spence-tober: day 23 - sommelier
pairing: sommelier!spencer reid x fem!reader
summary: in which your friend's bachelorette weekend ends with the handsome sommelier's number in your phone
word count: 1896
warnings: alcohol, drinking, a woman (not reader) coming onto spencer
spence-tober masterlist
Unlike some of the other fellow women in the bachelorette party, you were grateful that your best friend, the bride, decided for a more classy approach for her bachelorette weekend.
Although, really anything would be more classy than renting male strippers in Las Vegas and wearing pink feather boas and fake plastic tiaras and getting hammered.
You had also agreed to take any blame for the complains of the other bridesmaids in the party for planning a chill weekend at a nice wine vineyard so your friend could get off scot free.
Perhaps it was the bad memories of vodka and tequila in your 20s that turned the both of you off a bachelorette in Vegas, but you were glad to indulge her wishes for a ‘classier’ bachelorette weekend.
It was just this morning that the whole party had taken a small shuttle bus to the vineyard about two hours away and you were glad to see the tension of your friend’s shoulders lessen as she stepped off the bus. The wedding planning had been hectic for her and you were just happy to relieve some of the burden by taking care of most of the bridesmaids dibacles. After all, you were her maid of honor.
Today on the agenda you had planned, you’d all tour around the beautiful vineyard that stretched on for acres and acres and then have a private wine tasting before retiring for the night to your own devices.
The tour had been absolutely stunning. Seeing the grapes on the vines, just rows and rows of crops for the eyes to see. Then you had seen the large wine cellars where it ages and some of the rooms with large machinery where it was processed and actually turned into wine.
You had picked this specific vineyard because it was on the smaller scale and would be a more intimate experience for your small group. The owners, Jennifer Jareau and Will LaMontagne, greeted you as you arrived off your shuttle. They’re not too much older than you despite owning and operating a small scale wine vineyard.
Your face burned with embarrassment when one of your fellow bridesmaids tried to flirt with Will and was glad when Jennifer didn’t seem too offended by her actions. She was soon warded off with the glimmering of the couple’s matching wedding rings and their adorable 5-year old son who wanted to help show you all to your lodgings.
Your tour guide, however, was not so lucky to escape the flirtations and comments from the rogue bridesmaid. Poor Spencer Reid, you thought quite often as he guided your group around the vineyard. The one bridesmaid was spurned on with confidence when some of the other girls giggled at her comments which were down right dirty.
How Spencer didn’t turn as red as a tomato when she commented about the sizes of the grapes on the vine and then grabbed them in a very very weird way is beyond you. Because you certainly lit up like a Christmas tree.
After finishing the tour, you were beginning to dread the wine tasting and how adding alcohol to the risque girl would be a good idea.
Luckily it so far seemed like she was a quiet drunk and instead left to flock to the rest of the bridesmaids’ sides for the majority of the wine tasting.
As your friends chatted over tasting a few glasses of red wine, you veer off over to the bar where Spencer, your tour guide and sommelier, was polishing wine glasses.
You understand why the bridesmaid was trying to get attention. The man was downright beautiful with his chocolate brown eyes and chiseled jawline. His scruff and wild hair only added to the handsomeness of the tall, slender, man.
“Hi,” You say, getting the man’s attention. You can feel your cheeks warming up with second hand embarrassment, “I just wanted to apologize for my friend over there.”
You point behind yourself to the table where she sits, quietly (thankfully) nursing a glass of red wine. “What she said is completely inappropriate and I understand if you don’t feel comfortable taking care of our group for the rest of our weekend here.”
He smiles at you, gratefully, “It’s okay.” Spencer says shaking his head.
“No,” You reiterate, “It’s really not. I’ll try to keep her away from you and manage her better. That’s really just how she is, but that doesn’t excuse her behavior.” You promise.
He doesn’t comment on your response but instead gives you a smile and puts down the cloth and glass in hand. “Can I get you something to drink?” He asks, gesturing his hand to the wall of wine bottles.
You shake your head, “No, that’s okay. I’m good for now.”
“You’re not a wine drinker?” He inquires curiously.
