XD idk I just know in the little story / game-idea I had for these characters, there would be a canon off-screen tickle moment between these two, cus Doppio’s getting grumpy and Sherri’s like “I know what’ll turn that frown upside-down” and just starts tickling him

And also I don’t think I’ve actually drawn tickle art before (or at least drawn it & shared it?) so this is a first :3

[also to me this is purely sfw. I know some people see tickling in a not sfw way, but to me it’s sfw cus like. People get tickled as a kid. If it wasn’t sfw then that’s extremely worrying]

Nijisanji EN/XSOLEIL - Doppio Dropscythe feat. Meloco Kyoran

Meloco continued to stroll down the hallway, her umbrella resting on her shoulder as she hummed a random tune that came up to her mind. The girl suddenly stopped, feeling the one following her clumsily bump into her back.

“Dopi,” she mused with a chuckle, turning her head around to look over her shoulder. “You can’t be distracted in a moment like this.”

The first year student pouted, still holding his hands in front of his chest. “I’m not distracted!! I-it’s just-”

“I told you that there is nothing to be scared of, I’ll get rid of those ghosts in no time,” the exorcist reassured him, reaching up for his head to playfully ruffle his hair. Doppio sighed, but nodded to his senior’s words. He didn’t like the idea of investigating a haunted house, but it was true that, with Meloco’s ability, if any ghost dared to approach them, she would cast them away in a second. 

Still, ghosts were something completely out of his reach, after all, how could he punch something without a body?!

“But… are you sure there are ghosts here? Maybe it was just a false positive…”

She chuckled again, continuing to walk ahead. “Of course! I can feel their presence…”

“W-wait for me!” Doppio gasped, continued to follow his senior, looking left and right and even over his shoulders to make sure there was nothing around them. This was just getting worse. “W-where are they, Meloco?” He stuttered, taking one small step after the other.

“Hmm… it’s hard to tell, but they are close.”

“C-close?!” Doppio gasped, continuing to eye his surroundings as he shyly reached out for Meloco’s hands, holding it tightly. “H-how clohoho- ah, Meheloco, this ihisn’t the time fohohor tihihickling!”

“What?” She scoffed, tilting her head, “but I’m not even touching you, Doppio.”

Realization struck him like lightning. Doppio widened his eyes and looked towards where Meloco’s voice came from. The girl was steps ahead of him, with a calm smile on her face and, instead of her hand, he was holding a translucent, ghostly one. 

But as he was just about to let out a panicked shriek, he was reminded of the reason he was laughing in the first place: a sudden squeeze on his side made him jolt, continuing to laugh as he tried to fend himself from his spectral assaulters. “AhAHAh, h-hehEHElp!! T-thehey ahahre tohohouching me!”

Hiding her smile behind her hand, the second year student nodded, speaking a little louder so her voice could be heard through Doppio’s frightened laughter. “Indeed, but they are just playing around!”

Why did she sound so amused by that?! Doppio groaned through his laughter, wrapping his arms around his stomach as he leaned back in a wall, trying to protect himself. “G-gehehet rid of thehehem!! AhAHAhah, plehehease!”

The exorcist smiled, tapping her shoulder with her umbrella. “I’m working on it, hang in there!” Well, it was time to work.

