I started out as a Neptunia blog, but I quickly became a KNB blog after my absence of various years. To honor both, I made Tetsuna (genderbent Kuroko) the Green Sister, CPU candidate of Leanbox! Because Vert is the only one without a sibling, and basketball is an American sport.

(Leanbox is supposed to be a reference to the XBOX and Leanbox culture to American culture, with HDD forms being similar to magical girl transformations that can also change a character's colouring or even their age. CPUs are basically the leaders of their countries and CPU candidate is a title reserved for a CPU's younger sister for those who don't play Neptunia).

I pretty much copied Nepgear's character design pose, and combined elements of various CPU outfits to create a realistic looking HDD (my mom who knows the Neptunia games but isn't familiar enough to know who's who actually thought my Tetsuna design was a real Neptunia charactern in HDD form, so I feel like I did a good job). The backdrop is inspired by one of the game's dungeons. I also tried to keep in basketball elements, like the white stripes on her shoes and her hair ties resembling the lines on a basketball, and obviously the various orange circlular forms on her HDD costume. Her colouring changes only slightly, but it leans more towards Vert's colouring when she transforms into Green Heart for the sisterly resemblance.

I hope the fanart is well-received, I ruined one of my favourite sweaters painting this because I'm an idiot who forgets they're wearing their nice clothes when painting.

I'm totally open for commissions, and I'd love to make HDD versions of non-CPU characters! If you've ever wondered how Compa, IF or even Histoire would look in HDD, please let me know! I'd love to make HDD fanart designs OwO

I personally prefer painting, and these are my prices for fan art paintings:

The actual physical copy is also for sale for those who’d like that, but the price of those depends on shipping costs and the materials used (obviously, a painting that required me to buy some extra paint is going to cost more than a painting where I already had all the paints necessary in my home.)

*note: pornographic images aren't allowed to be shipped according to Dutch law, so whilst I do take NSFW requests, I won't sell their physical copies because that will get me into legal trouble (unless you're from my country and willing to come pick it up).

PS: Chinese laws about images are pretty strict, so if I have a Chinese fan on my blog interested in buying physical copies please do inform yourself whether my art won't get you, or me, into trouble because Chinese authorities deem the painting as offensive.

Warning I suppose? I do NOT ship physical copies to the following countries: I do not feel comfortable having things such as my address as the sender exposed in a country at war, so countries like Ukraine, Russia, Afghanistan, etc, are a no-no for me. Sorry, but that's just out of my comfort zone.

(I don't know exactly how to receive money on Tumblr, so I would like some advice on how that Tumblr feature works, or if I should try a different method like DM-ing a person my PayPal, or something).

Colossal Fight leads to Colossal Damage!

Recently, all of our nation’s goddesses went to assist Lowee in a fight that quite literally shook the world. GAMINDUSTRI News took the effort of recording the next day.

As many now know, a battle ensued that caused major damage to Lowee’s plains and forests. Citizens are asked not to go and Lowee officials are temporarily barring any visitors, but we got a special look inside.

Now, we didn’t get permission to take photos, but we are allowed to say this: it’s completely barren. Almost all plant life is gone, and the other countries have already begun transporting some of their own plant life in an attempt to recover the once thriving forests and plains.

Despite the attack, however, shares seem to have gone up. Leanbox and Lastation suffered the least, receiving no damage at all. Obviously, Lowee suffered the most, losing almost all of it’s forest and plains. But all three countries seem to have equal or even higher shares.

Leanbox and Lastation have already begun efforts to assist in recovery, though this may seem forced as sources say Blanc consistently refused to accept help.

In fact, Vert, or Green Heart as some know her, held a press conference about the matter at hand, along with some words of her own.

“I cannot speak for Lowee or any of the other countries, but I can speak on behalf of myself and Leanbox when we say we are terribly sorry for Lowee and its current state. I’ll be doing all I can in sending resources and assistance in recovery efforts, even if Blanc refuses it each time. I hope all in Leanbox help those in Lowee to deal with this awful tragedy.”

