Hell Yeah: Leere Dedication Mini Fic and Art.
The Coliseum was packed to the brim with people from all around Hyrule. They were highly excited, roaring for the curtain to rise. On the stage, a woman and her crew took every moment of silence to take control of any nerves they felt. For years, they played at bars and taverns all around the country, however, this was their first large scale performance. They amassed enough fame to be offered a live performance at the Hylian Coliseum by the Mayor of Castle Town.
Gago took a peak out from the curtain. He made a silent ‘whoa’ to himself, turning back to his bandmates. “There’s quite the crowd out there.”
Leere, lead singer and guitarist, was fixing the adjustments on her instrument with her bass player Conny. “How many?”
“Four, maybe five-thousand.”
“Ok...” Leere gave her guitar one strum. It electrified aloud as it was already connected to the Zora speakers. The crowd screamed for them to reveal themselves after being teased. The Mortuus lady was in her early sixties now. Her lack of necrotic magic use had finally started to show the first signs of her age, with light wrinkles on her face visible to the most observant. But her youth was still vibrant, and her maturity strong. The crowd’s screams fueled her energy to go out and perform.
“Everyone. I just want to say this one thing before we go out there.” All her band mates gathered around, listening intently to their leader. “We’ve been through much together. We’ve had one another’s backs. You’re the best friends I’ve ever made, and every cheer that’s out there is 100% earned. Let’s pour our hearts out and give them a show theyïżœïżœïżœll never regret.”
“Hell Yeah!”
They all cheered together, throwing their hands up. Leere singled the technician to raise the curtain on the stage. They walked out, waving to the crowd of thousands that adored them. The lady kept her wits as she was surrounded by all the people that came to see them perform.
Taking their places, Leere held her guitar. Her palms slowly grew sweaty, and her throat dry. She was trying to find the words to say to open the evening, when her eyes landed on her beacon of hope. Near the front of the stage was her wife Sunny and, riding high up on her shoulders, their daughter Joy. Little Joy had never seen her mother perform before. The excitement on her face was pure warmth to Leere, her daughters smile vibrant and white.
The women thought about what it took to get to this moment. All the horrors and struggles she dealt with in her life, she got through them to find her happiness and a joy for life. Now she had a wife and child she adored. She’d sacrifice anything for them. Blowing a kiss to them, Leere smiled back as Sunny and Joy waved to them.
Sunny looked up to her daughter, who was amazed by the crowd that came to see her mother. “Your mom’s going to rock the stadium sweety.”
“She looks so cool up there!”
“She’s going to get even cooler.”
Leere felt all her confidence restored. She was going to perform for everyone here, but her heart specifically was going to play for her family. With a strum of her guitar, the crowd cheered. Leere grinned wildly to them. “All of Hyrule! Let me hear you roar!”
The spectators exploded in celebration. This was it. She started the evening with high energy rock, the music amplifying from the Zora speakers. The energy made the crowd bounce and, finally, Leere sang aloud.
♫ She’s a ten, hell bent, I’m in heaven tonight.
Six speed sex scene playin’ out of my mind.
One look I’m hooked, motor runnin’.
Wrapped up my heart started pumpin.
Are you ready for the best damn ride of your life? ♫
With a war cry, Leere unleased her spirit into the chorus.
♫ Give me a “HELL” Give me a “YEAH”
 Stand up right now!
Give me a “HELL” Give me a “YEAH”
Stand up right now! Get ready to go! She ain’t movin’ slow! She’s a takin’ control! Pushin’ the pedal through the floor. I’m beggin’ for more You better hold on tight! ♫ When Leere and her band screamed Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey, the crowd screamed it right back at them. She took a quick glance to Sunny and Joy, filled with wonder to see them so star struck. The lyrics were for her wife, but the thrill and performance were for her daughter. Leere was glad she could be the type of parent Joy would have no objections looking up to. With a blast of sound, Leere carried on the best performance of her life.

Authors notes! Hey everyone! Been a while! School season is in full swing again, so I don’t know when I’ll be able to post regularly again (regular for me at least.) Been thinking about how I want to go forward with my writing. I’ll do my best to finish what current WIP’s I have development currently, but I’m sure when I’ll finish them. What I can promise you, however, is an exciting new concept in development. As I previously announced, I’m part of the Ganzine. Can’t get into what I’m doing for that until its official release, but the whole project is inspiring to do a brand new separate AU on my own as a way to experiment with new ideas and characters. I hope to really get into it by December, and possibly publish them by the start of next spring if I can. So for now, I hope you’re all doing well, and here’s my link of this song to Leere.
I wanted to make a mini-fic to match the picture made by the wonderful Junior from @growingupgerudo, who can be found at their own blog, @trashcadash. The songs energy is incredibly powerful and wild, yet has a lot of fun in its spirit. I feel that this is Leere at her peak when she’s filled her soul with the happiness and love of others around her.
Her life has always been rocky, so her telling others, “Do you feel that? You better hold on. This ones about to get ugly. Hahaha” plays into her how she knows her background has put herself, and even others, in her past life in danger.
“Got a taste, gotta say I’m a junkie for life.”
Leere has always been drawn to her surroundings, wanting to fill the void she felt in her life. She’s done so with adventure, studying, archaeology, drugs, sex, killing monsters, and music. Most recently, she’s done so with genuine love, and stuck with it. It fuels her being. Sunny is a magnet for peace in her life, and Leere is head over heels for the Hylian.
The songs energy itself is her screaming that she’s going to live to the next day. That she can stand tall in the face of adversary. She’ll give a “Hell Yeah” to every challenge that comes her way.
