#L3x is my favorite character

So I finished listening to Puppetshade Chronicles 1 a while ago but I thought I’d do a post displaying my reactions to various moments throughout the songs (continues below the cut)

L3x and the Merchant

(this is said in a joking context, when I get emotional about stuff I tend to call it stupid or dumb)

Now L3x was already my favorite character, but this made it even better. I just felt so bad for him, I don’t do drugs but I do know what it’s like to berate and beat yourself up when you make a mistake (probably didn’t explain this right but you know what I mean)

Rainu & Mir 2

From the first Rainu & Mir song I was rooting for both the teams to win, I knew it was too good to be true though.

As you can see I was very excited to hear that Bunker23 had the chance to prepare for this attack.

Crimson Rose is a very interesting character, in fact none of these characters are bad in this album. Sure I may not enjoy Jenna or CR as much as L3x or the Messianic Twins but I can’t not like them, they’re all so well written.

A Flame in the Darkness

As you will see my dilemma of wanting everyone to win gets worse with this song, I get very emotional as this album comes to an end.

I love the overlapping parts that Paul has put in here (although some parts are a bit louder and harder to hear than others) with each of the characters parts being a chorus or a certain line of their song that they get to sing in their.

The Extermination of Bunker 23

(at this point you may notice that I’m in a group chat with some friends, I first listened to the album in a call with them so this was my attempt at finishing the album with them)

(yes I know that I got TNARH and TGTAC mixed up, I realize this later)

this last song (the whole album really) was a rollercoaster of twists and turns, and I loved every second of it!

I will continue this post sometime soon, because I am on mobile I can only add 10 photos at a time :(

Ok that’s the most of it! I have some additional photos but I’ll include that in a highlights post. You might have noticed that this review starts from “L3x and the Merchant”, that’s because I started listening to the beginning with my friends so I at the time there wasn’t a need to do commentary over text (just know that it was about the same reaction that these songs got, Paul Shapera really is amazing at making music)
