ladye deactivated cuz shes a pos queerphobe and was involved in a conservative christian lu server thats openly homophobic. you might wanna clear yourself soon cuz ppl are noticing that "Christian" in bio trend you guys are doing and its outing you. youre gonna join her soon unless u manage to save your own ass.

I didn't know it was a trend to put "Christian" in the bio, actually. I put that there because I know it's nice to see for others like me and they feel like there are others who share their faith. It's kinda similar to how some people put preferred pronouns in their bio even if they're cis; because it normalizes being yourself in the space you are in.

As for deactivating, if the October 2020 schebang didn't make me deactivate, I don't know what would! I'm not doing anything wrong by being a Christian, so I think I'll be fine.

That said, the "you're going to join her soon" makes it sound like somebody's out there checking profiles to see who's a Christian just so they can bully them and force them out of the fandom. (I'm not accusing you of doing so, Anon, just observing). Regardless of if they do or not though, I will stay. I know it feels amazing to find others like me in a fandom, so I will stay for those who are like me who want/need some support, even if somebody is out there trying to kick us all out. The newbies who come in don't deserve the chaos, and if they're Christian and need someone to assure them that they're welcome too, I will be doing that to the best of my ability <3

hello!! i really love the drawing challenge you did! You captured the style of the artists really well! umm but i had a question about Isasan347 version? the drawing itself is really cool but it reminded me more of another artist called Ladye-Zelda? especially the face. Isasans focus is more on the face and strong expressions and while Ladyes style is a bit similar, the way they draw facial features is different. i just wanted to know if perhaps you mixed up the references you used for the challenge? im really sorry if this comes across as negative, the rest of the challange like i said is amazing but isasans simply looks more like Ladye-Zeldas, so if you did accidentally mix them up i just wanted to give you heads up?

This is a very good question. My drawing was inspired by Isasan347. I love the very cartoonish way they often draw. My sketch was an imitation of their very simplest drawings to contrast with some of the others I chose for my challenge.

I have heard of the other user you mention, but I don't think I have seen any examples of their own art.

Of course when we're all drawing the same 9ish characters there will be similarities in the way that we draw them. But I think that is one of the wonderful things about the Zelda/Linked Universe fandom that brings us all together.

Hii! It has been a while, my apologies. There was some stuff that was making me slowly phase back from the fandom—but I’ve realized that now, and determined I’m going to be more involved. That includes sending love notes to more than *checks notes* 150 people, reconnecting with the lovely mutuals I’ve so unfairly abused with my absence (yes I’m a drama queen ok), and also writing an essay on why I love Wild and his characterization so much. It’s. Long.

Anyways, im doing great! Writing a lot (even though I haven’t posted 💀), excited and also scared for the Lu write-a-thon that not-freyja and I are hosting on June 30/July 1, just generally in a great mood this morning. How are you? What have you been up to lately? Working on anything fun you’d like to share?
