good morning everyone it's 7 hours later and i'm still on the prom king thing!! because okay canonically he mentions attending his junior prom so we know he went to prom in his 83/84 year BUT in almost ALL U.S. high schools (even if they do have a completely separate juniors-only prom and seniors-only prom) you HAVE to be a senior to be nominated and only the senior class can vote for prom court (and if they have a full prom court the juniors can be prince & princess but i think this is a new millennium invention and also i think it's dumb)

SO unless jj&h are bending the rules (lol they don't care nearly enough to do that) this means johnny was prom king his senior year and he attended his senior prom in the spring of 1985. (or summer because for some reason in the tkk-universe prom takes place after graduation and i'll never forgive them for that.)

also, as a personal plea, let me have this.