Shaking your head again, you answer, “I’d just rather stay sober. Make sure everything goes okay tonight and all.” You send him a nervous smile.
This was your first time being the maid of honor for anybody and you just wanted to make sure your friend didn’t have to stress about anything and that she would have a perfect time leading up to her wedding.
“Designated driver?” He guesses.
“More like maid of honor.” You correct lightly.
“Ah,” Spencer says, hands dipping underneath the bar, “So you planned this weekend, then?”
You nod, “Yep! I just wanted to make sure everyone had a fun time.”
Turning your head to glance back to your friend group, your cheeks burn a little in embarrassment when your friend and bride to be wiggles her eyebrows at you and throws you a thumbs up in encouragement.
Thankfully, Spencer was busy mixing up a drink in a smaller tumbler style glass for you and you hope he didn’t see the way your friend was making eyes at the two of you.
“Here, try this,” Spencer says, offering you the drink in his hand.
The drink is a bit bubbly and has a red tint, but is transparent in color and topped with a small sprig of what you identify to be rosemary.
You take it in your hand, but shoot him an inquistive look.
“It’s just club soda, cranberry juice, and a splash of lemon juice.” Spencer informs you, keeping his eyes on you as you take a light sip of the drink.
“Hm!” You noise in delight, looking down at the drink. “That’s pretty good. Refreshing.” You describe, “Why do you have so many mixers in a wine bar?” You question, non-accusingly.
Spencer shrugs and goes back to polishing some wine glasses, putting them back on a holding rack when done. “I used to be a bartender before JJ and Will opened the vineyard to tourists. When they book events, I can still work the bar.”
“So you’re friends with the owners?”
He smiles, like he’s thinking back at precious memories, “Yeah, JJ and I used to work at the same bar. Then they got married and saved enough money to buy a small vineyard. I didn’t want to bartend forever, people get rowdy and wasted every night. So they offered me a job and I took it.”
“That sounds nice.” You comment, then looking back at your friend group again. “But I’m sure you’re still around rowdy drunks every now and then.”
Spencer chuckles at your observation. “Not nearly as often anymore.”
You both laugh a little.
“You know, you didn’t have to apologize for your friend back there.” Spencer tells you, although a grateful expression remains on his face.
You shake your head in disagreement, “No, I did. I booked this weekend and I’m responsible for my group. If I thought I could get her to apologize, I would, but she would likely just flirt with you again. You shouldn’t be subjected to that when you’re just doing your job.”
“Well, thank you.” Spencer says genuinely, “It’s happened more times than you think.”
“Rich wine snobs?” You guess with a knowing smile.
He nods and a grin appears on his face, “Right on the nose. How’d you know?”
“I work in event planning.” You reveal, you take your finger and roam it about the rim of the glass as you talk to Spencer.
He’s propped up against the bar now done with polishing glasses. He’s leaned up against the tall wooden counter and you also realize you’re leaning forward as well. Spencer’s very tall, as he’s standing against the bar top he still towers over you as you sit on a bar stool talking to him.
As you are reminded of the reason you are at the vineyard, you glance once again back to the table of bridesmaids and see them having fun amongst themselves, mixing different glasses of red wine together.
You feel comfortable enough to leave them to their own devices while you talk to Spencer and feel yourself relax a bit not having to worry about the party of women.
“Oh, did you plan your friend’s wedding as well?” Spencer inquires.
You shake your head back and forth, “No, I usually stick to smaller events. Weddings are way too stressful. I’d rather deal with a rich wine snob over a bride or groomzilla any day.”
“Really?” He asks surprised.
You nod and confirm, “Yep, you would not believe some of the horror stories I’ve heard.”
The both of you share a laugh and Spencer leans in a little closer, but hesitates at first, unsure of himself. “Do you live in the area?” He asks cautiously.
You look at him with a slightly confused expression on your face, “Sort of. Why?” You answer vaguely.
He bashfully continues on, “If you’re looking for more work, JJ and Will have been looking for someone to handle the event side of the vineyard. They wanna focus on the wine production part.”
“Oh.” You can only find yourself saying.
