The fastest way to his heart, not going to lie. The first time you made him lunch, he was a little surprised that you went through all the trouble to make him something, but honestly, he doesn't mind. It beats starving until going to the Eatery. Especially because today had been extra hard on him, he would want nothing more than to see what you've made.

With the Box sitting in front of him do you remember is vaguely that you told him that you weren't the best cook Larry wasn't exactly a picky eater but he did wonder what kind of food you packed in this box maybe simple sandwiches? Bento boxes are a hot thing in Johto and Sinnoh, So perhaps a meal from those regions? Larry couldn't hardly wait anymore neither can his stomach just thinking about the kind of food you pack for him was making him hungry. Has he opened the box his mouth open slightly blinking twice not the best cook of his ass... this look like it took hours to make!

That rice with seaweed has a Starly's face on it?? With sandwiches with juicy chicken breaded that looked like it was cooked to perfection nice and golden brown with Crispy lettuce and melted the bun was toasted. With would you look at that not only you recreated his favorite meal to order at the Eatery but by the smell it looked like it had some kind of filling... boy he can't eat this he just feel bad ruining such artwork no matter how hungry he was.

"Oh Shit." He heard a familiar voice as Rika just so happened to pass by stealing a glance at her coworkers lunch. Stopping dead in her tracks before pulling up a chair to bother him during his lunch. Larry was one of the most disinteresting normal routinely person she knew. If something changed about Larry's everyday life even if it was minor. Something must have happened, and Rika was ready to know every single juicy detail she might have missed. And it didn't stop at just her soon enough she called Hassle over as soon as her brain clicked that Larry might have a special someone, then Geeta seeing her co-workers gathered around their financial advisor wanted to know what was up, when Rika whispered the news the Top Champion had to cover her mouth to hide her big smile. Then Poppy who was with Geeta was already asking a million questions about this Secret love interest.

Poor Larry who just wanted to he does lunch already felt a migraine coming... why was everybody so interested in what he was doing outside of work? He just saw Hassel get up to grab a tissue to wipe his tears?? As his coworkers watched as Larry opens up another half of the Box a note slips out from the bento.

When he opens the note Rika leaned over his shoulder to read. It was just a small piece of paper telling him to have a good day and that you loved him and to please enjoy all the hard work she made only for him. Larry closed the paper almost as soon as he opened it a slight blush appearing on his face which was the most emotion Rita has ever seen him with. The receptionist smirked "Oh? How sweet~ Gonna bring her here one day and have us meet her, yeah?"

After the crowd of his gawking finally left him alone too enjoy his lunch. He let out a sigh as he thoroughly enjoys every bite of your delicious cooking with a small smile. Larry was truly in love not only taking time out of your day to prepare something like this for him but how talented you were at cooking. Regrettably, he hadn't taken a photo of the cute neatly packed bento box before he started digging in, which he'll make sure not to forget in the future.

When he returns home from work, the first thing he does is thank you for the food and kisses you. (If he hasn't done that already)

Larry does hope you continue making delicious lunches for him though he would never Force you or tell you especially because you put so much love and work into each box you make for him.

If Larry was a good cook he would make dinner for you but he'll just stick to taking you out to places that you like has proper thank you then whatever Bland, tasteless food he makes.

Okay guys, we're on the honor system not to reblog this one, it's a vent post about fandom stuff, sort of Pokemon specific due to the catalyst but also it's broad, just move along unless you want to hear me complain for forever.

I feel like Geeta Pokemon is like...the perfect encapsulation of why I don't engage with fandom spaces pretty much ever.

On the mild end, it's just how much is shipping stuff that I don't like. I know I will sometimes click with a pairing, but generally I'm just not that interested in shipping stuff. This is entirely personal and not really a problem, but it's such a huge chunk of general discussion that it's hard to feel like there's a clean entry point when that tends to be where people start. And yes, I'm sorry, this does mean I don't care for Geeta/Larry or Geeta/Rika, I don't really ship Geeta with anyone, it's just not a thing I gravitate toward.

But on the worse end it's just...okay I'm finding out how to turn off reblogs, honor system over.

Geeta discourse is just insane. We're still on about how her fight is bad, or she's a bad boss for (insert innocuous thing about having a job here), or some other character or design flaw that's just asinine or trivial. And the most recent catalyst was someone complaining that there was obvious foreshadowing for Evil Geeta, but the DLC didn't capitalize, which is just...you are in another world. Like you want to vilify her so bad, and for what?

