I’m assuming your url is meant to be like shsl argue, like danganronpa super high school level. But I always read it as SHJAKSHHLLARRRRKKGGLLEEEE 🥰

I’ve had this url since I was twelve and into dangan ronpa. I am no longer into dangan ronpa and have grown to actively despise it. but this is my BrandTM so I just haven’t changed it… the fact that someone else has recognized its origins fills me not only great shame but also actual, tangible terror

I’m retroactively changing the origins of the username. I hereby decree that it is officially pronounced SHSJDJJFJFKDJAAAARRGGLEEE

So recently I’ve seen some negativity flying around writeblr about supporting other writers, and I just wanted to make a post and try and end that right now.

To that anon, it genuinely surprises me how nice these people are, too. When I get nice comments, I always think to myself “they can’t actually like it, they’re just going through the motions”. But once you actually get to know these people... they don’t just become other writeblrs you know, they become your allies and friends. That’s what’s so special about this community and why I love it so much.

I’ve learned, grown, laughed, cried, been intimidated by, befriended, and written alongside a lot of people on this community, something I never thought I could do. My first short story was a ripoff of Tinker Bell when I was eight years old, and now I’m writing my third novel.

That being said, I want to call out some of the friends I’ve made here, just to prove to you how many connections I’ve made, because anon, it’s clear that you haven’t.

@incandescent-creativity - They’re so talented it’s sometimes hard to talk to them!! The SOLE Project and TREE project has caught my eye for months now, and I kinda find myself just *quietly lurking* below the surface... o.o They’re such a sweet and positive influence on this site, and honestly way more put together than me omg like have you seen that blog?? So talented, so kind, and such sweet characters!! (Instead of Doctor Agau she can choke :):):):) )

@cogwrites - Now THIS is a blog with originality!! When I first read about MoTU, I LITERALLY went “oh... oh geez...” out loud. I promise, you’ve all seen steampunk before, but never like this! I can’t believe cog can actually make me smile and almost cry in the same excerpt, or how they can make me shake my head in real time and say “Fyr, come on you goofball” The amount of sheer talent concentrated in one person almost scares me a bit, but until scientists discover the inhuman levels of raw talent, I’m so glad they’re posting!

@boothewriter - Boo is someone I’ve gotten to know quite well over the past year or so, and although our schedules have been busy and we haven’t messaged in a while, I’m still always excited for another excerpt of her Pirate WIP!! Her characters are SO diverse and unique, and alongside such a descriptive link page (one that I modeled my own link page off of because I loved it so much), there’s always so much information on what she’s working on, which works because she writes incredible fanfiction and original fiction!! 

@sleepy-and-anxious - Omg you see this right here?? My MOTHER :0 I look up to Annabel more than I have time for in this short blurb, but watching her blog grown and develop into such an interesting and fun place to be has truly been a pleasure in the writeblr community. I remember when I saw her intro post for the first time and I knew I just HAD to be friends with her!! Her worldbuilding for GFS is inspiring, and it’s what I strive to develop someday myself, so she’s one of the hugest sources of inspiration for me.

@avi-burton-writing - Yesss who could forget my jewish BFF!! It’s hard out here on writeblr being jewish, but Avi just makes it a little bit easier. When I was loosing about three followers an hour for trying to take a stand against anti-semitism on my blog, Avi was there to help me through it. But beyond just being a wonderful person, they’re such a creative writer with plots and characters that I just wanna squish the cheeks of!! When I read their excerpts, they always have me on the edge of my seat (especially that recent one with the knife like omg avi I need a minute) and I’m so excited to watch how Interim and their other works turn out!!

