Omg hihi! I saw that you followed me back, and I love McAshe/Cashe. that's the reason I followed you. Ashe is one of my favorite Overwatch characters. I know their lore, but I need to read deadlock rebels. I'd love to know your headcanons, though. As an artist, maybe I can draw them. I'm working on a Cashe comic as well.

raised catholic (i like to think this because of her mardi gras skin), now atheist

you said you havent read dlr but there's a character named frankie that i like to ship her with as well (i call them lavenderrose) ((also i like bars & ashe together if you've read luck of the draw. they're cute))

i do hc her to have borderline personality disorder (maybe im projecting a bit)

she's born & raised in arizona dont let the texas ashe truthers get to you. if you follow the landscaping that's briefly mentioned in dlr it makes 0 sense for her hometown to be in texas

raised baptist (LIKE ME!!!), now agnostic

irish, mexican, & indigenous american descent

he's also bisexual!!!!!!!

he's a better cook than ashe but nowhere near as good as BOB. specializes in comfort foods

another character in dlr, julian, is his crazy ex Ok. Hear me out. HEAR ME OUT!!!!

he also has bpd & autism !!!!!

i like to believe he's born & raised flopping between new mexico & texas. his backstory is very mysterious but i like to believe his parents were killed either due to the omnic crisis or at the same time for unrelated reasons

i made a post about this before but in their deadlock skins they both have a bandana -- (ashe has hers wrapped around her knee, cass has his on his arm) -- i like to believe this is a callback & honor to each other from a scene in deadlock rebels where cassidy is shot in the leg & ashe is shot in the arm during a fight & i like to think they both have scars there

cassidy got his tattoo first because ashe was afraid of the gun. originally she got just the skull & print then added the roses & thorns a few years after they split

before cassidy was publicly part of overwatch i like to think ashe & frankie tried to keep tabs on him but couldn't due to overwatch's high security. they only found out what happened to him after him being an agent was publicized

as above, i don't think they actually got much of a chance to say goodbye. blackwatch was a very undercover org. so ashe most likely has no clue why he left, she's especially not aware of the fact that he left to keep the rest of the gang from rotting in a prison along with him.

they got hitched the second they legally could and are still technically legally married

YES!!!

I could totally see one of the consequences of Ashe choosing to stay with her parents in the Mirrorwatch Universe is that BOB gets fired. This being when Ashe realizes that her parents manipulated her and that she has made a big mistake.

And to keep on the the theme of Ashe joining Overwatch, BOB gets a job as security with Overwatch shortly after he's fired. So when Ashe joins Blackwatch they reunite and it's very sappy and sweetand Ashe eventually also goes into security work when she's not doing Blackwatch stuff. Also I 100% see this version of Ashe being more of a close ranged fighter, she's still primarily long ranged but she would be able to knock a person on their ass if needed.

Also, MW!Frankie joins Blackwatch too because I said so and she made Ashe's drones.

Indulge in the delicate flavors of lavender and rose with this creamy and aromatic ice cream. Perfect for a refreshing treat on a sunny day.

Ingredients: 2 cups heavy cream. 1 cup whole milk. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 2 tablespoons dried lavender buds. 1 tablespoon rose water. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Pinch of salt. Purple food coloring optional.

Instructions: In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves. Add dried lavender buds to the mixture. Let it simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature. Strain out the lavender buds. Stir in rose water, vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, and purple food coloring if desired. Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions. Once churned, transfer the ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.

Every year, I do a big Gelfling Oc Project. The past two years, I only asked IG because I see more Gelfling Oc posts, and it's kinda easier to manage the number of people than a post on Tumblr that can get pushed farther down my page.

12/15 slots have been filled, and I think 3 (maybe 5 if I'm pushing it) is easier to keep track than 15.

I don't start drawing this now, usually around October/November. So it'll be a while before it's done.

Two days ago, at the first day of autumn, I fertilized all my roses probably for the last time this year with an organic rose and flower fertilizer. Some of them have set new buds already and I hope the others will follow suit and all of them delight me with a beautiful autumn flush. Temperatures have finally cooled down here a little in Austin and that will certainly help. We desperately need rain, though, but my roses, of course, get hand watered until natural rain arrives. Are you also hoping to see your roses bloom one more time this year? The mauve/lavender rose in the picture is Sweetness, a stately grandiflora rose with an amazingly strong citrus fragrance that I grew in my old garden in Dan Diego. I miss her, sigh!
