Sabo ends up learning details about you from Ace, once he admits to Ace he's interested. You and Ace had a clean break, mutual, no real drama - there was a relief to it, honestly, you were both relieved the other was okay with stepping the romance into friendship without breaking any hearts.

You missing your bus was an unexpected windfall for Sabo, when he decides to tag along with Ace to get you home. The blonde's smitten, the fact that you and Ace get along so well is probably part of it. Observant and far more detail oriented than Ace or Luffy, Sabo picks up on the fact that you're at least physically attracted to him.

He's sure he knows how the chat will go with Ace, but he asks anyway. Ace is for it - Sabo's a good dude, and Ace won't have to worry about you. Not that he can yay or nay who you do date, but as his friend he wants you safe and happy.

With Sabo there's no chance you'll be calling him crying cause some jerk wad beat you up (or tried to, you've got a solid hook, much to Ace's dismay).

Sabo doesn't hold back - he's not getting down on one knee in public or anything, but he does break the ice with a single flower, his number written inside the paper bow wrapped around the stem. Putting you at ease and letting you know he's already talked to Ace about it, as long as your comfortable with it, he'd like to see where things go.

He's such a perfect gentleman it almost makes your head spin. Pulls out your chair, opens doors, helps you in and out of your coat, offers his hand when you're stepping down or up from something. Even with every fluid action, he's still right up against you in the club.

You can feel every taut muscle just beneath his clothes as you move with the music. Actions full of silk are coming from fingers that could shatter stone.

You're not going into things completely blank on him either. Ace talked about his brothers a LOT. You haven't met Luffy yet, he's finishing school abroad, sometimes his grandfather insisted on, but you feel like you already know him.

You don't know all of Sabo's secrets, but you know there's a beast beneath the tailored clothes and well-kept hats. Not that that's a deterrent in the slightest, as his club styled dancing has ballroom dancing steps woven into it, you can't help but wonder what weaves its way through his moves in other settings.

There's no rush - you enjoy one another's company on many levels and most of your dates end with a sweet kiss that grows deeper and deeper as time goes on.

When you invite him inside, you can hear the leather of his gloves creak as his fingers flex. He accepts, letting you lead the pace and vibe of the night. There's no strain in his voice, no urgent need in his actions, even though your heart's about to beat out of your chest, your own nerves making you a mess.

The smile that slips across his lips when you ask him to be a gentleman and help you out of your clothes is one you hadn't seen before, but most certainly would again.

1) UNFORTUNATELY (said with love). that edit made me cry like a mf, my soul is too soft for those two to stay dry eyed through stuff like that. but god it was BEAUTIFUL.

2) ohh 100000%. it's in my post–war buckbucky playlist, it fits john's pov so well. it's so angsty, working through mental health issues in the aftermath, learning how to communicate with gale and ask for help when he needs it, just wanting to be by his side 24/7 but feeling undeserving of his love and also being afraid of how much he loves him and how much gale loves him back </3

3) omg no don't be sorry!! i am someone who listens to a little bit of everythinggg don't sweat it. i gave it a listen and YOWCH that hurt wtf?? it does fit bucky in that time so well, our poor sweet boy. :( also i still feel so bad that my only curtbucky fic is an mcd angst one LOL i need to fix that soon <3

NOT FUN. i have such a hard time listening to that song as is but thinking about it with post–war john in mind has literally made it 10x more painful and now this edit 😭 i tried to make an angsty edit to it a few weeks back but i started crying every time LOL phoebe just hurts too damn bad when you pair her with mota stuff. i adore her <3

6) SGDKJG honestly a wild day for us. she cracks me up like no one else <33 but OOO okay so i'm a strange one alright i grew up adoring anything fantasy/sci–fi, ate every novel and movie and show up, but in the past few years i've sort of lost interest in that vibe? which makes me really sad! but i've just been enjoying more slice of life stuff in terms of media i consume.

so i think if dune had come out when i was in like high school, i would've been obsessed, but even if it's not my go to genre, i still thought they were beautiful movies, perfect casts, managed to hold my attention as someone who can barely sit thru movies 99% of the time, the sound design was incredible, 10/10. no complaints.

but listen.... at first i was like "yummy feyd" as a joke. i serious'd very very fast. like i knew i'd be attracted just bc, i mean, c'mon, it's austin lmfaooo, but my brain chemistry was genuinely altered. i haven't like properly fleshed out any au–type of brainrot because i honestly didn't retain enough info about the dune universe (again. i am not a good movie watcher, i do not do well just sitting down and paying attention to one thing for three hours lol) but i do think some sort of crossover where john is in the dune world would be interesting!

let's be real, most of us would probably just wanna see john and feyd fuck nasty so. not sure it needs much elaborating on LMFAO and i'd be surprised if someone doesn't end up writing a fic like that– wouldn't be surprised if there already are some!

♡ 𝐊𝐀𝐊𝐔𝐂𝐇𝐎 is a business person—he's tied to that and he'll be as professional as he can when he faces his executives to keep his head held high but there's an exception when you suddenly bust in the room and you just glance at him to avoid interrupting his meeting.