@lefttowritee - Now this is a dude I can really just rant to any time! Ghost is such a mood, and I love them and their projects so much! Into the Haze is SO creative and imaginative, like,,, what kinda genius puts steampunk and feudalist Japan together??? I need me a freak like that?? Their worldbuilding is SO good, and I get so excited whenever I see updates because I am FIRST IN LINE to buy this book when it comes out, trust me ;)

@lady-redshield-writes - This is the writer who’s kind of the reason that I’m still even posting at all on this site. She is so incredibly supportive, so much that it’s practically like a part time job, and always leaves such sweet comments, even when she doesn’t even have to!! I hope some day that I can have kindness like that and get to everyone so quickly, because she’s basically my tumblr aunt and I look up to her so much :0

@toboldlywrite - *WHEEZE* HAVE YOU SEEN THIS BLOG?? oh my gosh when I first got word of Insomnia I was ALL OVER that story!! Chloe’s moodboards are so well done and chilling, and I honestly want one of them to be my wallpaper, they’re just THAT GORGEOUS. And if a talented moodboard maker isn’t enough for you, she’s got three amazing WIPs, all unique and wonderful and stories that I 100% would buy if I saw them at the store!! I actually got chills down my back reading about how you could program dreams, and that’s my official dream job when I have to tell people about it.

@pen-and-sword-writing - I love this blog s o  m u c h!! Caitlin needs WAY more confidence in herself, because she’s both a wonderful artist and a wonderful writer! I can’t wait to hear way more about her writing and characters, and I’ll never forget all her art when she showed it to me for the first time :)

@idreamonpaper - Oh, Jazz. What can I even say? Anon, if you’re reading this, then I’m sure you two are well acquainted by now, but you know as well as I that of anyone in the writeblr community, and trust me, there are many of us, you should have picked on her the least. Jazz is one of the kindest, most talented people I know. Her characters and story captured my heart immediately, and while yes, sometimes I send in asks to people because I don’t want them to have an empty askbox, it’s never the case with Jazz. Every ask, every comment, is because I genuinely and truly love From the Shadows and everything it has to offer. There’s a reason that I’m making this post, anon, and it’s not just to call you out, it’s to shine a light on how brilliant and wonderful this person is. She’s one of the most positive forces in this community, and no matter where she ends up, I hope that she always has that beautiful creative spirit so she can somehow make this world a little bit better.

Can I have an RFA+Saeran reacting to MC getting a bad allergic reaction? You can decide whether it's like her entire body is breaking out in hives, or like her tongue/lip/throat starts swelling up. Thank youuuu❤️ your blog is lovely btw. I find myself visiting it almost daily.

Yoosung:

he didn’t know what to do

like at first everything was good, they were eating ice cream and Yoosung gave her some of his to her but she forgot that his had strawberries in it and well.. 

now her face was turning beet red and her throat was swelling up so quickly that he just couldn’t react to it in time

his eye widened and he literally dropped his ice cream onto the floor

“OMG MC! ARE YOU OKAY? ARE YOU HAVING AN ALLERGIC REACTION?”

mentally slaps himself for asking that question like of course she is you idiot can you not see that she can’t breathe?

he’s just SCREAMING for help and low key crying because he’s so scared that MC will die??

MC manages to choke out that she has an epipen in her bag and FINALLY he reacts and stabs her thigh

in a couple of seconds her wheezing slows down and a few minutes later, she breathes more steadily

“MC! oh my god I thought I’d lose you! I’m sorry I didn’t know you were allergic to strawberries”

is he still crying? probably

Zen:

holy cow he was so prepared for this

he had benadryl, an epipen (for himself), allegra, claritin… he was basically a walking pharmacy

so when he saw MC sneeze with watery eyes and cough with her itchy throat, he knew that she had hay fever

it was almost scary how quick he was to realize like

one second she was looking for a tissue and in the next he already handed her a pill, had opened water bottle in one hand and a packet of tempo tissues in the other

MC was kinda shook like “Whoa where did all this come from?”

“Well, I’m always prepared ‘cause, never know when I’ll meet a cat, y’know?”

so grateful AAAAAA

“Zen, you know you’re the-”

“Best boyfriend ever? Yea, I know. Now eat this medicine before you start snotting all over the place”

^^got slapped for saying that but it’s okay it was a “playful hit” sorta thing

they had a nice date in the park after that

but MC was secretly hoping that someone would bring their cat outside >:)

Jaehee:

she didn’t even know it was happening?