Noire refused to hold a press conference, and immediately denied our request for an exclusive comment.

However, her sister, Uni, allowed us this statement: “My sister is absolutely saddened by this, but she’s focusing on relief efforts and her own country at the same time, so she doesn’t want any of the attention towards her.”

As for the targeted country, Lowee, Blanc also refused to hold a public conference.

However, she accepted our request to an interview, and this is the transcript.

Q1: What happened in the fight? Can you describe it?

“It was a routine patrol. I remember a new traveler coming across me. She threatened Lowee, and I went into my CPU form. You probably already know the rest.”

Q2: Who was the monster? What was it like?

“It’s difficult to describe, but… it’s like they were monsters that WERE humans at one time. Because aside from obvious differences, they almost looked human.”

Q3: What about your sisters? Are they ok?

“Rom and Ram are fine. I have them recovering in a clinic, as they took major damage during the battle.”

Q4: What happens next? What do you plan to do?

“Reluctantly, I’m currently accepting the donations offered to me by Lastation and Lowee and we’re immediately beginning recovery of the plantation. However, due to this, food supplies may be limited as we will have to buy food from the other countries rather than grow it here.”

Blanc refused to answer any more questions.

As for Neptune and Nepgear? The goddesses of Planeptune? What even happened to them, and what’s going to happen to Planeptune?

IF and Compa, close friends of the goddesses, set up a press conference just two hours ago to address these questions.

“We know you’re worried about Nep-Nep and Nepgear. But unfortunately, we have to tell you bad news. They’re currently in intensive care. Doctors are saying most of their life force was sucked out of them. They also say a series of share infusions should restore their life force, so they’re not going to die. But, they’ll be in a coma for a while, so me and Compa have decided that we’ll take their place for now. Histoire will continue monitoring them while we care for your needs. As for Lowee, we wish them luck, but we can’t do anything until both Nep and Nepgear wake up.”

They left the podium and we were all dismissed shortly after.

It seems this massive attack left everyone on their toes as Lowee has little plant life and Planeptune not having their goddesses present.

We do have one last thing for you all, though.

Blanc was kind enough to sit down with our artists and describe the monsters as best as she could.

She also gave us permission to publicize the concepts.

Thinking of the Neptunia series which I’ve not touched in a long time. I wish they kept the main story going or touched on other themes and ideas instead of milking spin offs and cash grab games.

Instead of another "What if piracy bad story" what about one dealing with the worst excesses of triple A gaming industry with that Neptunia trademark humor?

Neptune gets sealed and wakes up in a dark future where the CPUs are gone or corrupted and evil corporate CEOs rule game industry now

Noire has become some smoking Ojou type with yakuza type minions corrupted by wealth and you need to take her down a peg and remind her of her humanity in an epic boss fight before getting her back into the party. Also her dungeon is a homage to stage 8/Mr X’s tower from streets of rage.

Nepgear has defected to Leanbox after the fall of Planeptune(which apes the real world fall of sega) after her sister vanished becoming Verts sister and Neptune has to make amends and win her back and also wake Vert up to the fact shes become a corporate stooge.

Doesn’t even need to be canon could be a dark future plot but it would be cool to see that in a Neptunia game if they ever showed the franchise proper respect again.

Vert's Psyche Headcanon

A/N: Now, this is my first headcanon for the HDN franchise, and we're starting with Vert because I feel like she's the most misunderstood character from the franchise.