And like, I realized I have never really seen any proper dissection of Geeta as a character, really. It always seems to be these sort of weird accusationally toned posts, then the defensively toned posts about "nuh uh" and little else, or like...fanart that seem disproportionally suggestive of her specifically for some mysterious reason. And not really any actual analysis of her character. Like the most I've seen recently is one post just making the fandom standard assertion of "X character is autistic/(insert sexuality or gender presentation here)," but also stating "don't ask me how it's just vibes."

And maybe this is also a me problem. It's an innocent enough headcanon, people can generate that interpretation for the representation they want however they please, but like. Has anyone ever really noticed there's never an explanation to these? Like I'm not asking for much, but what in their presentation rung true to you that you made this interpretation? Was there anything, or are you conjuring it from thin air? I personally don't care for the readings people do with Red, but there's at least stuff they will point to and go "that," but it feels like there's never anything substantive to these posts. It's just words. You don't even need to engage with the actual character at all, you just say whatever you want and either it doesn't need an explanation because it's just a headcanon or what's used as evidence is just...wrong. That's why we have takes like Geeta being a bad boss or a weak champion, because people took a general gut feeling, examined nothing, and made an assertion based on made up nonsense. And it makes the experience of just looking in a fandom's direction frustrating, because it's not that there's nothing, it's that there's negative value; you took away the parts that were good to just...fuck, I don't even know half the time. To try really hard to vilify a woman of color? Because her vibes were off or something? And this is just Pokemon! This is narrative Easy Mode because there's barely shit there! I cannot imagine what it would be like if I took to the fandom fields of something denser and more thematically salient in earnest. I see occasional Dungeon Meshi posts float by that make me think I am so blessed for not talking to fucking anyone outside of my followers about this one.

I know none of this is new. I know others make these complaints too. I even know that at least some of this feeling is a bit of arrogance as far as "my interpretation is the correct one." But also I've been feeling sick for days and am coated in sweat despite feeling freezing cold and am very cranky over it so I need to bitch about something else for a minute. Vent over.

once again, i want to stress the fact that i'm fine if rp partners ship adult age gap pairs, but it's really not for me, it makes me deeply uncomfortable, and all i ask for is:

don't actively show it to me in any form, art, writing, or otherwise (meaning don't discuss or show me things abt this in private conversation)

don't try to argue with me or use ''but my parents have a x age gap'', or anything of the sort. people IRL can do whatever they want as long as they're consenting adults, no comments on that front, but the examples listed in that section of my rules are NOTPs that make me deeply uncomfortable/give me anxiety because of personal things related to the very fact that there's a very wide age gap present, among other things i won't discuss here

(and before you argue that 'larry ain't that old' for whatever reason, larry is canonically described in pokemas as middle-aged, which means he's somewhere between 45 and 65, old enough to make me uncomfortable in the context of a ship between him and a younger person such as rika or geeta.

While Larry wasn't exactly sure the sort of training Morty often put himslef through, he had become accustomed to hearing about the aftermath of injuries whenever they found a spare moment to talk over the phone. This was one of those rare moments where Larry was able to visit Morty as opposed to the other way around, and while he was technically there for work, he had plans to stick around a day or so after the other officials had left to 'follow up' with members of the Johto league, or in other words, spend more time with Morty while he could.

It was meant to be a surprise, one that had been dashed by Geeta, no doubt, with her needing to give Johto a 'heads up' on everyone that was going to be flying over, despite the group being the same one that traveled to every region's leagues. Or maybe he was just being bitter, assigning blame where there was none to be found. It didn't matter in the end, so long as he got the chance to see Morty.

Finding him bleeding wasn't exactly how he was expecting this visit to go, but that was the very state he'd found his...Morty in.

"What am I supposed to do, leave you here?" He had a feeling the answer would have been yes, should he be someone else. "Besides, I owe you one from the crater, remember?" Taking Morty's face in his hands, Larry tilted his head to the side to better assess the wound with a stony gaze, his expression so unmoving, it would perhpas be obvious to the other man just how forced it was.

"Doesn't look too bad...can you walk? Or do I have to carry you like a princess from this tower?"

also, kind of just thought of a thing where the last moment in Nikey’s life if he’s ever killed, a glimmer of his old self shows and is allowed to exist without being masked, his lasts words likely being akin to Flowey’s own in the genocide route.

