, an adventurous ride, we can go on. This beautiful place has something for everyone from skies scattered with a million stars to crystal blue lakes and snow capped mountains. Any trip to this place is not a vacation, it is an experience. While some find themselves in this place, others find a happiness that they never knew was right within them. That is what this place does to you. It leaves you with a better sense of appreciation for things that actually matter in life.
As a Bangalorean,  if you are planning a Leh Ladakh trip from Bangalore, we are sure you already know everything we just said. But Leh isn’t just all mountains and sand, there are some beautiful water bodies in the place that you can’t miss. Fret not if you are not aware of it, we are here to help you out.
Must visit places in Leh Ladakh
Regardless of whether it is a package trip or a bike tour to Ladakh, these are some of the water bodies that you should visit when you are going to Leh Ladakh.
Pangong Tso Lake- Where do we start? There is no adjective in the dictionary to do justice to the beauty of this lake. Bollywood movie buffs might recognise this lake from the movie ‘3 Idiots’. Surrounded by mountains, this crystal clear lake is breathtaking and is best visited during summer as the lake freezes over in winter. You can even have a picnic here but ensure to not litter the place.
Tso Moriri lake- Tso Moriri lake, also known as the mountain lake is filled with springs and melted snow from the neighbouring mountains. This place looks like something out of a postcard or a movie, very surreal. Lush green pastures, snow capped mountains and the clear blue water of the lake makes you never want to leave this place. The road leading to the lake is in a good state for the most part of the journey but it is important to carry extra fuel as there are no petrol pumps along the way.
Zanskar river- Zanskar river is one of those places that you can visit all throughout the season. During summer, this is the perfect place to be for adventurous water sport, but take caution since the water is freezing cold even when the sun is shining bright. The lake completely freezes over during winter as is a part of the Chadar trek which involves trekking over frozen lakes.
Do not forget to pack warm when you are travelling to Ladakh, though the place is incredibly beautiful, it is also unimaginably cold for most part of the year. Also, do not forget to gorge on delicious hot momos and thukpa when you are in Ladakh.
