Something about “Escape from the Woods” by zartophski
WIPS & more:
I made legends mer-form resemble an oarfish. The red/pink fin is on brand and the heralding of disaster is quite fitting I think!
I realized while working on this that I wasn’t going to finish it, but I liked certain aspects so w/e :}

What is Octopath Traveller about? I know I can just Google it but I think it's more fun asking you
Tumblr media
First of all, here's a cool track to have in the background because I don't run the @octopath-traveler-ost blog for nothing:
Both Octopath Traveler 1 and 2 feature 8 Charakters, each one with their own Story, Motivation and Goals. Each Charakters Skills are dependent on their job, which are the same in both games, So every Squad got the Cleric, the Scholar, the Merchant, the Warrior, the Dancer, the Apothecary, the Thief and the Hunter.
Being a classical JRPG, these stories are always one of the best part of both games. Admittedly some are stronger than others, but there never was a story that I didn't like or outright hated.
Also sometimes the range between these stories is so fucking funny. Like in OT2 you got Thronè-"I was born into this criminal Organisation and have been trained into a merciless killing machine by my "father", but I'm sick of this bloodshed and need to get my freedom"-Anguis being in the same party as Agnea-"I want to become famous and put smiles on everyone's faces"-Bristarni and it's great.
Here's another cool track:
Besides the story being great, HOLY SHIT I LOVE THE COMBAT IN THIS GAME!!!
Battles in this game are the classic turn based battles you know and (hopefully) love. OT throws in some cool original ideas to spice it up:
1. Weaknesses
Every Enemy has specific weaknesses and shield points. If you attack one of their weaknesses they lose one shield point, and once all shield points are gone you
2. Break
Them. Once an enemy is broken, All damage done to them will be critical and they won't be able to act for the next round. BUT, in return, after they get out of the break status they get to move first round.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Trying to figure out when is the best time to break / not break an enemy is especially important when it comes to boss battles. And don't worry, I WILL gush about how cool the boss battles are later on :)
3. and BOOST
I LOVE the boost system. Holy shit the boost system is awesome. Me and the Boost System will have a wonderful summer marriage.
The way this works is, that at the start of every round each of your party members gets one(1) boost point. You can use these points to power up your attacks, heal more or attack an enemy multiple times. When it comes to the use of these points, always remember the wise words: "Critical Thinking is the Key to success".
Also there's nothing more satisfying than L + Ratio + Defense down + Attack Up + Max Boost Brand's Thunder + 12473 points of damage.
4. Latent Power
this one was added in OT2. Now every character also has a Latent-meter that fills up everytime they get hit or break an enemy. once the meter is full, a character can use their latent power, which differs from charackter to charakter. For example, you can act twice in one round, instantly replenish all of your BP or unlock new abilities!
New Track, because now I get to talk about the boss battles!
Boss Battles function basically the exact same as normal Battles. Each one has weaknesses, you have to try and break them to get all the damage in, e.t.c.
BUT, they have much higher shield points than you averages Monster, can change their weaknesses in the middle of the battle and can often attack up to five times in one round!
Boss Battles are absolutely part where the Break & Boost System shines. You have to figure out what he's weak too and what kind of attacks they have!
The [SPOILER] bosses and especially the [BIGGER SPOILER] Fight really test how well you learned the mechanics of the game, and, by now I'm someone who could beat [SPOILER] or [SPOILER] in my sleep.
Also LOOK AT THESE DESIGNS!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I LOVE YOU PIXEL ART! I LOVE YOU OCTOPATH TRAVELER ARTSTYLE! I'M GONNA TALK ABOUT THE ARTSTYLE NOW OK!
And when I say "Talk" I mean I'll show you more pictures:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nevermind, three have to be enough because Tumblr is a little bitch who hates fun.
But still, see this lighting? This atmosphere? I wanna eat those pixels.
Also, last point I promise, the music. There's a reason I keep adding tracks onto this post. Yasunori Nishiki we do not deserve you. My Playlist is 67.3% Octopath Ost and I'm not ashamed to admit that.
