A Looking In View
Ship: Recorder (Skibidi Toilet S/I) x Large Clockman
Rating: Gen
Synopsis: Recorder gets invited to a party.
Word count: 1,606
One of the only days of peace of the year happens to be today. The Alliance is gathering together, collectively, for a day of peace. Everybody is looking forward to a day where war needn’t be raged, at least just for now. A day to focus on friends and family, those lost in the efforts to fight against the ever monumental threat the Astro Skibidis possess. Despite how heavy the veil of uncertainty hangs across the world, tonight the sounds of merriment peal throughout the facilities the various Alliance factions inhabit.
Speakermen, Cameramen, and Clockmen all mingle, both between their own factions and with others. They reminisce about hardships shared, battles waged and those they’ve lost. Camaraderie is strong tonight, as is the air aloft with the scent of spices and warmth. Outside, snow falls against the Alliance grounds. What’s left of human civilization are carefully watched over by sentries to ensure no surprise invasions can come to harm anyone. This is supposed to remain a safe bastion of humanity after all. A few friendly Skibidi Toilets mingle in as well, offering their peace to the partygoers.
A particular sentry, however, prefers to favor ignoring the merriments. He’s not quite one for celebrations, and the gathered crowds are somehow massive. They dwarf him, and so the sentry prefers to busy himself organizing his database of recordings. Compiling them all into neat stacks, by names and dates recorded. The most recent ones are left out to be gone through again, and older ones are set aside in a neat archive. The sentry’s gloved fingers drag over the physical casing of a particularly dusty copy of records, and he lets an exhale shake from his biomechanical body.
The records of his old life, kept shelf stable, although untouched for a while. It surprises him how quickly things gather dust around here. The sentry stares at the thick tome, lost in thought. It hasn’t been that long since he’s been converted to a biomechanical Alliance member, in truth. The sentry had grown tired of life as a human and wished for a new lease on life. But he still carried the baggage of his past with him, refusing to share in his burdens with another.
Let bygones be bygones, right?
An eager rap against the door leading into his office startles the sentry from his stupor. He quickly shoves the tome away somewhere and turns his attention to the door. As the door opens, he is greeted by a couple of his fellow cameramen.
“Hey, Recorder! Come out of your office for once and join us!” One of Recorder’s fellow colleagues begs. This is Elisha, as she prefers to be called. A camerawoman who works as a field medic, using her expertise to stitch up wounds on the go if a clockman isn’t currently present. Elisha and Recorder are indeed friends, but Recorder prefers to keep his distance from others. He sighs and dismissively responds with crossed arms, “Sorry guys, but the boss really needs me to go through my recordings tonight. No partying for me.”
Recorder is well aware what he’s saying is a bold-faced lie. If he had a real face he’d grimace. But perhaps the saving grace of having a recording system for a head and not an animate face is precisely that he can’t emote well. The sentry’s guilt bites like thick bile in his stomach, the feeling unpleasant. And he knows his colleagues are already catching on, just from his stand-offish personality.
“You’re just looking for a reason to avoid people,” another cameraman replies. Said cameraman sets both hands on his hips and gives Recorder a sassy glance. “Come on! You can always go back to work later.”
“Hey, your boyfriend is gonna be there, Recorder~” A third cameraman teases the sentry lightly, earning a balk in response.
“He’s not my boyfriend,” Recorder sputters. “We’re just friends. I don’t even think he likes me the same way I like him.”
The man in question? Large Clockman. A mysterious, but friendly individual, who happened to be in the right place at the right time a few months ago. Large Clockman saved Recorder’s life, and is the reason why the sentry still lives this day.
Out of nowhere, Bernard appears. A Large Speakerman, he barges in and proclaims that Large Clockman happens to be looking for Recorder.
Recorder stiffens and stares at Bernard. “Where the- how did you-” The sentry stutters in perplexion.
Bernard and Large Clockman happen to be best friends, leading to Recorder being friendly with Bernard by proxy. It was bound to happen.
The Large Speakerman rests against the doorframe cooly. “He’s wondering where you’re at. You should really come out with us.”
