Because I'm not short for drama (I'll explain later), here is Launë, amnesiac cleric of Eilistraee. He knows he died in the Underworld as a Lolth worshipper and his goddess ressurected him to show him the kindess she offers.

He remembers being born in the wrong body and being himself since he's with Eilistraee. He often sees in his memory a younger drow girl who watches him with admiration, she looks weaker than the others and he feels a pain tightening his heart when he remembers her

Yes, he's Sinrane trans older brother. In my story, he is not infected by the tadpole. He joins Jaheira to fight the evil in Moonrise towers, he's friend with Isobel. Sinrane immediately recognizes him and turns into grumpy cat mode, swearing to her group he cannot be trusted.

Launë was always the kindest of her siblings, but he was the one sent by the matriarch to kill her and nearly succeded. She still deeply feels betrayed, of course she refuses to say a word about their common past, just hissing when he tries to talk to her.

(Karlach is like "but he's your brother!!!" and tries to reconcile them. I also planned an emotional moment where Launë says he remembers the failed murder to Sinrane and confess he did not put the poison on his blade by choice because he hoped she would kill him)

Headcanon time :

It's the first time Launë and Halsin meet, when the Druid wants to save Thaniel. The cleric is here while Sinrane ventures in the Thorm's Mausoleum. He tries so hard to be helpful to her, even if she cold and hissy with him.

Halsin falls for this kind drow. For Launë, he thinks it's something new for him and he falls too.

Sinrane and Launë Aelvu’s quest : Traditions of the Underdark

Sinrane is the first you meet. She is in a hallway of the goblin’s camp after having slaughtered some of her jailers. She tells you she is not like Minthara and is a runaway from the Underdark. 

During a long rest, she tells you the Matriarch of her former House may send some killers on her chase, as she is a disgrace and shows you the scar on her neck. 

She makes snarky remarks when she sees siblings or if someone mentions that subject. 

At Last Light Inn, Jaheira tells you a cleric can help you with some supplies. 

If you go to a long rest, Launë arrives at your camp with food. In your party or not, Sinrane appears in the cutscene and her demeanor changes when she sees Launë. He recognised her despite his shattered memory, calling her little sister. She leaves with a cold voice affirming he is nothing for her. 

If you choose to go to him with Sinrane in your party, you will have a cutscene with her at your camp. She warns you to be careful because he cannot be trusted. 

If in your party, you also trigger the “You’re nothing for me” cutscene. 

Sinrane will refuse to be in the same party as Launë. 

She once wakes up from a nightmare, you follow her. She sits next to the water, her hand gripping the scar on her neck. When she sees you, she explains Launë is her older sibling. Their Mother sent him to eliminate her, but she killed him and left Menzoberranzan forever. 

Of course, Launë listened to the conversation. He comes next to the both of you, kneeling down and saying to his sister how sorry he is. Sinrane refuses to talk and leaves. 

Launë decides to tell you the few he remembers. Eilistraee, his goddess, brought him back from the dead; he knows the memory loss was a price to pay. But now, he can be who he really is. He just remembers young Sinrane, watching him with admiration, and hopes their relationship can be the same. 

Bad ending : Sinrane kills Launë as she is unable to trust him and is sure he would have killed her for their Mother. 

Good ending : You have to speak with both of them to have the whole story, to help rebuild the trust that was lost. They make peace with their past. Launë understands Sinrane needs space, they will never be close again, but the wounds are healing. Sinrane accepts he had no choice when their Mother sent him to end her life and that he did not poison the blade because he hoped she would escape.

Launë looking like a Disney Prince in his white armor. He will always help and try to do the right thing.

Honestly, Shadowheart's camp outfit fits so good on my man. Guess he's thinking about his shadowy memory.

