.。.:*☆ It was very much possible that Unicorn already stood there for hours. Like a statue, her violet eyes fixed onto the horizon. Wind was playing with her hair, which was bascially the only sign that she was actually living, and no statue, at least. Even her chest was only rising very slowly when the former unicorn had to breath. Almost impossible to notice with the eyes of a human.
However, even when it was not noticable from the outside, there was panic raging within Amalthea. Because as breathtaking as the scenery was, it was not home. It had only taken her a moment to realize that this was not home. That she had lost the connection to ber beloved forest again. And, not only that, she was human again. Human. With every minute that passed, Amalthea could feel this body growing older. The magic within her would fade and then she would just die, and...
Maybe it had been the panic, but from one moment to the next, Amalthea found herself on the ground. Her breath was going more heavy now, and.... and she just kept laying there, on the grass, just as if Amalthea had forgotten how to move her body and to get up onto her feet again.

.。.:*☆ "I am sorry?" Amalthea knew that the woman sometimes had a pretty... colourful language, to say at least. With terms and phrases she had never heard of before. And yes, Amalthea was trying. She was trying, because, what else was there to do? She was trapped in this city, and this body, forced to live a human life. So, maybe it was time to accept it. And try to adapt to it, if possible.
"We have been a huge family back home. But I have never felt the wish to.... how did you word it? To strangle the lights out of my siblings?" The words sounded odd coming from her lips, and the former unicorn almost felt like they were dirty. Like she had said something bad. Purple eyes like endless pools glanced at Saoirse for a silent moment before Amalthea then continued to speak. "And, if you love them like you say, then.... were does it come from? The urge to want to hurt your brothers in that way?"
Open Starter || Saoirse O’Farrell
“do you ever just want to strangle the livin’ lights outta your brothers?” the irish woman huffed, a hand on her hip, the other running through her hair, clearly distressed. her family was never really the normal type. respected, sure, but sometimes she wondered if it was only because no one wanted trouble with them. saoirse could hardly blame them, she didn’t want the trouble either. “i mean, don’t get me wrong, love them to pieces, but jesus, they’re gonna put me in the ground.”

.。.:*☆ "Yes, I do get you. I do think this city is a very strange place, as well." Would people passing by think she was mental with talking to birds like this? Maybe. But, Amalthea did not care. They usually made better friends than most of the mortals she'd encountered, after all.
Since it was a nice day, she was having a coffee in the park - not really understanding the hype about it because it was very bitter - when a pair of birds was landing on the table she was sitting at.
"But, at least you can fly away and leave if you wish to, right? Oh, I really would like to have your wings now as well, little friend. Then I could fly away and be free again...."

“C’mon, we’d look cute together.” (Tabris for Anyone)
.。.:*☆ "And.. that is something you wanted to achieve?" Even with her fake memories, all those.... things mortals were doing, were often still very foreign to Amalthea. Like, yes, she knew about friendship. Family and love. The other unicorns had been her family. Molly and Schmendrick had been her friends. But Amalthea had no idea what looking cute together had to do with that, really....
So, she looked at Tabris again, trying to search for the right words. For the meaning behind this statement. "Or is that, wel... just your way of telling me what I should go and actually buy this dress?"

.。.:*☆ Amalthea still was not doing well with adapting to this life. Having this fragile body that did die a little more every day. Being mortal. And, maybe worse, being so human. It was not that Amalthea had something against human. But for her, they were like children. Young and foolish. Believing to impress a woman, you had to kill a dragon - poor creature that had maybe lived longer than all the knights challenging it together. Believing they had to fight and kill each other over gold, or land. It was suffocating.
Just like this city. The dirty streets. The smoke that sometimes made it impossible to watch the stars in the sky. The noises. Amalthea felt trapped, and the more time passed, the more she wanted to flee somewhere. Because she missed her woods so much. No one could take that away from her. This longing to run freely again.
On some days, the beach was a welcome escape. The waves crashing against the shore reminding Amalthea of the others. Of all the unicorns she had left behind. The sand was still suprisingly warm under her naked feed, even in November.
When spotting the other woman, Unicorn stopped. She stood there, without any motion. The way every wild animal reacted to the unexpected presence of a stranger. If the wind would not have played with her hair, it would have been easy to assume Amalthea was nothing but a statue, at this point.
Then Amphitrite nodded, and Amalthea slightly tilted her head as well. A movement always too smooth and graceful for a human. Her purple eyes still laid on the woman, and she could sense something different about her. It made Amalthea walk closer, if when she still did not know what she would say, once she was there.
amphitrite & amalthea || /@totouchthcstars
The waves gently lapped against the shores of Sydney, and the sea breeze carried the salty scent of the ocean. Amphitrite, the queen of the seas, found herself drawn to the coastline. The mortal city was a curious place, a fusion of modernity and the timeless allure of the sea.
As she strolled along the sandy beach, her eyes scanned the horizon. The sun cast a warm glow over the water, creating a mesmerizing dance of light and shadow. Amphitrite marveled at the humans, their laughter and joy intermingling with the rhythmic sounds of the waves.
Finding a secluded spot, she settled on the sand, letting her fingers graze the surface of the water. The connection between the sea and her was palpable, a timeless bond that transcended the mortal world. Amphitrite closed her eyes, reveling in the soothing melody of the ocean.
The gentle waves seemed to respond to her presence, caressing the shore with a delicate touch. Amphitrite's thoughts drifted, reflecting on the ever-changing nature of the seas and the eons she had spent guarding their depths.
As she opened her eyes, a glimmer of recognition sparked within them. A mortal approached, their footsteps leaving imprints in the sand. Intrigued by the meeting of two worlds, Amphitrite welcomed the newcomer with a gracious nod.

