So I played Little Kitty Big City yesterday with one of my friends and I had to do little doodles of the kitty! It's such a cute game and and I love it! When I buy it for myself, I will be playing it for YouTube.

I do wish the game was longer. That and the camera was a little better, those are my only complaints. I wonder if they will bring out any dlcs? I certainly hope so.

This game is just charming! I love playing Lumi (my name for the little guy)

More cat games have surfaced possibly because of Stray. Whatever the cause let's keep them coming!

The main game was pretty short, but it was nice and it was fun meeting all the characters. And the general aesthetic of the game is overall cute.

That being said the controls are incredibly wonky, as well as the physics of the game. There were many times when "Kitty" would fall through objects or just randomly leap off of railings, despite having no problems beforehand. Plus, there will be times I've fallen from a high height and I'll get sent back to where I was. But if I fell a second time, I'm just on the ground now.

And I kinda hope someone else is having this same issue. After I was done with the main game, I was going to fill out the rest of the map. BUT, I can't figure out how to get to those areas. Idk if I missed something or what. It makes me wonder if those areas aren't finished or something. It's just driving me insane TwT

I know these aren't a great comparison, but I definitely would say that LKBC isn't as great as Stray. Stray is just a lot more engaging, has better controls, and even the cat acts more like a cat than LKBC. At least in Stray, I could walk on the tiniest bit of water 🥲

I'd probably give it a 6.5/10. It's not bad or anything. It's just the controls and wonkiness that really hold it back.

LITTLE KITTY BIG CITY SPOILERS BELOW CUT (kind of??)

i've been really enjoying little kitty big city!! its super cute and colorful and kitty moves so much like a cat!!

but i unfortunately have more cons then pros...

i thought it would be more like untitled goose game, with no story and just causing chaos. not that i mind the story or anything, i was just expecting the former you know? that's not a con, just me

the game controls are really wonky and glitchy and the game is super short

one thing for certain is, they need to add an unstuck or i'm stuck feature for both kitty and items

while trying to get the rainbow balls for the shiba inu i ended up getting the one on the balcony stuck between the balcony railing and the white platform on the balcony and can't get it out, so i don't see how i'm going to get that achievement done and i am not restarting

and at another point while traveling thru the convenience store vent i got stuck in the wall. fortunately i managed to get back out, but idk what i was going to do if i couldn't

all in all i think the controls and physics could of been a little more polished in the end. idk how much time the devs had or if they were being crunched so it might not really be their fault

am i saying the game's not worth playing?? NO it is so worth playing despite the wonkiness. the story and jokes are great, the game looks great, and its a joy to play even thru its flaws