“We’re a really small team and don’t have a lot of people full time here, but it’s good work and you’d really only have to come in half the time.” Spencer explains a bit more. Then he leans away from you, searching around the bar for a small cocktail napkin.
He pats his pockets until he draws out a pen and scribbles on the small piece of paper napkin, then handing it to you.
“Go ahead and enjoy the rest of your weekend, but, um, if you’re interested you can contact JJ or Will or, uh, me.”
You accept the napkin from him and look at it, intrigued by the offer. Limiting yourself to smaller scale events led to you usually being busy closer to holidays so it was a good offer. You couldn’t promise him anything yet, especially without talking to the owners, but you’d think about it.
“Thanks.” You say simply.
“And,” Spencer adds on, “just so you know, I wouldn’t be averse to getting to know you outside of work and all either.”
His cheeks and the tips of his ears redden as he looks down at the bar top. You steal a glance at his flushed face and then also steel your gaze downwards when he catches you staring.
Your rowdy friends eagerly and loudly beckon you back to the table and you leave Spencer behind the bar, but not before thumbing delicately at the corner of the napkin with his number on it.
a/n: this was hard to think of an ending but i hope this classifies as a meet cute? i originally ended this with him asking her out but thought that would be a tad inappropriate when he's supposed to be working so i changed it to be a bit more ambiguous. i have another blurb or hc in mind with this pairing so you might see it again...

i'll be home for christmas
summary | it’s your first christmas when your newborn and now your first christmas without eddie
pairing | eddie munson x fem!reader
warning | angst, fluff ending, eddie is a simp for his wife and baby
word count | 1.5k
“Can you try to put the star up, bubba.” Your eight month old baby, Liza, was in your arms with the Christmas star in her hands. It was the first weekend of December and that was the time that you and Eddie would decorate for Christmas.
Though you weren’t tall enough to reach the top of your overly large tree you chose this year, and Liza’s arms were still so small, so the star ended up on a branch, a couple inches from the top.
“Good job.” You cooed, Liza babbled, pointing towards the star. “That’s right.”
The house was quiet, Eddie was the second leg of the tour for Corroded Coffin. It was his first tour back since Liza was born. After hearing that he would need to leave the day after Thanksgiving, for 3 months it broke your heart a bit.
Hearing the phone ring, you set Liza down in the living room, with all her toys around, keeping an eye on her as you answered the phone.
“Hello.”
“Hello.”
“Hey baby.”
You melted at the sound of Eddie’s voice, and though he was only gone for a week, you already missed him. If you were correct, he was in Las Vegas for the second night.
“Miss you.” You whispered, “I set up the tree with Liza and got her to put up the star.”
“That’s great honey.” His voice was wavering. Eddie hated being away from you and Liza. Since she was born, you could tell that it changed his whole world. “God, I wish I was there.”
You didn’t know what to say, starting to change the subject, “You get any photos with Begas showgirls?”
When you heard that the band was gonna be in Vegas, you started teasing about unleashing his inner rockstar hoe phase, something he completely denied because he had a beautiful wife and daughter.
“Yeah, totally.” He said sarcastically, “Went up to them and told them all about you and Liza and how I wanted a picture to put up on the fridge.”
“Oh my god, really?” You were just beaming at this point.
“No.” Deadpanned.
“You’re no fun.” You giggled. “I wish I could stay on the phone, but Liza is about to put something up your nose, love you!”
Eddie kept the phone to his ear even after you hung up, slowly bringing it back down. Going back to the bed, he looked at the photo of the three of you that he brought into the hotel when they checked in the night before.
It was Liza’s one month old party, something that your family did, a way of letting everyone meet the baby for the first time. Three of you were all color coordinated and Robin had snapped the perfect photo where Liza had her eyes open and was looking at the camera.
Looking back at the tour schedule, their last stop before Christmas was in Nashville, about 5 hours away from Hawkins. Eddie went back and forth with the band’s manager, Zack, trying to reschedule the Nashville show so the last show would be in Indianapolis and he would just take a bus back to Hawkins.
Zack loved you, he remembered how when he first met you, in the Hideout way before the band had any stardom. He could see how much the two of you were in love and how you were basically the band's manager before he came along.