"Then we—then um." He stuttered when his eyes followed you while you sat down to do even more staring and the sight of you smiling at the back was enough for him to chuckle nervously at how easily affected he is with a growing color to his cheeks but all he could do was clear his throat.

"Moving on."

- First and foremost, he's loyal. Worry less about all these potential admirers when it comes to him because no other eyes are drawn to you but Kakuchos'. Even if someone were too proudly approach him and aim for small talk to expect his number at the end of it, the minute someone else tries to pull a game on him—he's already preoccupied by you even when you're not there.

"Babe!" He calls out while you lift your head from your phone since you just got out of the restroom and you noticed a confused glance of a woman from behind your boyfriend. "Right with that date." He cheers, emphasizing on the last word, throwing his arm over your shoulder as he sends a cheeky grin to the stranger he went pass with since he was asked for his number even if he had declined it too many times already.

- Kakucho's love is like an old song that still captures the heart of whoever listens no matter the generation. A classic and timeless form of love that you could never trade for anything else. You can say it's old fashioned. In a way, he's just gentle but that side of his youth that he missed can be seen with that glow of genuine enjoyment when he's with you.

- Following that statement, Kakucho is willing to spoil you with anything but a flower given to you whenever he has the chance seems like the icing on top. He's flustered about it, sometimes he looks like he's found a discovery that entertained him too much that he ends up oversharing and overbuying the flowers for you. Your room then becomes a mini garden courtesy of your boyfriend. "That's a red camellia." You pointed out, smiling lightly while he hooks the stem over your ear.

"Don't be like that, I know what the flower means, Y/N."

"Good 'cause I love you too, Kaku."

- Hear me out: he'll try to cook for you. He'll set up a bunch of random recipes he can remember from his mom and he's searching it up to make sure he's actually keeping track of what was derived from his memory and obviously, what was written on some page he found. He'd give all his time and effort there but oddly enough, he's nervous for you to taste it so when you're eating the meal, his eyes are alert like he was willing to pull out some notebook to take serious criticism.

"So..hun? How was it?"

"It was good!"

"Really?!"

- Young Kakucho acts like a school boy around you. Picking your bag, your books, or whatever your hands are busied with. You don't even need to say something—it just comes as a reflex. "I'll get it, babe!"

- Bare minimum? He raises the bar to whatever standard. It may look simple but to you, when he suddenly bends down to tie your shoe laces without any other warning, that's about as young love as it gets. He'll even fix your hair, your accessories if a necklace is turned the other way around, or when you're waiting for the train and there's a hand to your hip while you find a seat just so you don't lose him in the midst of the people inside it.

- Let's be a bit specific, Kakucho is the type of boyfriend to instantly turn around when you're not there behind him. Even if you try to prank him for a second, he's already intertwining your hands with his with a bright grin. "Can't lose what's mine, Y/N." He reminds you.

- He's so observant with it too. Once he sees your mannerisms that just show that you're uncomfortable or you need something, he's already a step ahead with a hand to your shoulder to catch your attention. "You're cold, dear. Take this." He insists when his coat was shuffled over to you while you give a peck to his cheek as thanks.

- Now—in terms of nicknames, he's being playful yet basic with it. He'll hit you with the casual babe If he's feeling too tempted to poke the fun out of you, he'll throw in names such as cutie and any other combination of what he thinks would sound nice to call you with even if it doesn't make sense.

- Kakucho loves shopping with you. You know those boyfriends that usually look bored when they're with their s/o? This man is the opposite. When his schedule is free, he just likes to see you dress up in whatever you bought plus it's a bonus to stroll and eat around the mall too. "Can I see the back of it?" He asks.

"I like this one, do you wanna match jackets with me?"

"Always, Y/N."

- Even so, he loves sharing his clothes with you too. Want to strut his new blazer? Go for it, he'll be there to be your first audience to clap for your appearance. "You look—you look so good." He says shyly but when you try to remove it, he stops you. "Keep it on, it's better on you anyway."

- His specialty: house dates and picnics. From all the work that he has to go through, all he needs is rest. You were already his comfort but if the world could go along with it, he'd be even happier. He'd rather stay in but sometimes, he'll be spontaneous to just stroll along a park and you'd settle down there until the afternoon haze dies down and by the time you look at your phone, it's already 9pm. "Shit we better go home." You told him as he nodded but he chuckles for a second when he saw a leaf drop to the crown of your hair.

"There's my pretty baby." He grins, taking the leaf before he tickles it to your nose.

- Speaking of house dates, he really likes to go through pamper days with you. It's so relaxing for him and he'd even massage you and you'd do the same to him. Cleaning nails? Doing those facial masks? Skin care moments? He's all up for it. "Your skin looks...weird." Izana oddly compliments while Kakucho raises an eyebrow as his hands tap into his cheeks.

"Weird?"

"It looks shiny clean what the fuck."

- When it comes to his past, he doesn't want to look back on it but there are moments where he'd still visit his parents grave but to you, he just surprises you. "Hi ma and pa. I haven't visited in a while but someone special is here that I want you to meet."

