In anticipation of the next chapter with Leather, his deranged brothers, Jammy and Hitch.

Ok so, Leathers brothers are the ones i had the most fun with. I especially had fun with Hitch. Think I had the most freedom when designing these two because there's little to know indication of what they look like. the most to be inferred was "similar to Leather" and "farmers"

I just realized I gave them similar poses lol

Honestly, a lot of my interpretations of the brothers is very loose. From what I can gather, they are based on the Sawyer family, pretty obviously with Leather being a sexy Leatherface. But aside from that, I believe that Hitch takes inspiration from Nubbins Sawyer, who's known as the Hitchhiker and the most deranged; I mean we get dialogue from the Mc About how much we hate Hitch. I'm not too sure about Jammy; Its possible he could be the cook but that's a reach.

I took a lot of liberties with how Hitch and Jammy could be interpreted. Like, Leather feels like he's got a lot of older sibling energy, there's no way Hitch ISN'T a middle child, and Jammy feels like a youngest child. We get little info on their individual personalities outside of a few minute, easy to miss moments, based on vibes.

We hear about Jammy first; Leather comments that Jammy slacks off and in a later chapter, we have the option to tease Leather about Jammy fooling around with girls and from the way Leather reacts: he doesn't rule this out as a possiblity. So its likely he might have lured people to kill. Buts that's a headcanon tbh. But we do know the most about his personality, especially compared to his brother. Minus the blood and if he tried not to look like a shifty bastard, he'd come off as a simple farmer

Then we see Hitch in a later chapter, but he's unnamed until Leathers mask off episode. We don't get much info on him, it feels like he lurks in the background until its time to kill, so I reflected it in how his hat obscures his eyes. Whatever personality we can glean from him, i think we can also draw from Nubbins from TCM; psychotic and mentally deranged with erratic behavior. He might be the most bloodthirsty or confrontational, as evidenced by the fact he's the one hunting us down the most in Leathers mask off chapter.

It's pretty obvious that Hitch and Jammy are closer to each other than they are to Leather, as evidenced by the way they talk about him. From what I know about toxic family dynamics especially among siblings, it honestly feels like they might have been turned against him at some point. One could guess they somewhat cared for each other, but their hatred of witches and outsider overrode that. Their family is generally pretty fucked and we might get more info on them outside of the witch stuff. I hope so at least.

Any headcanons for leather and his family

Hiya! Took a while, but I finally got inspired to write something Slashfic related (also, had to do some rewind).

Here we go (SPOILERS AHEAD):

I imagine Leather as the middle child, with a long history of illness (but not vitiligo) as a kid (hence the bullying from his brothers). Now, he could be the oldest (possibly not), but he for sure doesn’t give off the youngest energy (Jammy, looking at you, ya little rascal).

Leather actually grew tall pretty quickly, outgrew many of his peers in fact, and his bullies couldn’t stand it.

In the newest chapter, we can find out that he’s rather interested in treating injured animals - I can see that, sure, BUT hear me out: equine therapy or hippotherapy - that would be definitely his jam,

The boys’ father either died or left. Their mother rationalized the outcome of that situation, using the curse tales and such. That woman is in denial, maybe seeks revenge for what happened.

Not to mention, she was definitely an enabler and even participated in the bullying herself to an extent, by telling the big L he’ll never be enough.

That’s where his desperate need to prove himself (internal) and inner voice came from. He sees himself as defective, because the affection he received wasn’t unconditional either.

Jammy had an episode as a stand up comedian, however that was definitely short-lived. He got booed many times. Perhaps even got into some copyright issues, I don’t know, don’t ask me…Boo.

A part of Leather doesn’t want to be a burden, that’s why he’s so quiet and shut. He’ll just do the job and go to sleep. (Therapy would do wonders, if it wasn’t for the rest of the story!)

Leather being a father figure among the slashers? Nah. More like “a constantly tired uncle who was told to babysit, but the job is too much and he’s done with that bs”. Couldn’t phrase it better.

Ma suffers from a type of neurosis.

Their ancestors burned witches, that's possible, but maybe one of them fell in love with one? Now, wouldn't that be interesting...?

Hitch LOVES disco from the 70’s.  And ABBA. On full volume. Even during the purge.

Jammy is obviously a "did you fall from heaven" pickup line enjoyer. Ugh, I can't.

Their house surely does need some solid renovating. I picture it as a family heirloom of some sort (Was there anything about it in the story? I can’t remember.)

The family sewed their own scarecrow who (strangely enough) resembles Leather with a Jammy’s straw hat.

Amongst the siblings, Leather knows about human anatomy the most.

Leather would absolutely LOVE orlesian jazz. Don't ask me how I know, I don't know how I know.

I've become absolutely feral for SlashFic on Dorian and I can't find anything on A03 for it and idk if Im just stupid or no ones posted anything yet

I keep thinking about a big confession scene for each of the slashers where the MC finally admits that they've caught feelings and it's not just darkness cravings

I can see Leathers being soft but stern. He's def not gonna believe them at first so they gotta be gentle when saying it but insist it's true and they know themselves well enough to know what they feel. Boys heart is made of glass and he's got thick walls around it to protect it. Probably gonna need the chainsaw to get through them.

For ghost it'd probably gotta be snapped/yelled out during a fight, they're toxic that way toward one another. Poking and prodding to get reactions out of one another. Drawing it out of each other like angry teenagers with no outlet. Boy uses sarcasm and humor to defect everything and he's confused about what he really wants. Then he'd scramble to get them to say it again and get mad when they won't.

Jays I could see being soft as well, but like a teaching moment instead of trying to prove it's true like with leather. They're trying to explain how this feeling for them is different than lust or familal love. Might be an actual first for him.

Mike .....I'm stumped kinda on him but I feel like it's more of a stupefied moment for both of them. Like MC just ....blurts it out, mouth diarrhea style and then they're both just staring at each other, neither saying anything until MC finally cracks and freaks out both on the inside and out

unless the intruder is seriously planning on ruining his way of life, then that's when he gets the chainsaw back out.
