Notes on a meditation i've just done with Hecate:
I saw her in an amethyst cave, dressed in her veil and beautiful jewellery. She told me many a things that helped calm me about my stressful situation at work. She held me so gently, and caressed my head.
Afterwards, lying in bed, basking in her greatness, she held me, soothed me and told me: "No matter how afraid you are, I am always with you" and man if that didn't make me cry a little.
I love Hecate with all my heart <3

Orphic Hymn to Hekate
Hekate of the Roads, lovely dame,
Of Earthly, watery, and celestial frame,
Sepulchral in saffron veil arrayed
Pleased with dark ghosts
Who wander through the shade
Persian huntress, world’s key bearer we hail
On the rough rock to wander thee delights
Leader and nurse, be present to our rites
Propitious grant our just desires success
Accept our homage and the incense bless
Guide our fortunes, gift us with your grace
Daughter of Perses, mistress of silence
Goddess of moon and clairvoyance
Wanderer of the wilds, ever leading
Dogs and deer, and tides receding
Please hear our prayers, help us to be wise

While i hate present holidays. The fucking signs i get
Last year i got a glass ball with a cat in (before i knew i was gonna become a witch and polythiest) and shadow work and witchcraft and tarot for free.
This year imma have a new amethyst crystal ball. The holder is 3 bastets. That was not the statue i intended to recieve for her but im seeing a pattern. I also got witchcraft and demonology. I got the mooncycle too. My fucking birthstone. Unfortunately the world seems to love giving me white sage which i cant use as far as i know.
Ive been seeing lady hecate more. Bastet and lady hecate. I grew up loving egyptian history..
I also got and apollo and i think a diana statue, a book on cloud spotting. A goblet. Bastet and artemis have goblets already. This ones green. I got a few ither witchy things too. I dont hide the fact i love mythology and am a witch BUT MY MOTHER DIDNT KNOW ABOUT ME NEEDING A STATUE FOR BASTET (AND IM GETTING ONE OF GAIA) AND I PLANNED TO GET A AMETHYST CRYSTAL BALL AND A HOLDER .
The books were in a giant list and she had so many to choose from. Owls. The last kingdom ect. SHE CHOSE THE CLOUDSPOTTING AND DEMINOLOGY and 1 other normal book.
I hate her usually but she really does know me too well. And its a second year i get a gift of witchcraft and cats.. both bastet and hecate revieved altars this year (so did many other greek ones and 2 norse like the twins).
Should i take this as a sign atp guys..
(Oh also did a poem on ra,gaia and i think 1 other earlier this year + grew up loving nature)

Happy Night Of Hecate 🌙
Happy night of Hecate for all who celebrate ! it's the 16th of November over here in Australia so I'm not sure if it's the 16th for anyone else, but if it is, go do some worship!! dance in the name of our Lady, look at the moon, put out a plate of fruit and honey for some of your local wildlife ! (that's a very common ritual on this night), charge your crystals, put out some water to charge in the light of the moon, have fun, do what helps you feel most connected to our lady <33 I love you all dearly, have a good night <33

Tell one random thing about yourself then go on anon and asks your 5 most favorite moots this!
I am currently looking into Paganism although almost everyone on my page probably already knows that rn. 💀 its been very fun so far, never knew there was a word for my beliefs.
Currently I am reading Drawing Down the Moon by Margot Adler. And then maybe I’ll do research into certain deities, such as Lady Hecate and Lady Aphrodite. Hecate is actually the reason I was drawn to Paganism at all.