Kakucho then slings his arm to your waist, a head leaning to yours as he intertwines your hands from beneath. "This is Y/N. I wish you would've been here to see how they make me happy. And I'll love Y/N like you did with mom, dad."

- Meeting Izana felt like you went to court for judgement from intimidation. Kakucho wanted to half laugh at how you looked when you met the white haired boy but his best friend couldn't care less as long as you weren't a burden. "So, do you know how to work a gun?"

"Izana!" Your boyfriend argued.

- The second you came into their meeting, the Tenjiku members bat an eye at who you were. Much to your dismay that he was in the middle of talking, he actually doesn't shy away from bragging about you. "Yeah, that's my Y/N. Now, can we focus?" He introduces shortly with a smile but Ran already scoffs at his side before sending a wave to you and it causes some sort of reaction to the point almost all of them bid a nod to you or a small "Hi."

- When it comes to fights, Kakucho insists that you stay home. He prioritizes you even if there are way better things he should worry about. "Promise me you won't find me?" He asks, hands on your shoulders. "Yeah. Please take care." You bid him, placing a kiss to his lips.

- Even if he's all bruised up, he still doesn't want you to see him like that but there's an exception when he really needs your help and he'll give in. "Sorry to disturb you." He says while you rolled your eyes. "Come in then."

- He'd be the savior when it comes to soothing you when you have your own problems. He'll drop everything if it meant he could help you because he could put himself in your position. He's vulnerable when he's with you so if it was the other way around, he'd tend to you in the same way. "I'm right here, tell me when you're ready." He assures you, a kiss to your forehead.

- Best person to take to your parents. Please—no other exception there is but he is so nervous. All the sweat is sticking to his skin and he's going over his words on how to greet your family and you'll have to go through about ten sets of questions if he's wearing the right clothes or if he looks intimidating. "Hun—are you sure? Do I look presentable enough? I could always change."

"Shh, you look handsome."

"Handsome?" He asks, raising an eyebrow with tinted cheeks in pink. "Like always." You answered, fixing his shirt.

- There's a moment where marriage was brought up and you swore out of all the times he's ever been flustered around you, this one was the winner. "Marriage? Well—I don't want—No, I mean I'd really love to—"

"It's just that you're too young?" One of your parents asked to finish his hesitation while Kakucho sighs to calm himself down but the sight of you smiling at him from his stammered performance, his heart beams when he's got the answer so he shakes his head.

"Too young or too old, sir. I'd marry Y/N no matter the day. "

- And at the end of the evening, he definitely got the attention of your parents, in a good way of course.

I think I got into the writing side of the Genshin community by looking up Diluc and Kaeya fics (not the ship, but their brotherly bond has such a good potential for angsty hurt/comfort that it was too good to pass up, even if it is only platonic) so this event really did feed me well lmfao

I’ve been wanting to do something like a harbinger reader for quite some time, but I’m not sure if anyone would be interested in that, since I’ve seen quite a few people do that idea already. But if it’s specifically requested, I’ll do it,,, Anyway.

Yes. Harbinger reader. Albedo would figure it out soon, if not right away when he meets you. He’s wary of what a harbinger would want with his little sister.

If Klee was perhaps a little older, you would offer to take her under your wing, teaching her the ways of the fatui, operating as your apprentice. Your adorable little apprentice that acts like a living grenade, grinning as she decimates anything in her path. But alas, even someone as evil as you wanted to preserve her carefree innocence for just a little longer before she had to open her eyes to how cruel the world could be.

So, Albedo lets you carry on this little charade of protectiveness, so long as you’re not hurting her. It’s only when you protect him from an onslaught of Fatui soldiers on Dragonspine with your Cryo vision (or, you know, whatever vision reader would have but I just thought it shows that harbinger reader really cares if they’re using CRYO in a snowy environment. Also woukd be kind of funny with Albedo like ‘???? Why are you using Cryo in the SNOW?’ ), did he realise that what you were doing wasn’t out of cunning malice but out of the genuine connection you had made with the two blondes. You weren’t… Insufferable. In fact, you were quite pleasant to be around. But he still has his reservations about you being with such a corrupt group, that’s something he’s always going to be cautious of. And he does warn you, in a not so subtle way:

If you EVER put Klee in danger, Knight, harbinger, status wouldn’t of mattered between the two of you- he would deal with you personally. (I can’t tell if this scares or excites me- reader is probably extremely confused at the emotions it elicits)

Albedo would suit morally grey harbinger reader, you’re both flight risks and are willing to do whatever it takes to protect your loved ones. You’re also both incredibly dangerous and have the potential to unleash hell upon the world. Maybe two chaotic souls ground each other, keeping things in balance. But if anyone was to set either of you off… I don’t even think gods could stop the impending doom you both would bring. Thankfully, no one’s tried to do that. Yet.

Hehe. Maybe I went a little overboard but it sparked some inspiration, something I’ve been lacking in (especially today) let me know what you thought about it <3 expand it, if you like.
