I watched a few of Con's shorts for the first time today:

- The Outing, liked

- The Pen, did not like

- The Send Off, loved (was this about suicide? I feel like this was about suicide)

Also the Brookside episode from '84 with the bleached hair, who let him do that 😭

Good performances in Inspectors Morse (barely in it but pivotal/righteously angry baby) and Lewis (off the charts dad energy with a twist)

I think Ladhood is next. Maybe Criminal Justice.

I also re-re-re-rewatched Dancin thru the Dark because I'm trying to practice self-care.

Guess who finally started writing TSoS again? I finished the Colbie chapter with me reaching into my limited knowledge of Spanish from what I've heard from my Latin American family lmao

How did we go from Flight of the Conchords references to Ladhood? I do not know my references are all over the place

I am SO EXCITED that Con O’Neill is the (I presume from experience) sadistic gym teacher on Ladhood.

This found a lovely balance between the silliness of youth and the restless uncertainty of your thirties, as the place you expected to be remains determinedly out of reach. Very lucky to have such a strong young cast and as the third series concluded there was a freedom to be more surreal, bolder, more meta. Charming, funny, intelligent.
