honestly, the allegations with Sejanus, Livilla, and Drusus is more my thing, but absolutely wild shit went down there. real Power Corrupts Everything It Touches type of event. the debasement of the Imperial Family, and by extension The State, (and the rise of the Praetorian Guard stepping outside of it's intended role and turning into an Institution That Is Also A Threat) forcing it into an insular paranoia that it'll never recover from is great.

#LOVE the role that pallas has in sejanus' downfall and his subsequent career #it's giving imperial china a bit. like one of the ming dynasty eunuchs #pallas does cycle back to some kind of.