The fact that Large Clockman apparently is asking for the sentry’s presence is enough for him to drop the façade. Recorder finally relents, grabbing his cane before stepping out of his office to walk with the group. He keeps to himself while the rest chatter amongst themselves, preferring to stay quiet.
Bernard practically drags the sentry half of the way there, after Recorder stops further behind the group. He’d unsuccessfully attempted to slip away while the rest were distracted. The Large Speakerman’s grip on Recorder isn’t excessive, but it is still tight. Recorder definitely won’t be leaving anytime soon on his own.
“Why are you so nervous? If this is about Large Clockman, you don’t need to worry!” Bernard chirps, imploring Recorder to pipe up about what’s on his mind. “Come on, he’s your friend. We’re all your friends! Just try and find some way to enjoy the party. We want you here with us, Recorder.”
The sentry sighs, and grumbles. “It’s not about him,” he starts. The man only hopes Bernard will believe him. “You know I don’t like parties, or crowds. I can hear the commotion all the way from my office, and I have it soundproofed.” Recorder then quickly adds, “It’s nice you guys wanted me to come and join you though.”
“Well, you’re not going anywhere until the party’s over,” Elisha grabs Recorder in a side-hug, supporting the sentryman as they walk together. “You’re stuck with us, buttercup! But if you do happen to get overwhelmed, I can take ya back to your office, okay?”
~•°•~~•°•~~•°•~
The party within the shared headquarters is beyond bustling. It’s akin to a frantic festival, with crowds of people hustling and bustling, humans and biomechanicals alike, mingling with each other. The smell of spices is even more pungent here, and the warmth is shared within the crowds of partygoers.
Recorder timidly waves greetings to any who attempt to grab for his attention, as his friend group darts about here and there. He feels stifled amongst the sea of people, and eventually loses his friend group in the joyful chaotic revelry. Looking around, he feels panic set into his body, and immediately begins regretting his decision. The sentry sighs, thinking about how he really should not have allowed himself to be dragged out here so easily. If Bernard hadn’t shown up, everything would have been fine. And honestly, he could care less if Large Clockman asked for him to show up! Or any of his friends! He was doing just fine keeping to himself in his office, after all! Hmph.
Recorder finds a way to slip amongst the crowds, wriggling his way outside to stand on a snow-flecked balcony. The cool, dry air whips against his coat and he sighs. The chill relaxes his synapses, circuits cooling rapidly in the much calmer environment he now finds himself in. He leans against the metal railing, staring up across the frosty city and at the sky.
The click of a door nearly shocks his attention away, and he braces for possible contact. Although, Recorder is far too nervous to take a look behind himself to see who just came to interrupt his solace.
A large hand, bigger than his own, gently pats the back of Recorder’s shoulder. Surprised by the touch, it forces Recorder out of his mulling, finding himself face to face with probably the one man he totally didn’t want to see tonight.
Large Clockman signs, “I didn’t realize you were here. How long have you been here for?”
Recorder shrugs giving a cool response in hopes that absolutely nothing seems off with him at the moment. “O-oh, uh, not that long!” He replies anxiously. “Lost my friends so I kinda… came out here to chill.”
Large Clockman nods, and joins Recorder in his pondering. The sentry can’t help but focus on the quiet tick, tick, tick of Clockman’s mechanics, finding the sound somewhat grounding in some way.
“Lot of people in there, aren’t there?” Large Clockman asks. Recorder nods sheepishly.
“Hah, uh, y-yeah. Sure are.” The sentry replies. He takes a glance at Large Clockman, having to crane to look upward. Recorder’s viewfinder snaps a shot of Large Clockman framed against the gentle snowfall and winter moonlight, cradling the photo a warm memory in his circuits. His heart thrums at the closeness the two share in the moment, but he finds himself lacking in anything useful worth saying at the moment.
Large Clockman himself turns to look back at the cameraman standing next to him. He signs, “I’m glad that you came. We should probably go inside before we start worrying people.” He stands fully, offering a free hand to Recorder to take.
The sentryman hesitates for a moment, before agreeing. He takes Large Clockman’s hand in his own, and the two stride back inside together.
Maybe coming to the party wasn’t such a bad idea after all.

