Being that anon from the turtleneck ask and being also European, yeah, it's embarassing to go out when ppl will be in pyjamas, u gotta at least go out in nice jeans (as u said) and a tshirt, be presentable xD at home we do change in more comfy clothes, sweatpants etc and we wear slippers, no shoes allowed inside and especially not on the bed (that's atrocious) so TJeffs certainly had a cultural shock during the first weeks in France

He probably did!! I think he’s always been very fashion conscious and most of the stuff he wears just stands out no matter where he is (magenta velvet suit lmao) but yea he probably had to retire the athleisure when he was in France.

I hc that Laf was supposed to help him adjust to France while he was there but Laf didn’t teach him shit because he got so excited over Thomas’s southern accent and strong sense of USA-ness🦅 and wanted him to keep it that way (also bc Parisians won’t talk to you unless your accent is perfect so like why bother)
