I need to reread Umineko to understand Erika/Dlanor but their main thing for me right now is how Erika comes from outside of the cat box to destroy Beatrice’s illusions, while Dlanor enforces the rules of mystery and judges the Author, but Ange also just wants her brother back and rejected Maria’s magic because they couldn’t help her with that, so Dlanor is portrayed as a heartless murderbot in her eyes, but also also Erika is always mourning her lost love, and Dlanor wanted to help but she can do nothing but watch