Anyways, thank for asking! But, before you think "Wow! These games sound awesome and I should definitely try one of these out! Immediately!", I have to admit that, if you aren't a fan of classic JRPGs then these unfortunately won't be the games for you. But if you like this genre then what are you waiting for????? Get up and buy one of them! Please!
Oh before I forget it, I have one last ost for you :)
Go on.
Click the play button.

High Resolution LED Display: What You Need to Know
Now, with the rapid development of modern technology, High-resolution LED displays have become a frequent visitor on various occasions, whether it is large outdoor billboards, indoor exhibition displays, or home entertainment systems, it is indispensable. So, what do we need to know about High-resolution LED displays?
Tumblr media
High resolution LED display is an LED display device with high-definition resolution. It consists of countless tiny LED lamp beads forming pixels. Each pixel can emit light independently. Through precise arrangement and control, it presents a delicate and clear picture effect. Compared with traditional display technology, High-resolution LED display has significant improvements in many aspects. First of all, in terms of brightness, LED display screens have excellent brightness performance and can show vivid pictures in various environments. They can remain clearly visible even in bright environments. Secondly, in terms of contrast, the LED display can present a fuller and more vivid picture, with deeper blacks and brighter whites, making the picture more layered. In addition, in terms of color reproduction, High-resolution LED display can accurately restore the color of images, making the displayed content more realistic and vivid. In general, high resolution LED displays not only provide an excellent visual experience, but also have excellent performance in various technical indicators, and have gradually become the preferred display device on various occasions.
What is the display principle of High-resolution LED display?
PWM technology: In order to achieve high brightness and clear display effects, high-definition LED displays usually use PWM (pulse width modulation) technology. This technology controls changes in display brightness by continuously switching the LED on and off. Specifically, the average brightness is adjusted by changing the proportion of time the LED is on in each cycle (duty cycle).
Full-color display: The high-definition LED display can achieve full-color display, which is achieved by combining three different colors red, green, and blue LEDs. By adjusting the brightness and color ratio of these three color LEDs, almost any color can be mixed to present a colorful image.
What are the advantages of High-resolution LED display?
High resolution: With higher pixel density, a high-resolution LED display can present more delicate and clear images, allowing viewers to experience the ultimate visual enjoyment when watching at close range.
High brightness: Even in outdoor strong light environments, this kind of display can maintain a high brightness level, ensuring that the picture is clearly visible without being interfered with by external light, bringing a better viewing experience to the audience.
Wide viewing angle: Through advanced packaging technology and circuit design, this kind of display screen has a wider viewing angle range, and the audience can get good visual effects no matter what angle they watch from, avoiding the problem of limited viewing angles of traditional display devices, and providing viewers with Provide a more free and comfortable viewing experience.
Energy saving and environmental protection: LED lamp beads have the characteristics of low power consumption and long life, making High-resolution LED displays outstanding in energy saving and consumption reduction. This is in line with the concept of modern green development. While saving energy costs for enterprises and individuals, it is also conducive to reducing the environmental impact, reflecting the harmonious symbiosis of technology and environmental protection. Therefore, high-resolution LED display is increasingly used in different fields and has become an important tool for modern information display and dissemination.
youtube
What are the applications of High-resolution LED display?
The application fields of high-definition LED displays are very wide, including but not limited to the following aspects:
Advertising media: As the main display tool for outdoor billboards, shopping mall windows, and other places, high-definition LED displays can attract more eyeballs and improve advertising effects.
Sports events: In stadiums, stadiums, and other places, high-definition LED displays can broadcast game images and event information in real-time, bringing an immersive viewing experience to the audience.
Stage performances: In stage performances such as concerts and plays, high-definition LED displays can be used as background screens or interactive props to add more creativity and highlights to the performance.
Commercial exhibitions: In commercial activities such as exhibitions and expositions, high-definition LED displays can display product information, corporate culture, and other content to enhance the effect of the exhibition
Conclusion
High-resolution LED displays, as one of modern technology’s important achievements, have penetrated every aspect of our lives. Understanding its basic knowledge and advantages will help us better utilize this technology to serve our life and work. Hope this article provides you with some useful information! Of course, if you have any other questions about High-resolution LED displays, please feel free to contact us for answers.

