I learned from my homeschooling books. I got honors in college.

We did actual hands on education like traveling to historical sites and museums etc. We had a homeschooling group. We had 4-H group. Etc.

I got to have an education tailored to me. I got to focus on my strengths. Focus on my writing and choose the history I wanted to study in high school. Choose the literature i wanted to read. Making me enthusiastic about learning and an active participant

One of the best things was not having homework and actually having free time after 3:00.

Homeschooling is indoctrination. You are cutting off all exposure to the real world.

#Homeschooling #It wasnt perfect #But I wouldn't trade ir #I'm someone that loves freedom #Learning about the presidents in high school led me to pol Sci in college #Math ... perhaps could've had a tutor #My sisters weren't as good at sitting down and learning as me #U have to make sure kids r reading lessons #But u don't need to learn to be a teacher to homeschool #Get a good curriculum