“I wish Ed.” Zack sighed, “It’s too late to cancel and reschedule.”
Leaning back in his chair, Eddie looked up at the ceiling not wanting to cry. “Yeah I get it, I’m gonna turn in.”
They’d be on the road to Nashville tomorrow, only a mere few days before Christmas. Zack was able to send all the places they were staying so you were able to send a few photos to the hotel of you and Liza all geared up for Christmas.
It broke him when he saw the matching pajamas the two of you were wearing.
Coming into rehearsal when they reached Nashville, everyone could tell he was out of it. He was grumpy throughout rehearsal, getting into heated arguments when anyone who was willing to talk to him negatively.
Zack couldn’t help but feel like it was his fault. He always listened to Eddie talk about you and Liza constantly, saying how much you missed being away from the two of you especially during the holidays.
Being able to pull some strings, Eddie was able to switch some dates after Christmas so Eddie and the rest of the band could go home and spend time with their families.
Coming back into rehearsals, after getting off the phone with the rest of the management team, Zack saw Eddie getting into a screaming match with one of the people who controlled the lights.
“Eddie man!” Zack exclaimed, pulling Eddie away from the stage. “Let’s go out and take a breath!”
Pulling him outside, Eddie let a frustrated scream. “Fuck!”
“Hey, hey.” Zack grasped Eddie’s shoulder softly, “I know you want to go home and I couldn’t cancel the Nashville show but I was able to reschedule a few tour dates after Christmas.”
Eddie’s face morphed from anger to shock, looking at his manager.
“The next 5 tour dates have been rescheduled for after the new year, so after Nashville, we’ll drive up to Hawkins, hopefully we’ll be there by Christmas Eve and we’ll leave for North Carolina on the 8th, about 2 weeks with the family.”
Eddie could cry, saying nothing, he wrapped his arms around Zack, squeezing him tightly.
“Thank you.” He said sincerely.
Now he needed to tell you, he wanted to run to the nearest phone but once the rest of the band heard the news, they all said they should surprise everyone.
By the time the concert had started, Eddie was giddy, making it clear to everyone in the audience that by that time tomorrow he’d be home with his wife and daughter.
When Eddie didn’t call after the show, something you didn’t mind, knowing how brain was after any show, but when he didn’t call the next morning you were starting to get a little worried.
Soon it was noon, and still no word.
“Zack.” You said the manager’s name. “Is Eds okay, he hasn’t called.”
“Oh I’m sorry honey.” He said sincerely, “The guys went out for drinks last night, and they didn’t come back til god knows who, he’s probably sleeping, let me go check on him and I’ll let him now to call.”
Letting a sigh, knowing that he wasn’t in danger, you said a quick goodbye.
Christmas Eve, and here you were, worried about Eddie. You were sad, but you didn’t want to cry in front of Liza, though she was still little you could tell that she was grasping quickly onto her emotions and yours.
“Let’s hope daddy is gonna have a good Christmas, just like us.”
You were in the kitchen, Liza perched on your hip as you started to make her bottle when you heard someone knocking on the door. “Hmm, Auntie Robin might be early.”
Unlocking the latch, you opened the door expecting to see Robin ready for the playdate.
“Oh my!” Your hand went to cover your mouth, your eyes wide. Eddie stood on the porch, all in his glory. “What are you doing here?”
“Couldn’t leave my girls on Christmas.” He smiled, tickling Liza’s stomach, letting out little giggles, before wrapping his arms around you.
“Oh, this is amazing.” You could cry. Bringing your other hand up to his cheek, letting you caress his skin, you leaned up kissing him softly.
Feeling left out, you felt someone tapping on your cheek.
“Do you want kissies baby.” Eddie smiled, placing his hands under Liza’s arm, getting her your grasp, peppering kisses all over your face. “Dada missed you.”
Coming back inside, you couldn’t believe that he was home.
“How did this happen, what about the rest of the tour?” The three of you were cuddled on the couch, an old Christmas movie playing in the background softly. Since her dad came home, Liza was hyper to be with him soon passing out after her last bottle.
“Zack scheduled the next couple tours after the new year so the band could go home. The past couple days were rough being away from you even though we just started the tour but I didn’t want to miss Christmas with you two.”
