You and Lucifer engage in a special moment together where truth becomes known

First impressions hit hard as always for you. At times, you could be so perceptive about the smallest of details —Like Lucifer, for example, you felt as if you could read him inside and out; He seemed like the type of guy who desired to dance in drizzling rain with sad romantic ballads playing in the background. Or well, in a nutshell, he was a hopeless romantic - he was someone who was internally hoping that something, anything, would work out for him. You wanted to be that someone to him. The someone that'd be there for him through the thick and through the thin.

You couldn’t help but notice strands of the hair falling into Lucifer's face, instinctively, you reached out and brushed them out of his face, gently tucking them aside - to which that caught the king's attention. He looked at you, as if he were a mere child struck by the wonderment of something so beautiful, so captivating. He then blinked, his eyes roaming around the vacant room before resting upon you once again. You recognized a hint of mischief in his twinkling hues; he had something in mind...

"May I have this dance, my dear?" Bowing before you, Lucifer extended his hand out to you. "It'd mean the world to me."

Butterflies formed in the pit of your stomach.

Maybe he too wanted to be a someone to you.

"you're not.... you're not messing with me are you?" You questioned him cautiously.

"messing with you?" Lucifer looked up at you with a genuine smile. "I wouldn't even think of it."

"quite bold, are you?" You finally accepted his hand and he eagerly pulled you flushed against his body.

Bold, you were right. He was bold enough for a situation like this.

"Only when it comes to you, darling." Lucifer stated.

"really?" You found yourself spinning into his embrace after he had twirled you around in one quick motion. Panicked, you looked up to see that your faces were mere inches apart, his eyes exploring your features lazily. It almost seemed like he was one of those princes in a disney movie that you wished your whole life you’d meet and fall for.

Cautiously, Lucifer took your hands in his and said, "I must say, you're just...."

"just what?" The butterflies in your stomach festered intensely.

Lucifer inclined back, seemingly bashful. “Well— you’re very — you seem like a thoughtful person. I’m just glad, glad that you are here. At this hotel." He squeezed your hands reassuringly. "With me."

"you--" Suddenly, your back was met with a firm palm which supported you as you were lowered further back, just above the ground. Instinctively, you locked your arms around Lucifer's neck before continuing, "You're...."

"I'm what?" Lucifer grinned cheekily.

You could've sworn your heart skipped a beat or two. "You're definitely something...."

"that's great, because..." Lucifer hauled you upwards and waited until you were stable before continuing in a gentle tone, "I've always wanted to be something to you."
