I find it hard to respect people who constantly criticize others yet have nothing meaningful to say about themselves or the world around them. There’s something unsettling about those who seem to focus all their energy on tearing others down without ever standing for anything constructive.

It’s as if they exist only to add to the noise, without contributing any real value or depth of their own.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

What an incredible experience this year at the 2024 CIBC Run for the Cure with our amazing Team Fo Shoe for our 8th time doing it! 🏃‍♂️💖

This year’s run was especially meaningful, as it marked a personal milestone for me and for so many as we all have lost or know someone that is fighting the fight for life against cancer !

Togeather with your help we raised an $454 for our team which is lower then previous years but all amounts add up and contribute because as a whole the Ottawa/Gatineau chapter this year togeather raised a total of $412,659 which shows the power of a bunch of small contribitions can make.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who supported us including Sam Dia, Alcea Da Alceu Da Silva Moreira, Jovica Boskovic and Liliana Claudia Vaduva—your donations, shares, and encouragement mean the world.

Every year I am determined to push myself harder than ever—and I did. I ran my fastest time in the past year, clocking 24:34. In the running world, that’s a big jump, and it showed me that we all have more strength and potential inside us than we often realize.
