The kickstarter for a documentary about my dad's life and artwork is now live! His name was Kent Melton and he was a sculptor for Disney, Dreamworks, Laika, Hanna-Barbera, and many other studios over the years. It's being put together by a friend of his, Maria, who worked with him at Laika!

JUST REVEALED: In honor of the film’s 15th anniversary, Laika is bringing back their very first movie to the big screen.

Remastered in 3D, “Coraline” will return to movie theaters this August.

Happy anniversary, Coraline!

Coraline is officially 15 years old today!

I'll never forget when it came out on DVD and I first watched it with my brothers at night with the lights turned off. I was of course really freaked out by it, but my oldest brother seemed pretty calm throughout the whole film. He normally didn't get scared easily. But the very next morning, he came downstairs for breakfast and told us he'd had a nightmare about the Beldam running at him screaming.
