I watched her cry today..

Mugi麦 here. Well, she just finished crying and as usual handed it over to me. It was not the sobbing type. Just droplets of tears type. But even so, you cannot judge it by how it appears to be because behind that numbered drop of tears, she's breaking. I could feel it because we are one and the same. Why did she cry you ask? Ill tell you why. She finally got the push to start a convo with someone again at messenger. She was wondering how this person got her application in Canada going. This goes back to that time recently, when her mom told her that they, her mom and dad, would help her land a job somewhere. She's been unemployed for 8 months already due to the prolonged processing of her visa for her Qatar application and they were starting yo worry I guess. Going back to today. She gathered her courage to shot up a conversation with this ex-colleague who recently told her that her application for Canada is looking well. Turns out a Mcdonalds branch there where his uncle is working has an open slot for a Supervisor position. Coincidentally, the manager of that branch knew and worked with our previous RM in mcdo when she was still working for mcdoph. Her referral game is so strong at this point that she automatically landed the position. The only thing left is for the employer to apply for her LMIA/work permit and she's ready to fly to Canada. This is where it got too much for her. While reading the story she felt a lump in her throat. She suddenly felt like a weight has been put on her chest. And even though it's a Saturday morning and her aunt was just in the other room, I clearly saw her tears dropping. She was choked up and I knew she badly wants to sob right there but can't. She harshly buried her face on her pillow. I felt bad for her. All I could do was watch. I know that she knows that it is bad to be envious of what others have. But could we actually blame her? She once told me that all she ever wanted was to work abroad and live the life she imagined she would. That all her life after graduating from university she worked so hard in chasing that dream but it never came. It's just a shame that now an opportunity opened it's doors for her finally but it still felt distant. Somehow she felt like it's closing in on her after she went in and now she's trapped without a next move. I know what you're thinking about her right now and I dont like it. I know you must be thinking "But she's still young, she's just 24yrs old. There are more opportunities waiting for her in the near future. She just have to wait for the perfect time coz it would come" Think she never thought of that? Think she never used that exact same sentences to calm herself down and stop her from thinking bad about herself? Well think again. She actually did say that to herself too many times that it has become a mantra she recited to herself whenever she's face with these kind of circumstances. Im telling you she really did and it's also one of the things that is weighing her down right now. At the end of the day I'm sure she'd think back and feel guilty why the fuck she had to cry. She think how selfish and self centered she was for crying on something that's not even a problem. All of these just because it's clear to her that people around her would never understand why she's seeing a future without her in it. That's gotta be the reason why she had to have everything now. Why she feels bad even though she's still "young". She has no choice but to seem selfish, self-centered, jealous, envious and all that jazz because in her mind, if it's not today, then it's never gonna happen. じゃあね！