The first bunch of adventurers

A murderous drow rogue with pink hair (Sinrane)

An amnesiac drow cleric who look like the murdered sister of the pink haired drow... How convinient (Launë)

And a high elf paladin of devotion who wander if her oath will survive the chaos (Selene) and the fact that her disaster best friend in on their track (Siurine)

The second merry band who will save the words

A young wizard Noble who was locked in a tower because of the idiot decision of her father (Astra)

A grumpy monk who doesn't need any wepon to kick ass (Himilce)

A tiefling bard that swears she did not start the fight. (Amaranth)

And a high elf warlock with amnesia, who tries his best not to kill his companions but none of them really helps him (Naxxar)

BG3 brainrot (may have spoilers)

Sometimes, I like that my ocs live the adventure together. My paladin Selene is the first protagonist, meeting all the companions, helping them and offering camp. But Sinrane survived also the crash, but was caught by bandits who then are in the ruins. And of course, it was a terribly bad idea to lock up a former Lolth worshipper drown in a cage underground surrounded by darkness. Especially when the drow is capable of everything to survive.

No need to say that Selene met Sinrane on a top of corpses, not the best first impression. But except for Wyll, the others think it might be a good idea to have her in their group of weirdos. Selene is weary, but Sinrane opens door without a drop of blood, only just a threatening look... And simply being a drow, Selene can feel her pain.

Of course they don't really trust each other during Act I. Sinrane fears Selene's oath might turn her blade against her. Selene fears Sinrane could betray them for her own survival.

They both learn to have more colors in the view of their world. Sinrane feeling proud when Selene stand by her side and both standing against Kagha. Selene seeing the drow making fun faces at the tiefling children, life is not in black and white, good versus evil.

They become closer, not really friends but not far. Selene sees the change when Sinrane sighs loudly when the elf and Gale talk about nerd books. Selene sees how Sinrane looks at Karlach, wants to hold her but take her hand away. She screams of happiness when they can finally both kiss. A little respite until Launë arrives, breaking the thin equilibrium.

Oh course, he doesn't understand why Sinrane is so pissed to see him, he doesn't remember her. But Sinrane remembers too well, her scar on her neck remembers too. But his brother is so charming, nice and kind now; she can't fight him. She can create a wall and hiss at everyone who want to destroy it. She hopes her brother won't follow, but life is a little shit sometime.

I'm finally at the same point with Launë and Sinrane playthourgh. So let's say the big brother is following his little sister while she is hissing at him.

Basically pissed off pink haired drow while his brother is helping her and charming everyone.

How to create a drama between Aelvu siblings

1. Look which one of your daughters is weakest and will bring shame on your name. Make her sure she knows how useless she is for the clan and their aspiration.

2. Order to your perfectly cruel older daughter to kill her sister. You've seen her being kind with the rut of the litter, your eldest need to be cured. Ignore every argument she throws you, your decision is made.

3. Wait patiently for the triumphant return of your favorite daughter with the head of the weak one in her hands. Aelvu house has no mercy for the weaklings.

4. Containt your rage when the patrol brings you back the body of your elder daughter, her eyes gouged out by rage and a dagger in her heart. And no word of your youngest, alive or not.

5. Erase Ailaunerra and Sinrane from the history of your clan. Throw the only body you have in the darkest depths of the Underworld, missing the silver haired shadow that falls after the body. Ignore the whispers about someone fleeing to the Surface.

6. The world erases them until they meet again in the Last light inn

I had insomnia last night and I let my mind wander in the deep seas of "What if my BG3 ocs were companions and had personal quest?"

Naxxar Thornstar : easy, Dark urge quest.

Selene Laeman : I suppose something with Oath of Devotion and the notion of sacrifice her own self to serve her vision of justice.

Sinrane and Launë Aelvu : Intricated personnal quests about their past in Menzoberranzan

Astra the Lonely : Saving her from the claws of her father, a powerful Noble.

Still need to figure about Himilce, Amaranth and Liora.

Saving Faerun team one

Selene Laeman : High elf, paladin. Always tries to see the good side of everyone, but will punch you if needed or if you attack her friends. Advocates. to always chose to be kind. It's one of the reason she is close to Launë.

Sinrane Aelvu : Drow, murderous rogue. Bickers a lot with Selene, but always put a dagger under the throat of people who try to hurt the paladin. Weary around Launë because his betrayal is still a fresh cut. She knows he had no choice but to obey their Mother.

Launë Aelvu : Amnesiac drow, cleric of Eilistraee, not tadpoled. Despite his memory loss, he remembers his little sister Sinrane, also remembering when she murdered him to save her own life. He feels close to Selene, because they are both kind and gentle.

Their interactions are a bit... chaotic at first. Then, they all learn the boundaries of the others.