Side note: I know theres barely any context for this besides what I know but I think Larry would enjoy what Fuse has put Nikey through in DTDF because spoiler alert, it’s not pleasant! :D

Nemona:

Nemona, since most of the events take place in the future, is old enough to work in the Suns of Paldea.

She works as a captain and is training to become a major, the youngest military officer in the Suns of Paldea’s army. (This is going by American/Unovan military ranking rules.)

She also does Top Champion work on the side for the rich trainers who still can do their “Pokèmon Journey.”

She also helps the other members train their Pokèmon for the front lines.

With all of the work she's given herself and the situation at hand, she's been extremely stressed.

Has one of the closest ties to Geeta for battle plans and training, and by extension sees Larry a lot.

His team is one of her favorites to train because all of them are so enthusiastic to fight, more than any of the others she's trained, she doesn't know why. (We all know why.)

Having barely any emotional awareness, she almost is always the last one to see Larry’s emotional shifts as odd. Because of this, Larry sometimes subtly manipulates Nemona to make the timeline go how he wants.

Nemona thinks the time loop theory Larry has makes some sense, but she's more interested in battling and helping Geeta than it.

One of the first major people to stand up to his killing sprees, think of her as being in a role like Papyrus from Undertale.

Hassel:

Hassel works as a General of the Army (the highest rank given to U.S. soldiers.)

He helps Nemona with her training and gives her advice to be a better leader.

Hassel is probably one of the closest to Geeta when it comes to work often being in charge when she's somewhere else.

He and Larry are also extremely close, they've been working with each other since Larry’s first day stepping into the league building.

With this comes immediate awareness and being the first to know when something is off about Larry, which gets on Larry’s nerves.

Even with this, Larry always tells Hassel about the theory first and will tell him every single loop with his strategy to get one person to know about the loop faster.

Hassel tries to listen to Larry’s struggles and help him in any way he can. He's the one to back him up if arguments get heated.

Larry always kills Hassel last before chasing Nikey or Mikey down during killing sprees whether it's at his detriment. He's failed many runs because of Hassel, but he isn't mad about it.

When he does have to kill him he gets emotional and starts regretting his choices. He still sometimes regrets killing him all those times and the regret hasn't gone away. He is in the role of Sans Undertale.

Hassel is his last chain tying him down to reality and not doing endless amounts of torture to the people he despises. (Other than Nikey, he's still in trouble.)

Is this Hassel x Larry propaganda? Yes, yes this is. (I know Hassel x Brassius is the OTP but let me have this.)

Rika:

Founder and Director of the Paldean Intelligence Service (PIS, haha so funny.) Basically the Paldean version of the CIA.

She manages the division and liaison relationships with other regions making her essential for forming and securing alliances.

Helps Penny improve her leadership skills and cooperation with the rest of the division (I don't think Penny needs help improving her programming skills.)

Rika is the closest to Geeta because of information relays, meetings, and generally being close friends. (As historians will say, but I proclaim this Rika x Geeta propaganda!)

Rika is also close with Larry for the same reasons as Hassel but is not as close as he is.

Rika does listen to Larry’s theory mostly to try and get information on Team Night Sky. She dismisses most of it as Larry getting too stressed.

The first major person to step up to Larry, or more like the one Larry wants out of the way first. With access to the intelligence, it makes his sprees much easier.

Geeta:

Founder and President of the Suns of Paldea.

Oversees everything and is Paldea’s representative during regional conferences.

Has close ties with all of the major positions and is respectful to everyone in the organization.

Tries to make life in Paldea better for its inhabitants and to get rid of the economic gap that is endangering a lot of people in the region (Takes some leaves out of Winona's book going by @mewintheflesh-2 headcanons.)

Is close to Larry and is the second to know, either on her own or by Hassel telling her out of worry for him, much to Larry’s dismay.

Dismisses the entire theory, she's too busy to be worrying about a time loop. (She should be worrying.)

Geeta is the one to go before Hassel during the killing sprees, mainly as a scale of how strong he gets at that point, think of it like Mettaton NEO.

Larry is the most excited to fight Geeta and let his frustrations about her bad treatment out by giving her a beautifully gruesome death.

That's all the characters I have for now! This took super long to make between food and the tears. 🥲
