   ghost  is  only  keeping  himself  together  for  price  and  gaz.  he  knows  they  care  about  him,  and  if  he  jumps  off  the  deep  end  and  goes  all  in  like  he wants  to  that  would  hurt  them.  if  he  throws  himself  as  in  as  he  wants  to,  drowns  himself  in  vengeance  like  every  bone  in  his  body  is  aching  to  do,  it  will  hurt  them.  they'll  feel  the  same  pain  that  he  has.  it's  fresh,  the  loss,  having  another  one  like  that.  he  should  have  known  better  and  been  better  prepared  but  he  let  those  walls  down.  he  let  them  in.  soap.  gaz.  price.  he  let  them  all  in.  and  to  lose  them  rips  open  those  old  wounds  he  was  so  desperate  to  seal  away.  far  away. 

   he  starts  to  distance  himself  from  price  and  gaz.  it's  a  desperate  bid  to  make  them  turn  away  from  him,  turn  that  blind  eye.  let  him  go  and  do  what  he  desires.  it's  seeped  so  deep  into  his  soul  -  it  itches  in  his  god  damn bones.  that  one  human  sliver  of  him  holding  him  back.  not  wanting  anyone  else  to  tread  the  ground  he's  stuck  himself  on.  but  by god  does  he  want  to  bathe  himself  in  makarov's  blood. 

   if  it  were  up  to  him,  he'd  take  everything  he  could  from  makarov  and then  take  his  life  -  he'd  willingly  dedicate  himself  to  nothing  but  that.  he'd  go  awol.  just  to  get back.  just  to  take  it out.  it's  always  going  to  ring hollow  no  matter  what  he  does  -  he  knows  that  -  but  it  doesn't  stop  the  desire  to  remove  the  perpetrator.  so  they  can't  do  it  again.  so  it's  only ghost  who  carries  it. 

   if  only  he  could  get  past  price  and  gaz.  if  only  he  could  untie  himself,  set  himself  off  the  chains.  he's  allowed  himself  to  be  collared  and  chained  up.  cared  about.  it  rips  him  to  shreds  -  he  wants  to  be  cut  loose,  to  be  set  free. 

   and  another  part  of  him  just  wants  to  be  in  someones  arms  and  hear  the  words it's  okay.