“Well I like this present.” You smiled, snuggling into his chest. Resting your head on his chest, your eyes start to flutter softly.
Looking down, Eddie saw you and Liza now both passed out, both of you resting on him. Running his thumb over Liza’s forehead, Eddie leaned down to press a kiss to the crown of your head.
All the concerts, all the tours, nothing could compare to being home with his girls.
fin.

We're in Vegas!
Warren Rojas x Fem!Reader
✧.* requested by anon — Could you please write reader and warren getting married in vegas whilst drunk and on tour with band?
✧.* summary — You guys were passing through Las Vegas with the 'Aurora Tour', and decided to have the full experience of the place.
✧.* warnings — none.
✧.* word count — 3.1k
✧.* 🥁 — Warren's masterlist
✧.* mandy's notes — So, I knew very little about Vegas before writing this, all I understood from research was what I brought to the fic, sorry if I got something wrong. I just know that I loved writing this one and I hope you do. Good read 🫶🏾
Touring was chaos but it was an incredible ecstasy at the same time, making music was already amazing for you and the band but seeing the fans reaction was perfect. You had two shows in Las Vegas that weekend, the end of the second was now and you felt the vibration of the audience's screams invade your body, as you walk to the front of the stage to thanking the crowd for an amazing night, you feel Warren's arm around your waist as yours drape over Daisy's shoulders and together you bow to all the fans.
"You nailed it cariño” Rojas whispers in your ear as the audience claps and screams in delight at the amazing performance.
“Thank you.” You say back, giving the crowd a final goodbye before heading backstage.
When you all meet among the stage equipment, it was possible to still feel your bones shaking with the adrenaline of what you just experienced. Eddie walks over with a couple of shot glasses in hand handing it to each of you.
“We're in Vegas! We have get drunk before we even get to the party.” Eddie exclaims, drinking his shot afterwards. “Today's show was crazy, we haven't had an audience like that since when? Brazil?”
“Right? I mean, that was insane…” Warren lights a cigarette, taking a drag and offering it to you afterwards. “I'm pretty sure I saw a girl in the audience lift her shirt up for me.”
“Excuse me?” You say, crossing your arms above your chest with arched eyebrows.
“Nothing hermosa, I was only looking at you.” He holds you by the waist, placing a kiss on your temple. You pat his chest lightly, leaning into the thoughtful touch, feeling his mustache tickle your skin.
The bus where you were headed to the place that Rod had rented for you to enjoy, approaching the place you could see the security guard who used to accompany you, collecting the matches that you distributed to those who you'd like to have at the event. When the bus parks, you don't take long to get off and enter the place, illuminated by several lights and several people who don't take their eyes off you as soon as you enter.
The atmosphere is electric, charged with an eclectic mix of music and laughter. The venue is alive with the vibrant pulse of a Vegas night, and the band's presence adds an extra layer of excitement to the party.
The overhead lights cast a warm and inviting glow over the scene. Multi Colored spotlights dance across the walls, creating a dazzling display that matches the energetic beats of the music. The air is thick with the scent of anticipation, a blend of perfume, cologne, and the faint aroma of the party's refreshments. Whispers and sideways glances follow you, an acknowledgment of your status as performers.
Faces both familiar and unfamiliar turn towards you, expressions ranging from curiosity to admiration. Cameras capture the moment as guests try to discreetly document the presence of their favorite rock stars. Sometimes when it was just you and your friends you forgot how famous and relevant you were, which took you like an avalanche every time you saw your fans like this.
You feel Warren hold your hand as you enter the place, her body always feeling at home with his touch. You look at him and smile, he sends you a smirk as he guides you to the quietest place in the room where the rest of the band was hanging out.
“The lovebirds are here, here, two more shots for you.” Karen says getting up from the sofa, dancing as she hands glasses to your boyfriend and you. “Eddie said if we don't stagger out of here he's going to be so disappointed, so drink it up!”