Silly 5 facts about my ocs thing, inspired by @thephonemenarentreal
About to go to bed, so a lot of these are gonna be half coherent and rushed, also not 5 facts, but as is life
Right
- relies entirely on echolocation. He doesn't use any cameras or light-receptor technology, as any cameras he mightve had were long since broken before he lost his memories, so all he knows it echolocation. This means he can't read, see colours, or write. Reading anf writing are partially because that info was corrupted and nobody ever thought to reteach him it.
- he gives anyone he's close to a sort of nickname. It's just a short series of sounds he associates with them that's used as a nickname. Something like an instrument they play paired with a click of their lens, or something similar. Being given a sound nickname from Right is pretty much him saying "Ok, I trust you." to whoever it is
- he rattle when shaken. He just has so many knives stashed on his person, and no maintenance for his gear, so a lot of the knives are literally just duct taped directly to the inside of his suit jacket or something. So when he's shaken, those knives tend to rattle. Plus there's probably a lot of dirt and stuff in his mechanical parts, so thats an extra added rattle.
- sort of has claustrophobia. I say sort of because if he's able to see/hear the exit, it doesn't matter how small of a place he's in. But a fully enclosed space, especially one that echoes and with lots of background noise, can easily send him into a panic if he's spooked by something else first.
Venustas
- I've mentioned it recently, but his two hobbies are model house/diorama building, and watching old WWE/wrestling stuff
- refers to themselves using plural pronouns (we/us/our), only started doing it after the infection. Even they can't really explain why, but some of the medics think that the infection caused security protocols to activate that quarantined parts of their brain from the infected parts, giving Venustas a temporary sense of "being" more than one person. This has since stopped, but the lasting effects of the experience caused Venustas to continue using plural pronouns.
- related to this ^ another odd speech habit that is from the trauma Venustas went through is his tendency to pause mid-sentence. For example, "Hello, how.. are you? We are doing quite well.. today." This makes them sound ominous at times, and creates misunderstandings often. ("Never talk to us again.. while wearing that.. shirt.")
- lost his antennae while infected. They were snapped off at some point and he refuses to have them replaced.
David
- he's was blackmailed into a cult. I may expand on this eventually, but just know he's not having a good time. (Related to a friends ocs)
- has his entire day, week, month, and year meticulously planned out, and is distressed/annoyed whenever that schedule/routine is disturbed
- fully trained medic! Though his studies leaned towards the software side of medical stuff, he can still stop someone from dying in a pinch.
Felix
- made to be a sort of adult entertainment version of Chuck E. Cheese. The company that made him filed bankruptcy just as the war started.
- trained to be a demolition expert in the Alliance
- wanted for murder (he insists it was manslaughter, but he still ran, so. The Alliance assumed it was murder, even if it wasn't)
- has a flock of pigeons he feeds and cares for :)
Doomsday (who I don't know if I've even introduced properly)
- exists in one, single timeline/universe. An anomaly so impossible that she has only ever came into being in one universe out of the infinite ones that exist.
- fully grown, will be about the same height/size of the large clockman
- has a punk teenager phase.