-I'm going to start with the criticism of some of the fans, who I feel like misunderstand Vert. First of all, she's not a pedophile. The only character she canonically had romantic feelings for is IF who's an adult. I feel like, her sexuality which is either lesbian or bisexual, is getting mixed up with her current mental health issues that were caused by the introduction of CPU candidates. -Yes, she has been suffering from mental health issues, I find it easy to see why Vert changed from being the most hardworking and responsible goddess, into one that's slacking almost so bad as Neptune and seems even more disinterested in actually being the CPU. -We know she won't be getting a sister because the XBOX has no handheld console, but Vert doesn't. In-universe, Vert doesn't has a sister because the public wasn't satisfied enough to create a share-boom that birthes a sister. Just think of what it would mean, for the most hardworking and dedicated CPU to never actually please her people. No matter how hard Vert works, she's never good enough for the people in Leanbox in-universe. It definitely left her heartbroken. -Just think about how difficult being a CPU is for Vert, on the long run. She's immortal, her people aren't. So far, the only Oracle who's actually been confirmed to be immortal like the CPUs is Histoire, we don't know anything about the actual nature of the other three Oracles. If Chika is human, then Vert is the only immortal being in her country. She's the only one who always sees people dying whilst she never ages a day, she's all alone and she is the founding CPU of her nation unlike Neptune who could at least rely on her predecessors to oversee the building of morbid places like cementeries. Vert had to do all of that, all alone as the sole immortal of her country. Whilst everyone else has siblings, and Planeptune also has Histoire. After a while, this loneliness and the rejection from her people really dug it's way into her psyche. -This is why her gaming addiction, which started somewhat innocent but not too serious prior to the introduction of the sisters, completely spiralled out of control. She's grown to develop depression, that she masks through her gaming addiction, using it as escapism. -I feel like this also plays into her dream, of Vert's sisters being Vert herself and how she actually would like to be a younger sibling. She desperately wants someone to be there to help her and take care of her like Neptune has Nepgear. She doesn't wants to be the CPU or the oldest all the time anymore, she's fed up with always working hard but getting no rewards or appreciation for it. -This is also why Nepgear is her favorite CPU candidate, because she is exactly the kind of little sister she wants: One responsible and reliable enough she can lean on. -This why her banter with Blanc got even worse. Vert is just as hurt and insecure about not having any sibling where Blanc is the only CPU who has TWO, as Blanc is about her body image. Vert's pain is just made fun of so much and body image is such a common struggle that Vert's pain doesn't seems as serious in comparison. -What Vert really wants, is to just feel good enough for her people, and not to be alone in the face of eternity. -But because she's in such a dark place, all of her feelings are muddled and confused, and she crosses the line between appropriate behavior towards the sisters as a result, but I feel like therapy and actually getting a sister would bring her to her senses and the CPU she was in the Super Dimension. -I feel like a more feisty version of Nepgear would suit Vert, this woman should get a sister who clearly reminds Vert what boundaries are supposed to be, but will love her big sister with all of her heart and fight for Vert because only she's allowed to be mean to her big sister. Her acting protective will bring Vert to tears. I've mentioned the Vampire Knight fandom several times on my fandom, and I'm imagening a dynamic between Vert and her sister similar to Yuki and Headmaster Cross, with Headmaster Cross obviously being Vert.

Welcome to the Hexadimension, one of many parallel versions of the world of Gamindustry; a world far beyond the land of our own reality, divided into four nations, each ruled by one of four goddesses: at the southernmost portion of the land lies Leanbox, land of green pastures, which has seen but two rulers since its inception, the current one being a foreign god named Verde, New Green Heart; to the east lies Lastation, kingdom of black regality, currently ruled by a former warmonger known as Nero, New Black Heart; to the west, we find Planeptune, holy empire of purple progress, nation that has been in the hands of many, many governors, but currently belongs solely to the  goddess New Purple Heart, Viola. And last, at the northernmost point of the northernmost nation in this faraway land, lies the republic of white serenity, Lowee, currently ruled by a goddess we’re about to meet…

A young looking woman runs away from the aggressive megafauna (specifically, an oversized carnivorous turtle) of Lowee’s current landscape, an eternal winter wasteland smack dab in the middle of Gamindustry. The woman is dressed in a strange yet simple blend of ethnic and modern clothing, wearing a modern-day black winter coat over a brightly colored but notoriously worn down sarafan, her short black hair and the rest of her attire contrasting harshly with the snowy landscape, carrying on her back a large sack filled with a wide array of supplies and holding a staff close to her chest. She trips, hitting her knee on a rock hidden away by the thick snow that’s all but taken over the landscape, and cries out in a mix of pain, fear and desperation.  