“With pleasure” Rojas takes the two shots and pours them in his mouth, after swallowing them he takes yours. “Take the shots, my love”
You tilt your head back, the glass pressing against your lips as the liquid spills forth, igniting a warm trail down your throat. The sensation is invigorating, a tangible connection to the vibrant spirit of the night. Karen's applause seems to punctuate the climax of the shot, marking a triumphant transition into a state of joyful abandon. Warren cheers in time with her “¡Dale, cariño!”. If you watched Eddie sitting in the armchair next to you'd see a smile grow on his face because he knew that when Rojas started to get drunk he started to speak in Spanish.
As you took more shots, sang, talked and smoked, your perception of reality emptied and the fantasy and alcohol breeze took over your senses. Gradually you did things that made no sense, laughed like goofs and left and nothing else around made sense except you didn't care.
“Oh my God, what's that on your face?” You exclaim, holding Warren's head, looking right into his eyes. “Ah, never mind, that's just Fernando.”
Warren looks at you speechless, you couldn't tell if it was because he didn't understand what you said or because of the drinking and smoking, but then he frowns half closing his eyes.
“I hope you don't find this strange but.” You say with a slurred speech, Rojas continues to look at you with interest. “I named your mustache, it's called Fernando.”
His eyes widen, and you could swear you saw him fill with tears, he takes his hands to your cheek kissing you intensely. You are taken aback by the act but reciprocate, feeling the intensity build within you as their lips danced together.
“Y/N L/N, you're the love of my life.” He says breathless, you open a huge smile.
“Agh,You are worse off than newlyweds.” Eddie says while smoking his cigarette. “Get a room.”
“Oh my God Eddie! You're a genius!” Warren speaks, standing up from the couch at once, looking at the sky as if he had a great idea.
“Am I what, now?” Roundtree seems to snap from a dream, looking at Rojas trying to understand what was going on.
“We should get married.” Warren turns to you, and somehow you sober a little by his word.
“What?” Your body freezes when you notice that he didn't seem to be joking.
“I mean, we're in Vegas!” He says taking her hand. “And I love you, so why not?”
“Rojas, I swear to God, if this is some kind of joke…” You didn't imagine that any of this would happen, nervousness consumed you as the seconds passed.
“Hey babe, there's no way this could go wrong.” He says with a giant smile, holding his hands next. “Even if I'm drunk as fuck right now, I won't regret it because I know you're my person. I love you, are you willing to do this crazy thing with me?”
“You're crazy!” You say patting his chest in disbelief.
“And you love.” He shrugs.
“You bet I do.” You respond, wrapping your arms around his neck, feeling his curls at your fingertips.
“Does this mean you guys are getting married?” Karen asks, trying to follow the conversation.
“Yeah Karen-Karen, and you are my bridesmaid.” You say pulling her hand to start a celebratory dance.
Eddie talked to approximately twenty people at the party in search of anyone who knew any place where you could put that idea into practice, after a few conversations a woman informed you that the hotel had a space just for this and that you only had to wait a few hours for it to open. So you decided to prepare the decorations.
“Are you sure this is a good idea?” Graham asks when y'all stop at the door of Billy and Camila's room.
“I'm just calling in a favor! These two had me taking out all my drum lights to decorate their impromptu wedding, the least they could do is help.” Rojas says, as if pointing out the obvious.
“He's right!” You say shrugging, then knocking on their door incessantly.
Billy opens the door with his hair messed up, his eyes still swollen from sleep, from his angle it was possible to see Camila leaning on the bed trying to see who it was.
“The fuck are you guys waking me us up so early for?” As usual, he was grumpy, you roll your eyes… you weren't a fan of Billy at all.
“Go get dressed, you and Cami.” Rojas speaks by touching the older man's shoulder. “We are getting married tonight.”
“Fuck Warren, alright.” Billy closes the door after his speech.
“Oh, I thought he'd ask something.” Warren points out.
“I think at this point he just agrees with everything we say so he won't have to listen to it anymore.” Graham says, making all of you nod in understanding.
“So, what's our next step?” You ask, laying in Warren's hug.
“You don't have to do anything, leave it to us.” Eddie says, putting on his sunglasses even though it was still dark. “You're the bride and groom, all you have to do is relax until it's time for the wedding, so please go to your room and don't come out until I get there.”