Lost in pixels: The story of how I started doing AI-art and my struggles
Crossposted from the platform Medium
The start of it all
Ever since I started my Twitter/X account in 2022 dedicated to AI-art I was not sure what the point was in even to make one. All I knew was that I had been greatly interested in the world of it and went on to share the art pieces on the platform.
Late 2022 and 2023
The first few weeks were fun until I discovered that the posts were not gaining much attention. It was enough to make me feel anxious about the future of the account… The niche interest was probably not something needed and sought after, and it showed when I went on and shared more and more art, no views or interactions for the stuff I shared. Fast-forward some months, and we have reached 2023, the year of despair. I felt the need to change something in the way I posted stuff. Variation was the thing I probably required so that perhaps more people can relate to the things I post. For example: Broaden the type of AI art that’s posted and what type of image creator is used.
So far I have used Novel AI, Midjourney, and DALL-E 3. I went with Novel AI until I discovered DALL-E 3 that creates much more consistent results with the prompts used to make an image. No more interest than before… Alas, I think it was expected since I was not posting anything else other than AI stuff along with some random retweets from accounts like NASA, casual art sharers, other fellow AI art enthusiasts, deep pondering anime quotes etc. In the end it was all the same, 150 to 200 views per post was the absolute maximum and the ratio of views and likes/retweets were bad, at most five likes. Awful consistency across posts was at hand and I had no idea what to do other than hope that if I keep posting at least weekly something would change… I am talking about 2023 mainly since that was the first full year of posting stuff on Twitter/X.
Only thing that was positive about the whole 2023 on Twitter/X was the slowly increasing amount of followers, which is as of writing this 100-followers. I feel quite proud of that number if I am honest.
2024: Changing lanes
Entering 2024, I have become growingly disappointed in myself. It is clear that I failed to create a following and a way to attract people to interact with me and in the posts. The feeling of being aimless is a thing that I deeply dislike because I have sought to reach a level of being “noticed” and “discussed”. I am truly lost, and I don’t know what to do with my Twitter/X account. Even reaching 20 likes in one post would be awesome and would boost my motivation to keep the account going.
Blogging will help me?
Medium blogging platform is a chance for me to express myself in long format texts. Here I write about anything that makes me ponder and feel the need to talk about it. Writing’s not a thing that I am good at, but I’ll try my best to improve the skill. Commas are still difficult for me as a Finnish person where the punctuation rules are different, who knows if I’ll learn them at one point, right?
Anyway, Medium is, in short, a hub for my thoughts. If Twitter/X doesn't work to make me a bit more known, then I hope this kind of method will work. I absolutely do not know what’ll lie ahead of me in the future… Maybe more followers or not… That is the thing, there is nothing to aim for other than perhaps thinking that me posting my knotted and fuzzy views will help me in any way. Time is ticking, and I just keep on posting AI-art on Twitter/X and nothing happens… Only abyss remains. A place where I am, where I’ll probably stay as there is no route to use so that I’ll keep on improving and cumulating my skills of posting on social media. Sincerely, I want to be an influencer… Just a person that gets noticed for his uniqueness and the way he thinks.
Not seen, only mirrored away: A poem of despair, made with AI
Ending, ending of thoughts and actions,
hopeful for things that are thrown away like the rubbish that was left into a bin.
Mornings are not there for the unseen, only for shining stars.
Moments were only shared for vibrant birds in the digital realm.
Rough edges of destiny loom, closing in fast.
Unattainable dreams are only above me, in an unreachable way.
I have truly failed.
Testing new waters
Going forward, I will most certainly need to change the way I post on X. Only sharing AI-art and retweeting is not enough at all, and I must get more creative with the way I communicate. That will help with things, certainly, since people seek a person that stands out with her/his way of interacting with people. But who knows? Maybe starting this blog was the correct move after all because it shows how I talk, act, and look at things. That is seriously important since it can be the key to people’s minds.