Another Story I made
Chief Clockman and Alarm Clockman were on a boat ride, not knowing that before them was a large siren and her mermaid daughter swimming through the ocean.
Tumblr media
Unfortunately The boat hit some floating debris and Chief Clockman was accidentally knocked off the boat and into the sea, leaving Alarm Clockman panicked and worried for Chief’s safety.
Tumblr media
Roselle ended up finding Chief unconscious but still alive at the bottom of the ocean, curious about what she’s seeing, she took the unconscious clock back to her lair.
Tumblr media
When Chief regained consciousness he saw that he was now inside a large bubble and then he saw her, she swam around him and observed him.Chief was a little scared at first but after realising that Roselle saved his life and wasn’t going to harm him he calmed down and let this gentle siren take care of him for the time being.
Tumblr media
Meanwhile Alarm Clockman drove the boat around in a panicked state looking for Chief, praying that he was still alive, eventually he found Chief, alive and well on a nearby island, looking a lot happier than he was before the trip.Alarm Clockman helped Chief back onto the boat and they went back to the base.

It's me again, I still have the question of how the alliance, the mimics and the human would react to the Clockmen and Drillmen factions, especially the Titan Clockman and Titan Drillman, how would the human feel about the two new factions? how would the mimics react to seeing the Drillmen? how would the alliance act around the Clockmen and Drillmen? and how would the titans feel about Titan Clockman and Titan Drillman?
This is like the fourth time I've asked, I'm just not good at being patient.
Camron would be surprised at seeing such units. How interesting! The clockmen are able to bend TIME?! That's so awesome!! The drillmen are really cool too!! They can dig really fast and their sneak attacks are valuable to the alliance! It's so nice to have more alliance members join the war effort! The titans are also pretty cool! The big brass one looks like a knight and the driller is a pretty sturdy fighter! He can appreciate them! DJ would find the clockmen really sick! They also dance similar to speakermen and the big clockman is a total homie! The drillmen are also pretty cool, but a little more serious than the clock faction. They're also pretty damn good at digging surprise traps! Impressive! The big clock titan is also really awesome! A golden titan with the ability to stop and reverse time?! Wow...and the drill titan is pretty cool too. Why is it so short, though?? Vee respects the clockmen and the drillmen equally. They are very powerful allies and they are useful in preventing certain things from happening. The clockmen and Tvmen are also particularly close to one another, so it would make sense that Vee would appreciate their faction admirably. Both titans are marvels in his eyes and each one has his respect. Buddy is curious about the clockmen and the drillmen. How strange...new factions? Their abilities are paramount and their skills are equally as amazing. But that brings into question...where are their mimic alternates? Pal is excited to have more allies to visit and communicate with! The alliance is like a very big pack that just keeps getting bigger! The clockmen are rather nice...though, Pal isn't a fan of alarms too much. Still, the coo-coo clock makes such silly noises...and their large clockman isn't that bad either! Drillmen are kinda hard to pinpoint, as they primarily travel underground. Still, Pal can feel when they're around...and overall, they're nice folks! Fiend is skittish around the new units, as their powers are pretty...well...powerful. The clockmen makes him wonder how they got the ability to stop time itself and the drillmen are even noisier then the speakermen! At least they didn't spin up and "hiss" when they have to talk! All the mimics are nervous around titans, but would find the big guys similar to the others. As long as you respect them, they respect you. The human however thinks all of them are freaking AWESOME! The ability to stop time and the ability to burrow underground for sneak attacks!? SICK!!! The human also loves their clothes and style! It's amazing!! THEY HAVE TITANS TOO!? AND THEY'RE SO COOL!? The human is in mechanical heaven.

Finally! Clockman and his mirrors ^^
Funny fact: All* pair mirrors these are two bodies under the control of one personality. [ this pair — one personality, another pair — another personality. * — The exception is titan and two large mirrors, they're 3 different personalities 👀]
they don't have names yet, but I often have problems with that hah. And here very comfortable community, I'm happy and grateful 🥹👉👈
[ maybe it's worth creating a separate tag for my mirrors 🤔🤔🤔 but which... ]

Do you know about Skibidi Multiverse from DOM studios? Many of the analyzers(ISO, Elite Camera, and Mobi) have had cameos, and JustCozy was featured in the last episode.
YES I am honestly absolutely incredibly insanely legitimately sooooo ill over Large Clockman/Clocktower they are so babygirl coded and I would romance the hell out of them

okay, I didn't succeed in the VK group, so I'll throw some art here from there. There are modified cameraman here (I then decided to draw them so if they had the strength of some skibidists), clockman (drawn based on my fan fiction, please, I didn't steal the idea from the multiverse(( next, Tain, my uncle, well, TV-03, or large TV man, for whom I am responsible in aske, maybe later I will throw my last answer here. I immediately apologize for the grammar and any mistakes, I write through a translator