MC and her got the SAME DRINK (coffee, i mean)

and she’d ASKED SPECIFICALLY for soy milk because MC was lactose intolerant but when they got the drinks, the barista mixed it up (damnit customer service)

we won’t go into the nasty stuff but MC was suffering 

she felt nauseous and her stomach was cramping up 

there was a cold sweat on her brow but she was determined (and i mean D E T E R M I N E D) not to let Jaehee know because 

how embarrassing?? it was low key just a stomach ache but at that point in time, she didn’t want Jaehee to know that she was about to puke in the taxi

“Hey, MC? Are you alright? You look all pale and you’re sweating?”

“Y- yea, I’m alright. But can we get off at the next stop? I’m a feeling a bit carsick.”

as soon as she got off the car she started vomiting on the side of the road

Jaehee was freaking the hell out and was so worried she was patting her back and talking like a mom

but after it was out of her system, MC felt better and told Jaehee about her lactose intolerance

“MC, you should’ve told me earlier!!”

Jumin:

honestly the fact that MC could’ve had allergies never crossed his mind

so when he told chef to prepare a Mille-feuille with almond accents he was absolutely clueless

did i or did i not literally google fancy french dessert names and plug in some sort of nut for this to happen idunno u decide

right so MC who didn’t know what the fuck this dessert was, much less knew that there would be almonds in it

immediately after the first few bites she felt this heat rush to her face

uh-oh she knew EXACTLY what was happening

she excused herself from the table and ran to the bathroom with her purse

Jumin was confused like did she have to pee that badly??

when MC came back out, he noticed her eyes were swollen and she was breathing rather heavily

and not to mention, she spent a solid 10 minutes in there

“MC, did something happen?”

“um.. were there nuts in that?”

“Yes, I especially told the chef to add almonds. Don’t tell me, you are allergic to nuts…?”

MC didn’t even have to say anything 

“I’m so sorry, I promise it won’t happen again.”

he pulled MC into a hug and told her he was going to throw away all nuts products at home (even Elizabeth’s nut shaped toy nuuu ;A;)

707:

DUDE he literally shared his FAVOURITE CHIPS WITH MC AND NOW SHE WAS COUGHING HER LUNGS OUT

“MC! MC! MC!!! IT’S OKAY WHERE IS YOUR MEDICATION!”

he remembered seeing in her medical records that she was allergic to something

what it was, it couldn’t remember now, but it was obviously something that was in his HBC (much to his dismay)

anyway he was running around the house flipping the couch over like it was a piece of paper, rummaging for her medicine like a mad man

and when he finally found it under her pillow (what was it doing there anyway???)

he nearly hollered out of delight and forgot that he should, in fact, be giving it to MC and not celebrating his find 

oops

k so after MC calmed the f down and could breathe again

sEVEN WAS SULKING

“Seven y r u sad”

“B- because, I can’t share the thing i love most with you”

.-. i have no words

Saeran:

he wasn’t ready

nO ONE PREPARED HIM FOR THIS

for his entire life he hasn’t heard or encountered someone with a severe allergy and this bb

this poor thing was so scared

he just started like shaking because he didn’t know what to do

MC was breaking out into hives and her face was all itchy and she just looked so uncomfortable 

he couldn’t react cuz like ???? what was happening what is this how to life send help

so MC is over there scratching at herself and telling Saeran to calm down

“It’s okay, it’ll go away in a few hours once I eat some medicine”

he didn’t believe her

but when it was over he was super relieved

“MC please don’t let that happen again, I don’t want to see you suffer”

“I’ll try, but sometimes I can’t help it. I’m allergic to egg products and sometimes I eat it by accident.”

^^idk too much about hives and stuff but yea i searched online and came to this conclusion, sorry if i’m wrong

AYY hope that wasn’t too bad? I have hay fever myself and lemme tell u that i wish i had a BF with meds 24/7
