Some sketches by @heysawbones that I colored all the way back in 2010! The one on the left was one of my earliest forays into coloring the lineart itself, while the one on the right was very experimental for me as even now I don't shade that way... assuming I can be bothered to shade at all hahaha. The middle two are basically just typical Cassi coloring.

today’s google doodle is in honor of the guy who discovered the first synthetic dye, which just so happened to be purple.  mr. perkin, i am in your debt. the fact that the discovery was an accident and you were a teenager at the time just makes me even more of a fan.