「 ✦ 💌 ɪɴᴄᴏᴍɪɴɢ ᴍᴇꜱꜱᴀɢᴇ જ⁀➴ ᴍᴇᴍᴇ ꜱᴏᴜʀᴄᴇ ✦ 」
❝I really hope you don't break into a musical number – this isn't the time nor place for it,❞ glimpsing at the mechanical henchman our dearest Robotnik has sent after them for the umpteenth time, Sonic was surprised that someone got to him before he could even notice anything amiss. It was his realm and yet, lately it felt as if he was disconnecting from it ––the connection was going flimsy & being unable to see everything in the schoolhouse made him feel on the edge of thorns & spikes–– he wasn't sure if the appearance of other-him had anything to do with it, but he was glad someone was there to have his back, ❝our music lesson is only two hours away, so keep your musical spirit sealed for now, if you can.❞
Lifting up the clockman ––did Robotnik ever give his creations names they truly wanted to hold?–– he was looking for any signs of conniving plans; bombs, mind control devices, large bodies of water, anything & everything that could trip up the hedgehog, but he couldn't find any evidence of malice on his being. Could it be that he arrived of his own merit to extend an olive branch? That was somehow doubtful, but the lack of traps seemed suspicious, only evidence from the fight are traces from what his twin has left to butcher its algorithm (as it seemed like the only way he knew how to stop anyone), ❝what was he doing when you caught him, anyways? I don't believe you would have jumped him if he was just making another innocuous clay figure.❞

If you remember the slumber party, this is what happened after dancing the tickle fight:
It was time to sleep but no one could sleep so l4rge-spe4kerm4n started playing a calm song that put everyone to sleep including me
(I confess that l4rge-spe4kerm4n's music is very powerful and very relaxing)

It's to the bedroom for these two! After hefting up her large haul up the stairs and bumping her room door open Vivi set the larger clockman on her bed. Whew! A tiring trip but worth it for the reward! "Now then I believe there's a bit of catching up we have to do Lew. And you know the best way to go about it?" Get ready Clockwork! Vivi leaps off the carpet ready to implant herself on top of him. "By cuddling!"
The whole way up the stairs, Clockwork keeps his grip on her gentle but secure. He’s a bit worried that he may make it a little harder to climb, but he’s on standby to soften the fall should he need to. Luckily his little BooBerry has always been amazing. As mighty as she is tiny even, and they make it to their destination without incident. Which is apparently, her room which good golly, is it really okay to take up her space? Oh goodness, is he even clean enough to be on the bed? Is his cloak dirty?!
Discreetly moving to check his cloak, Clockwork reminds himself to breathe. He then panics when he realizes his boots might dirty up her bed more than his own person. So, in a total suave and loud Ticky fashion he works them off and sets them aside. Now then.
“Catching up huh? W-well, it has been a bit I suppose, and I... I have missed you very, very much my little BooBerry. So, I’m totally down fo—oh! Dios mio!!”
Quickly leaning forward, Clockwork moves to meet her half way. He’s a bit surprised by the sudden jump, but it makes his heart feel warm and his monitor beep softly nonetheless. Once he has her in his arms, however, he decides to fight war with war...
And without warning he is pulling her in to his chest, settling her along the top of him. He also moves to stretch his legs out to cushion her in on both sides, effectively hugging her with his entire form.
“Cuddling sounds great love, but oh dear. It looks like you were the one who should have been ready hm?” And now he is giving her a small, playful grin as he wiggles his fingers at her dangerously.
Oh how the turns have tabled. Clockwork is a master cuddler, and Vivi? His cuddle prey.
((SO ALSO, THE WAY I THOUGHT I HAD ALREADY RESPONDED TO THIS. I AM SO SORRY I AM JUST A TIRED BEAN))