Look who just woke up- is that EMILIA CLARKE? No, I must have been mistaken, that’s LADY AMALTHEA from THE LAST UNICORN. I heard she is IMMORTAL and stuck here just like everyone else. Even in the 20’s, they still give off a THINKING SHE MIGHT BE THE LAST OF HER KIND, THE FOREST AND NATURE REFLECTING IN HER EYES, BEING ABLE TO SEE WHAT A HEART TRULY DESIRES impression. They’re known to be quite FREE-SPIRITED, but have a tendency to be FRAGILE on their bad days.
Gender/Pronouns : she/her
How long have they been in Sydney : A character may have been in Sydney for up to seven years. However, in their fake memories, they can have lived there for any amount of time.
Which suburb do they live in? Darling Point
Personality description : While, as a unicorn, Amalthea had been free-spirited, open-minded and able to show concern and compassion to all around her, as a human, she feels sad, fragile and on the verge of depression, often claiming this body is like a prison and how she can feel it dying around herself
Memories of their real life : Amalthea does remember everything. Meeting Molly and Schmendrick, going onto the search for the other unicorns. How magic turned her into a woman to sace her from the red bull. Her love for Lir. How they did save all the unicorns in the end, and how Amalthea sacrifieced her own happy ending for it.
What was their fake life like :
Since being a child, Amalthea had always been labelled as being different. She was a small, fragile girl who often got sick, despite loving to be outside and stroll around in the garden of her uncle where she lived after the death of her parents.
Next to her love of nature, Amalthea also loved books, poems and music. Like, she would learn how to play the piano, write tunes for it herself and would read for hours at times.
Not able to deal with the pressure of college, Amalthea now tries to publish her writing, living in the old mansion her unlce had left her after passing away as well only two years ago. She does have several cats, five dogs, a few horses and a garden to take care of, as well.
theme song: Delta Goodrem - Innocent Eyes
Quote: “I am always dreaming, even when I am awake; it is never finished.”

Amalthea loved being on the beach. For various reasons. For one, it felt more like freedom here. Like, it was not her forest, but still. And secondly, the crashing waves reminded her of her sisters. Who were hopefully living a happy life now, at least. "
"The weather is surprisingly nice today, isn't it?" Even without moving a muscle herself, Unicorn had sensed the presence of another being behind her.
"For a season that is usually cold for a good amount of this world, I mean. But here in Sydney, everything seems to be.... different." She paused for a moment, seeming to be almost motionless. "It makes it hard to really adapt to having to live here. For me, at least."

.。.:*☆ The Red Bull was after her again. Amalthea knew it the moment the little hairs on her neck started tingling. It was this primal fear that told her to run and hide somewhere, if she wanted to survive. And, there was not even any magic left in her body to protect herself.
The unicorn yelped. Running down the street without really watching were she was going. She just wanted to get away. Away from her chaser. Aways from this all. Feeling the heat in her back made her shudder, and Amalthea looked around for help. For someone to realize what danger she was in. And then, she stumbled and fell....