Suddenly, a gunshot is heard.  

A metallic ball the size of a rat doing 90 miles an hour hits the monster that had been chasing the woman right on its side, throwing it off balance.  

A girl that appears to be in her teenage years but is actually far younger than she seems can be seen amongst the snow, not too far away from the woman. Rocking a unique attire composed of white choker with a blue dog tag, a gray crop top, a black jacket with only a left sleeve, the symbol of Lowee’s government on its back and a blue zipper, a detached white sleeve with blue stripes on its edges on her right arm, a plain gray miniskirt, a white belt with custom holsters for gunblades on either side, a black purse with the same symbol as her jacket, and mismatched black and white thigh highs, the black one on her right leg connected to the rest of her getup by a garter belt, in spite of the raging winter and the near freezing temperatures of this once forsaken Lowee, the NexGen CPU New White Heart, also known as Saturnia, is a real sight to behold. Armed with a pair of gunblades and a collapsible scythe on her back, her cyan eyes reflecting the snowy landscape and her long hair as blue as the skies of this nation once were tied up in a ponytail and decorated by a hairclip shaped like a joystick, she walks up to the monster and finally speaks. “Sorry I took too long, you’re not the only one who needs saving around here.”  

Saturnia, New White Heart, is a former street urchin brought up to power by an adoptive family after Lowee’s late CPU mysteriously disappeared and was found dead days later. Although in the time between those events and Saturnia becoming a NexGen CPU, a little too long had passed, and Lowee’s citizens’ mass panic and sudden anarchic outbursts combined with the attack from an unknown enemy that remains unseen to this day led to the nation rapidly and suddenly becoming what it is today.  

The goddess charges at the creature and stabs the blades of her guns into the spot that her hovering ball had hit earlier, softened by that attack. The beast tries to shake off the gunblades, but before it has a chance to attack Saturnia, she fires a flurry of bullets at point blank before pulling her gunblades out of the turtle’s shell and slotting them into their holsters. The turtle turns to face Saturnia and tries to attack, but she dodges with a backflip, takes her scythe out from behind her back, and unleashes a flurry of attacks on the now defenseless turtle.

Saturnia has been doing everything in her power to bring her country as close back to its golden age as possible, but the snowstorm from the unknown enemy’s curse has already claimed most of Lowee, and the provisional Basilicom at the northernmost point of the nation, as well as the town surrounding it and the scavengers exploring the endless snow desert and the ruins of the old Lowee.

The battle ends moments after that, a chopped up giga turtle lying dead on the snowy floor, not a scratch on the goddess, weapons stowed away, who is yet to be recognized as a goddess by the woman she just saved.  

“Are you hurt? I got some bandages and such on me, hold still for a sec so I can clean up your wounds-” Saturnia says as she kneels to aid the woman, but is soon interrupted by the woman, just barely coming to her senses – “Don’t touch me! You’re never taking me back alive! Get away from me you White Heart wannabe! You don’t deserve this nation!” The woman gets up and limps away as fast as she can, as Saturnia watches on, confused. It takes her about 20 seconds to realize the woman she helped is a Blanc loyalist AND a known arsonist, after which she sighs in frustration. “I didn’t ask for this power… and I don’t want to be her…” she silently swears to herself to bring that woman back in next time they meet, even though she has escaped every time she was brought to Lowee’s current prison. Displeased, Saturnia stuffs her hands into her jacket’s pockets and heads back to base, or in this case, Basilicom.