“Are we allowed to sleep?”
“Will you hear when I knock on the door?”
“I can't promise that,” Warren says.
“So only naps are allowed.” Eddie says pushing the two of you down the hall. “See you at the altar!”
“Is it just me or does he seem more excited than we are?” You whisper to your now fiance.
…
You hear the knock on the door from the bathroom, your hands go to the doorknob but you are interrupted by the drummer's voice.
“Cariño! What do you think you're doing?” He yells, thinking that you couldn't listen to him well.
“There was a knock at the door babe, are you really going to lock me in here?” You lean against the wooden object, watching your tidy figure in the mirror.
“You know I can't see you before the wedding, that's simple wedding stuff hermosa!” You laugh at the way he expresses his "frustration".
“What am I supposed to do then?”
“Wait for me to leave and then you can follow me.” His voice was muffled, you knew him so well you knew he was running his hand over his mustache. “Nos vemos en el altar, hermosa.”
“I'll see you there.” Your heart warms just thinking that in a few minutes you would be married.
As you step into the grand hotel ballroom, the first light of dawn paints everything in a soft and delicate glow. The large windows filter the early morning sun, casting a warm embrace over the space. It's as if the world outside has paused to watch this moment unfold, holding its breath in anticipation.
Your heart flutters with a mix of excitement and wonder as you take in the scene before you. The drapery hanging from the high ceiling billows like silken clouds caught in a sunrise breeze, creating an otherworldly ambiance. The walls are adorned with cascades of flowers in shades of blush and ivory, their petals kissed by the dawn's gentle touch.
A feeling of enchantment fills the air, and your gaze is drawn to the altar at the center of the ballroom. It stands like a portal to a realm of dreams, framed by arches entwined with ivy and twinkling fairy lights. The soft carpet of rose petals beneath your feet feels like a path paved with love and promises, guiding you toward a new chapter in your life.
You could see all your friends sitting in those chairs, your heart raced as you noticed how worn out they looked just to try to make this special, it was clear that tiredness was present there on account of the crazy night you guys had, but none of that mattered as your eyes met his.
As you walk down the aisle, the wooden dance floor beneath your steps seems to reflect the shifting colors of the sky. It's a journey bathed in a soft, radiant light, every step bringing you closer to the love of your life, Warren smiles at you, you knew that he was too hyperactive to sit still and it was adorable to see his callused hands drumming his leg.
Rows of chairs line the aisle, adorned with fluttering ribbons that seem to dance with joy. Daisy was definitely trying her hardest to stay awake, Eddie was the ring bearer standing at the end of the hall waiting for you to get to Warren to hand over the rings, Graham was probably still with the effect of drinks and his teary eyes were evident. Camila and Billy looked the most sober in this whole situation. The hushed conversations and exchanged whispers create a symphony of warmth and love.
The tranquility of the dawn's embrace mingles with the excitement in your heart. Time feels like a gentle river, flowing in harmony with the emotions that surge within you. The world outside the ballroom fades away, and all that remains is the profound connection between you and Warren.
Warren stands at the altar, a vision of strength and tenderness. His eyes lock onto yours, and a warm smile graces his lips, reassuring you that you're exactly where you're meant to be. Dressed in a tailored suit that exudes sophistication, he embodies the promise of a future built on shared dreams and unwavering love.
As you approach the altar, you're drawn into a world where promises are made and dreams take flight. The delicate morning light wraps around both of you, a silent witness to your love story unfolding in this sacred space.
When you finally settle down in front of your fiance everything goes into slow motion, were you really doing that?
“This is exactly how I dreamed it would be.” Warren claims, holding both of your hands.
“Oh really? You always dreamed of us getting married in Vegas, all of us clearly drunk, me wearing Daisy's stage dress as my wedding dress, Eddie being our ring bearer.” You pause for breath, looking once more around you. “Daisy falling asleep at every word, Graham crying like a baby and... Wait, where's Karen?”
“She realized that this marriage wouldn't be complete without something...” Eddie speaks, adding suspense to his speech.
“Aw, how sweet of her to bring us a gift.” You supposed that's what Roundtree was talking about.