.。.:*☆ "I am sorry this has happened to you." Amalthea did not know about the circumstances. Of course not. But she also did not feel like it was on her to ask, if Ambrose did not want to tell.
"I have thought about it," She smiled a little. "I inherited a house, from a person I was related to in my fake life. It does have a beautiful garden, and all. But these days.... it is just not the same anymore. More something I need to be responsible for, than anything else." A small sigh did follow her words.
"Oh, I know I should not burden you with all of this." Her purple eyes looked sad. "But it is nice to just talk about this all now and then?"
Ambrose nodded at the other, he could understand that from her point of view. "I know this country and this time line isn't the best for everyone, of course. I know that it isn't ideal how we got here or how we're living our life. It's just different for me, being here. I was a prisoner back home, sure it was my own fault in a sense, but I just finally get to be myself here and it feels nice." He admitted with a nod.
"Have you thought about living near the ocean or taking a trip to the beach? Maybe that could help?" Ambrose suggested. "Help you get away from everything for a while."

.。.:*☆ It was very much possible that Unicorn already stood there for hours. Like a statue, her violet eyes fixed onto the horizon. Wind was playing with her hair, and the water from the ocean washed over her naked feet. If someone would watch her, they could think she was a mannequin, maybe placed there for a photoshoot.
Hearing footsteps, Unicorn turned her head, in a motion almost too graceful for a human being. With a slight cook of her head, she observed the stranger, obviously deciding if it was worth to talk to them, or not.
“The ocean does almost remind me of home,” There was a sadness in her voice that almost seemed to much for one alone to carry. “I do miss it. Home.” She sighed. “I am worried I might not remember it anymore, if I do stay in this place for too long.”

.。.:*☆ Amalthea had non idea what was going on. However, she could feel the growing panic. The people shouting and running around, obviously looking for a safe place to hide.
Unsure what to do, she entered the kitchen of the mansion, relieved that everything in there wsa calm. “Here it seems to be safe,” She mused, turning to the person that had obviously been following her.

.。.:*☆ “Have you celebrated Valentine’s Day before?” Her head did tell Unicorn that it had been the case. But it did not feel real. It never had been “Also, I am fascinated about the fact that people always buy chocolate then. I mean - does the chocolate make it any better, in any way?”

.。.:*☆ "Yes, I....." Her naked feet were dirty and did hurt, but obviously they were still strong enough to carry her. Scared as she was, Amalthea wanted to hug herself, to protect this fragile human body, but.... no. Some instinct told her to maybe not do that in front of the man.
"A café?" Amalthea had no idea if the puzzled look on her face was already saying it all. As much as she tried, she could not recall if that is a word she could have know. A word she had heard before somewhere, maybe. "I don't know, I.... if I can sit there, that sounds like it would be okay?" Again, it felt like it was better to not show too much of her weakness to Hans. Even when he had obviously decided to help her, for now.
Ok well that was a no. He knew enough to recognise that. What he would want to do would be to just walk away and have done with all of this. Someone else's weakness wasn't his concerns. But that didn't really work with need for people to like him. A mirror image of the world in front of him, he'd been that for so long, he didn't really know if he even had an identity at this point.
"Can you stand?" that was a starting point he supposed. He could do kindness, he'd done it before in Arendelle when Anna had run off. The people had liked him then, it was a feeling he wanted back. "I believe there's a café near here, that should do it".

“We can bake cookies! And put heart sprinkles on them.” (Hatter and Amalthea)
.。.:*☆ “That does sound like a nice idea, I guess?” Memories or not, it would be the first time for Amalthea to actually experience the act of baking. And, for some reason, she actually felt excited about it. Baked goods were something she did like.
“But, you will have to teach me how it works. Alright?”

“ i’ll decorate my room with flowers. roses, of course. i’ll light candles as well. it will be wonderful. “ (Hatter and Unicorn)
.。.:*☆ “That does sound nice, actually,” Unicorn mused with a small smile as she listened to the man. “Flowers are always pretty. Just, maybe instead of putting them into a vase, we could get some flower boxes? Because it does always make me sad to see them fading to quickly once you cut them off from their roots....”

.。.:*☆ Amalthea was aware she had to wear clothes, as a mortal. And she did also have the money, thanks to her uncle. It was just, she had never felt the urge to buy something new when the clothes in her possession were still douing the job, as well. Just, tabris really seemed like she did want it, so....
"Alright," The unicorn nodded. "I do have no idea what peer pressure is, but - I assume it can not hurt if we do go and get those dressed together then - right?"
"Well, if you buy the dress, and I buy the other one, then we'll match and I won't have to feel so bad about spending as much as a make in a week," she admits, going a little red. She has a feeling that she didn't quite get it out the way she wanted, with the contemplative expression Amalthea has on. "I mean, that's what people do, right? As a sort of a peer pressure?" Maybe none of this is coming out right.