Storia Di Musica #299 - Sonic Youth, Daydream Nation, 1988

Il mese delle scelte con doppia voce cantante maschile e femminile termina con un disco epocale. E poche volte l'aggettivo calza a pennello come questa volta, in un disco, doppio, che accumula tutte le idee di una generazione del rock alternativo americano, per un lavoro discografico seminale da cui fioriranno artisti e idee prorompenti degli anni a venire. La storia degli artefici di questo disco inizia qualche anno prima, nel 1981, a New York. Al Noise Festival organizzato dalla galleria d'arte White Columns, quando Thurston Moore sta suonando con la sua fidanzata, Kim Gordon, e vengono notati dal comnpositore e musicista d'avanguardia Glenn Branca. Tra loro nasce subito un'intesa, e uno dei collaboratori di Branca, un chitarrista dalle idee molto originali, Lee Ranaldo, si unisce al gruppo, che una volta trovato un batterista, Richard Edson (ma ne cambieranno decine nel corso degli anni) formano un gruppo a cui danno un nome composto dal nome di Fred "Sonic" Smith, membro degli MC5 e fondatore della Sonic's Rendezvous Band e futuro marito di Patti Smith, con quello del musicista reggae Big Youth, amato da Kim Gordon: nascono così i Sonic Youth. Dopo un primi ep, titolato Sonic Youth, nel 1983 pubblicano il primo disco, Confusion Is Sex, nel 1983: portano sul vinile il selvaggio modo di esibirsi nei locali, tra feedback come se non ci fosse altro effetto musicale, rumorismo preso dalla lezione di Branca, tessiture di chitarra stranianti frutto delle accordature del tutto personali degli strumenti, riff minimali e ripetitivi, in una congestione tra punk e avanguardia che li renderà unici, aggiungendo quel tocco rock decadente tra Velvet Underground, Stooges e MC5, tanto amati da Moore. Sono anche super combattivi e non la mandano a dire a nessuno, e il primo ad accorgersene fu il famoso critico Robert Christgau, che sul Village Voice definì il loro suono e quello di altre band emergenti Pigfuck, alchè la band dedicò la sanguinosa e niente affatto edulcorata una nuova versione di Kill Yr Idols in I Killed Christgau With My Big Fucking Dick, prima che i due si riappacificassero. Il primo grande disco è del 1985, Bad Moon Rising, che in alcune canzoni, come gli otto minuti fatali di I Love Her All The Time e soprattutto Death Valley '69, epocale, fanno capire che nessuno è uguale a loro. Moore ha l'abitudine di cambiare di continuo metodi di registrazioni, anche lo stile di produzione, e di cambiare con la stessa frequenza batteristi. Evol del 1986 li lega all'etichetta SST, e dopo un altro album grandioso, Sister, del 1987, si cimentano in un progetto alternativo, chiamato Ciccone Youth, dove rifanno pezzi storici di Madonna, Robert Palmer e parodiano l'hip hop, che in quegli anni stava salendo alla ribalta. E qui hanno un incontro particolare: Nick Sansano è un produttore hip hop, che li vede suonare. Non ha mai prodotto rock, ma si innamora così tanto del loro modo vivo e potente di esibirsi che accetta di produrre il loro lavoro, registrato ai Greene St. Recording, a SoHo, New York. Moore cambia stile di "progettazione" e con la band, che alla batteria stavolta ha Steve Shelley, inizia a suonare jam session improvvisando, carpendo di volta in volta le parti più interessanti. per la prima volta, hanno mezzi economici e tecnici per registrare più tempo, e nel mese che si prendono per farlo scrivono tantissime canzoni, che vanno a finire in un doppio album che, come accennato, è uno dei grandi dischi degli ultimi decenni: Daydream Nation (1988).

È un disco densissimo di stili, significati, idee, e basta la copertina, un rifacimento con una candela reale del famoso quadro Kerze di Gerhard Richter, per capire che è un disco di fattura ideologica potentissima. È un disco che sperimenta ogni cosa, dal pop di Kissability alla potenza dei brani iniziali, le ormi leggendarie Teenage Riot (It's time to go 'round\A one man showdown teach us how to fail\We're off the streets now\And back on the road on the riot trail) e Silver Rocket. Le voci di Moore e Gordon si alternano ai brani, Kim è fantastica e intensa in Cross The Breeze, ma alterna altri registri vocali ed interpretativi, per una prova super dove si pone persino ironica in The Sprawl. Lee Ranaldo e la sua chitarra non sono mai stati così visionari come in Eric’s Trip che prende ispirazione dal monologo di Eric Emerson nel film Chelsea Girls di Andy Warhol e Hey Joni, un omaggio alla loro maniera fantasiosa di Hey Joe di hendrixiana memoria ma dedicata a Joni Mitchell e che nel testo allude al leggendario Neuromancer di William Gibson, il libro cult del cyberpunk. Un messaggio vocale con voce stentorea di Mike Watt dei Minutemen compariva quasi dal nulla in Providence con in sottofondo il piano suonato da Thurston Moore, assolo di piano registrato a casa di sua madre usando un walkman, il suono di un amplificatore Peavey Roadmaster surriscaldato e un paio dei suddetti messaggi telefonici lasciati da Mike Watt, che chiamava Moore da un telefono pubblico di Providence, Rhode Island, doppiati l'uno sull'altro. The Wonder si ispira ad una lavoro dello scrittore James Ellroy, maestro della crime fiction. Sul disco, in omaggio (o sberleffo) ai Led Zeppelin del mitico IV, ogni componente della band ha un simbolo che lo contraddistingue. Il disco è un'ovazione di critica e pubblico sin dall'uscita, e campeggia nelle prime posizioni dei dischi migliori dell'anno 1988. A distanza di anni, è unanimemente considerato il punto più alto del rock indipendente americano. Subito dopo, firmano con la Geffen, e come succede sempre, vengono accusati di altro tradimento dai fan della prima ora. Ma questa è un'altra storia, che nulla toglie alla bellezza e all'importanza storica di questo album capolavoro.