“Oh no, we forgot to get the ceremonialist.” Eddie explains, scratching the back of his neck. “We found out we had to book or something, I don't know, I am really drunk.”
“Yeah, exactly how I thought it would be.” Rojas says, pretending to adjust his tie.
A few minutes later the blonde enters the ballroom with another man, who is quick to position himself in front of you and the drummer, he was clearly very angry at being woken up at this hour.
“Ladies and gentlemen, dear friends and cherished guests, we gather here today in the heart of Las Vegas to celebrate a union that embodies the spirit of love, spontaneity, and shared dreams. Before us stand Y/N L/N and Warren Rojas, ready to embark on a journey of togetherness and endless possibilities.”
You didn't know if it was still the alcohol, but you thought the man's choice of words was funny, and when you peeked up to look at Warren you could see him holding back a smile, probably thinking the same. You smile, feeling that you were marrying the right person.
“In this moment, you stand at the threshold of a new chapter, ready to walk hand in hand through the adventure of marriage. This journey is not just a destination but a lifelong exploration, a promise to cherish, support, and uplift one another through every twist and turn.”
Although excitement is not the word you would use to describe the ceremonialist, his words were touching and made you think of all the moments with Rojas.
“As you exchange your vows, know that the vows you make today are more than just words – they are the foundation of a love that will weather every storm and celebrate every triumph. May you continue to inspire one another, to uplift each other's spirits, and to stand as each other's greatest support. You may now share your vows”
“Oh man, okay.” Warren takes a deep breath, probably trying to focus on just you. “Y/N L/N, you make my heart beat, I'm completely in love with you since I had the opportunity to spend more time by your side, I'm sure no one in this world can surprise me as much as you do and make me understand on a daily basis that I need to be grateful for sharing life with you, in any way. I don't know how you put up with all this craziness today, but I want you to know that I would live tonight forever.”
You feel the tears fall from your eyes, taking a deep breath so you don't break down in front of everyone.
“Warren Rojas you are one in a million. I can say with certainty that my longing for something in my life was fulfilled when I met you.Someone who makes me feel like life isn't real because I would never deserve someone so adorable and amazing, you are the definition of Joy. I love you with all my heart.”
You hear applause around you, probably this wasn't the time for celebration but your friends were too lost to understand everything. Eddie brings out the rings as "Aurora" plays in the background, you smile thinking that they probably don't have any record options other than yours.
“Y/N and Warren, as you exchange your rings, let them be a symbol of the unbreakable bond you share. Just as these rings are a circle with no end, may your love be a circle of strength and endless compassion.”
You can feel chills as the speech nears the end, your hands in his were shaking and he made a point of stroking your hand with his thumb to comfort you.
“And so, by the power vested in me by the state of Nevada, I am honored to pronounce you husband and wife. You may seal your union with a kiss.”
He leans in with a giant smile on his face, you grab his cheeks urgently and kiss him vigorously and happily. Far away in the crowd you hear a camera click but think it was Camila, all of them instantly cheer for you. And by the end of that kiss, Vegas became eternal for you.
...

I'm curious about your theories though 👀
fuck it why not. I'm gonna list these as I believe to be most to least likely, but also as a disclaimer it's 7am and I haven't slept so like my logical thinking ain't at it's best rn lmao
option #1: Olli and Aleksi were both sick. knowing they couldn't play the show even if they went to Reno, they took the unplanned night off to go to Vegas.
option #2: I cant shake the voice in my head that reminds me that I thought they were gonna have a day off anyway because the tour announcement post on their insta doesn't list Reno in the first place. what if they were never supposed to play that show, but due to some miscommunication they were listed in the event info and expected to play a show that was never part of the plan? idk it's just weird to me that they ended up skipping the exact show that wasn't listed.
option #3: they left LA early enough to make it to Vegas before sunrise. now this theory has some bumps cus couple of Niko's tweets from last night seem to imply they spent the night out in LA but also Niko is a drama queen and I would not put it past him to say they were partying in LA while actually being on the bus on their way to Vegas lmao.
I had a 4th one about only Joel going to Vegas but Niko's post just debunked that one
