I could go on forever about Ne Zha and Red Son's relationship with this village, but I had to keep this down to a reasonable page count, so sadly I will only be showing this visit (atleast in the main comic)

Glamour notes: I didn't want to change the look of Ne Zha or Red Son too much, so their greyscale colours stay the same, but Red's hair does change colour to not stand out too much. AND I have since learned a lot more about Ne Zha, so while the rings on his wrists are hidden by glamour, the ring around his neck will make a reappeance next part when I can draw him properly without the glamour.

Some dialogue I had planned for the first page that I decided not to include:

Red Son: There's more peasant stalls

Ne Zha: Don't call the people here that

Red Son: Fine

Ne Zha: It doesnt feel like the sky was split by a beam of light just a few weeks ago... If anything this place is thriving...

Okay so essentially whilst thinking of maybe rewriting my scrapped spider queen continuation I remembered something:

Meihua would've most likely been there too! Probably, being the youngest, told to stay back by her parents and brother who tried to deal with her.

Which means SHE takes the place of MK in canon for the season two special! :D

(Also uh... More modern clothes because A. Festival and B. I don't think a long dress would've been that good for action. She normally would wear that but for this occasion? Needed something a lot more casual)

So as any sensible person is, she runs towards her brother's friends for help. So now we're onto the celestial realm to make an antidote for spider queens venom! Yippee! :D

Hi hello. Did I make a very unfinished animatic for my fanfic The Dawn of Fire on AO3 chapter 3 instead of writing chapter 4? Maybe… yes. I did. Here it is.. do u like it, bats eyelashes… no but really, I had a good vision for this.. the song Get Lost from Moana 2 paired with the last scene of Chapter 3 to my fanfic, I would’ve done the whole song but I couldn’t even do the separated parts… sighs. Here's our main character line up. Decided to name our main character Zi Xuan(cute, beautiful jade), Red Son and Mei's child is called Xiaoping (small and peaceful) and our new character Yue Lao.

Not too happy about the result, but I'll let you be the judge of that.