I decided to be a little self-indulgent and write a little prompt I thought about a few days ago while I’m bored at work. Anyway, enjoy!

also, this has nothing to do with the poll, i’m still working in a shxtou/reader fic hehe

You scrolled through your social media feed, trying to find something that would end your boredom. It was one of those days where nothing was going on, no plans, no duties, no council meetings…

Well, on the bright side, it meant you could spend some more time with Doppio. The enforcer was lying next to you, also mindlessly checking new posts. But, still, was that how the two were supposed to spend your free day? Staying in his bed all day doing nothing?

No, you weren’t accepting this idea.

As you turned to the side, looking at Doppio, you spotted his clothes. It wasn’t like he had something unusual on, but rather lack of a few layers of cloth. Having him so close to you - looking so “exposed” - was starting to give you some ideas.

“Doppi…” you muttered, placing your phone down and getting ready to strike.

“Yes?”

“I’m bored. Let’s do something,” you continued, noticing how he wasn’t paying attention to you. Just the opening you were looking for.

“Sure, what do you wahAHA- NOHOHOH! Ahahah, wahahait!!” Ignoring his answer, you pounced on him, reaching for both his sides and starting to tickle the enforcer, making a high-pitched and surprised laughter burst out of his lips.

“I want to tickle you, Doppi,” a smug smile took place on your face as you pressed your fingers into his lower ribs. He was kicking his legs behind you, squirming and trying to push you away to protect his sensitive body from the tickles.

“W-why?! AhahAHAH, plehehease! No ticklihihing! L-lehehet’s do something eheHEHELSE!!” He squealed, throwing his head back as you moved your hands to his middle, tickling his stomach.

“Eh? But I like hearing you laugh… you look so cute ~” You teased him, using one hand to pinch his waist while tickling the spot below his navel with the other.

“AHAHAH, W-WAHAHAIT!! Not thehEHEHEhere!” He cried out in mirth, his voice cracking along the giggles.

Just when you were about to reach for his ribs, you caught a glimpse of something moving towards your face. A flailing hand, that you failed to notice earlier, coming to your way now that you were inside its reach. His hand was moving too fast and it was too late to try dodging. The amount of strength in that single hit was enough to knock you out, making you black out for god-knows-how -long.

Next thing you know, you are in Doppio’s arms, with the enforcer shaking you, clearly worried about you.

“Hey! Hey, are you ok? Do you hear me?”

“D-Doppi? What happ- ouch!” You flinched, feeling like your jaw could drop from your head at any moment. So that’s what happened.

“I’m so sorry!!” He cried out, with puppy eyes. “It tickled too much and I couldn’t hold myself, I shou-”

“Doppi, it’s fine,” you said, letting out a soft chuckle despite the pain. “It’s my fault,” you said, taking his hand in yours. 

“I-I’ll grab some ice, stay here!” He said in a hurry, hopping out of his bed and leaving the bedroom before you could say something.

You placed your hand over your reddish chin, feeling the soreness. Well, a fair price, you supposed, chuckling to yourself as you knew very well it was something bound to happen again. 

After all, a single accidental punch wasn’t going to stop you from trying to tickle Doppio again…
