Leianna inhaled deeply as he brought over the food. "Smells wonderful. Thank you." She waited for him to get settled before eating.

Kai laughed, almost catching up to her, using the same shortcut. But instead of catching up with her properly, he was willing to let the guards catch her. He knew she'd learn better that way.

Leianna leaned into him, watching him read but not really paying close attention to the reading material.

Kai caught her hands with one hand, catching some of the papers with another. His grip tightened on her and he quickly bound her up. "Push your luck too much and I'll personally ensure that all your friends find are just pieces," he told her, casually but with promise. He released the chain and then cleaned up before picking her up and carrying her to the bathroom. Once there, he got the bath started before he gently started disrobing her and set her in the bath.

Leianna kissed him back affectionately but trying to conscious of their company, surprised by the display on his part. She knew he didn't typically display his affection unless making a possessive statement, which she knew wasn't the case here. She smiled softly at the compliment and leaned into him. If it wasn't for all of the outside circumstances, it almost felt like the early days in that moment and she sighed softly, fond of the recollection and memories of those days.

Secondly, I said within reason so I'm going to have to deny the guard. You're welcome to a bath or shower, but only if you're with me so I can make sure you don't drown. And your option for a softer bed would be my own, since you decided to spurn my kindness earlier."