Hekate’s Deipnon
February 2024
Khaire Temple Guests, thank you for visiting us today!
Tonight is Hekate's Deipnon, and in honor of this we wanted to share some information about this Holy Day. Additionally, a post explaining how to submit and leave digital and e-offerings can be found here.
What is Hekate's Deipnon?
"... at its most basic, [Hekate's Deipnon is] a religious offering meal given to the Titan Hekate and the restless dead once a lunar month. Ancient Athenians held that once a lunar month, Hekate led the spirits... from the underworld up from Hades. It is also the last day of the month according to the lunisolar based Attic calendar used in ancient Athens. Where the time of the dark moon was seen as the in-between liminal time between months." - Wikipedia
Hekate's Deipnon takes place the day before Noumenia, on the night of what is referred to modern astrology as the 'New Moon'.
This Holy Day is regarded as a time for purification and cleaning before the start of the new lunar month, as well as a time to honor the dead and the underworld. Purification of the self and the home, as well as settling personal affairs from the previous month are all traditional; and considered to be auspicious activities to partake in on this night.
Why Hekate?
"Hekate (Hecate) was the goddess of magic, witchcraft, the night, moon, ghosts and necromancy." - Theoi.com
Depending on your sources, Hekate's name may come from the Greek hekatos meaning "worker from afar" - or it may come from the Greek ekate phosphoros meaning "bringer/giver of light”. In either case, Hekate is closely aligned with the veil between the overworld and the underworld - and is an incredibly liminal goddess. Her domains include magic, witchcraft, the night, moon, ghosts and necromancy (source: Theoi.com).
With all of this in mind, it becomes clear as to why Hekate would be associated with the night before Noumenia, when the veil is thin and darkness is abound.
How to Celebrate Hekate's Deipnon?
As mentioned before, Hekate's Deipnon is a time for purification, cleansing, and honoring in the dead. If you are physically able, Hekate's Deipnon is a great time to cleanse either your home - or your ritual spaces. This is also a great time to, if you are physically able, take care of your body (i.e., showering, having a wash day for your hair, trimming finger and toe nails, etc.).
Outside of cleansing, it is traditional to place an offering of food on your altar/shrine during the day. Then, at night, you should place this food outside at a three way crossroad. This could be a literal crossroad on a path or road, or a liminal crossroad where water, air, and earth meet. Two examples of the later are 1: A rock or raised earth in a river or stream or 2: A bridge that crosses over some kind of body of water.
Traditional food offerings include:
Eggs (Raw or Hard Boiled)
Leeks / Onions
Garlic (Whole, Cloves, or Powder)
Incense
(source: hellion.org)
Some practitioners will alternatively or additionally set aside a plate during their evening meal with a portion of the food served. These offerings should also be placed at a crossroads.
Lastly, it is important to make sure that any promises, promised offerings, or oaths that you have made during the prior month are fulfilled before dawn. This will allow you to enter Noumenia with a clean slate.
We hope you have found this post informative and helpful, please feel free to direct any questions or inquiries to our AskBox and we will endeavor to answer all queries in a timely manner.
Eirene, peace and farewell.

Grieving is so different now that i have Lord Beelzebub and Lady Hekate in my life.
A few years ago, i lost a close friend to suicide. It was the most painful loss i had experienced.
A month ago, i lost one of my closest friends to cancer. I don't even know how to tackle in words how huge this painful emptiness is.
However, now, i have an outlet to my grief. For releasing all this love for her that has nowhere to go. I have mantras and prayers to pronounce when i need to talk about my friend but am not able to get out the words.
We made a memorial corner for her in our uni. We planted an olive tree in her name, a way for her to stay physically in our lives.
Every morning when i come to uni, i go and sit with the tree and talk to Lord Beelzebub and Lady Hekate and to my friend.
Everytime i go and sit with her tree, without fail, there is a bee waiting there for me. No matter how many time this has happened, it still makes me tear up.
And today, i was asking of Lady Hekate, Hekate Phosphoros, to be my friend's guiding light wherever she is.
Later in the day, 3 things happened:
First, as i was crying and spiralling about her while in the car, for some reason, my brain went "you need to look out the window right now." And i saw how beautiful today's moon is. It snapped me out of my thoughts. I took a picture for myself because i cherished this moment. And only a couple hours ago, while going through my pictures, did i notice the entire picture. I didn't even see the crossroad lights when i took it. (First pic)
Second, after this, i was browsing the recommended songs of a rock playlist i have on spotify, when i got recommended a pretty interesting artist. When i went and saw their songs, i was so stunned to see one of them was called Crossroads of Hekate when none of the rest of their songs mentioned any other deity or entity. (Second pic)
And third, something absolutely crazy happened. I revisited one of my old instagram accounts. On it, i follow very few people, so the home feed is made of only them. So i saw a recent post of the sister of my friend that i lost to suicide. I thought in my head that i am glad she is able to slowly get back to life. I wanted to check up on her. So i clicked her profile, scrolled down mindlessly in her posts. And i saw the caption of one of her posts. I stared shocked and just... happily hoping, that maybe, she too, found solace and strength in Hekate. I hope so. From the bottom of my heart (third pic)
I hold these moments so, so, so incredibly dear to my heart. I can't even describe the surge of emotions that swell in me whenever instances like these happen.
So after all of this, i finished my night routine since i wanted to turn in because i was tired, so while i was packing my stuff for the next day, i burned some incense, prayed and recited some mantras, talked to her and thanked her immensly.