I can only hope that this year will be fair and life-changing for me.

CAS Learning Outcomes
Identify your own strengths and develop areas for personal growth:
Reflecting on drawing pixel art. I discovered a knack for creativity, but realized I needed to improve my attention to detail. In exercising. I found strength in discipline but saw the hella need for real flex. Writing encouraging letters honed my empathy & highlighted the importance of improving->communication skills.
Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process:
Drawing pixel art presented challenges in, mastering, new software, exercising pushed my physical limits: writing letters required emotional resilience and da bunda. Each challenge honed specific skills + fostered adaptability + willingness to embrace the unfamiliar, L+ratio.
Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience:
Initiating pixel art involved researching tools. Techniques, planning exercise routines required setting realistic goals, and writing letters demanded thoughtful organization of content,,(taking the L for instance). These experiences taught me th3 value of effective :/ planning and the impact :| it has on the overall success of an endeavor :3.
Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences:
From refining pixel art thru countless iterations mate. Persistence; the adhering to; the exercise routines, and consistently writing wannabe encouraging letters. Such commitment! Such perseverance! Like god forsaken! Exhibited in these activities underscore the importance of resilience and determination in achieving personal and CAS goals, fr ;) .
Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively:
Collaborating on pixel art proj3cts showcased the power of shared ideas, exercising with others. This fosters a sense of camaraderie. Joint efforts in writing letters amplif1ed the impact of encouragement :3. These experiences highlighted. The significance of teamwork & communication & leveraging diverse strengths.
Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance:
While drawing pixel art, I explored themes. Addr3ssed are environmental concerns. Exercising heightened my awareness of health-related global issues. Writing letters etc.. E.g. The connection with the broader challenge of uplifting hospitalized children globally. I.e. these experiences underscore the importance of connecting=>personal pursuits with broader societal concerns :>.
Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions:

4K HDR 60FPS Dolby Vision
"4K HDR 60FPS Dolby Vision" refers to a high-end video format that combines several advanced features: - 4K resolution: This means the video has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, offering four times the detail of standard 1080p Full HD. This higher resolution results in sharper, clearer images. - HDR (High Dynamic Range): HDR enhances the contrast and color range of the pixels on your display. This means brighter whites, darker blacks, and a wider color gamut, leading to more realistic and vibrant images. - 60FPS (Frames Per Second): This frame rate is smoother than the standard 24 or 30FPS typically used in films and TV. A higher frame rate like 60FPS provides a more fluid and lifelike motion, especially beneficial in fast-paced content like sports or action scenes. - Dolby Vision: This is a type of HDR developed by Dolby Laboratories. It's an advanced form of HDR that provides frame-by-frame dynamic metadata to the TV, allowing for more precise adjustment of brightness and color levels. Dolby Vision is known for providing even more detail in the dark and bright areas of the picture, as well as supporting a wider color palette and enhanced accuracy. Overall, a video with "4K HDR 60FPS Dolby Vision" specifications will offer a very high-quality viewing experience, with sharp resolution, enhanced color and contrast, smooth motion, and advanced HDR rendering. OLED, which stands for Organic Light Emitting Diodes, is a type of display technology widely used in modern TVs, smartphones, and computer monitors. Here are some key aspects of OLED technology: - Pixel-Level Lighting: Unlike traditional LCD screens that use a backlight, each pixel in an OLED display generates its own light. This allows for precise control over the brightness and color of each pixel, leading to exceptional contrast ratios and true blacks, as pixels can be completely turned off. - Color Accuracy and Vibrancy: OLED displays are known for their excellent color reproduction and wide color gamut, making the images on-screen appear more vivid and lifelike. - Viewing Angles: OLED screens have excellent viewing angles, meaning the colors and contrast remain consistent even when viewed from sharp angles. - Response Time: OLED displays typically have a faster response time compared to LCD panels. This results in less motion blur and is particularly advantageous for fast-moving video content and gaming. - Design Flexibility: Since OLED panels don't require a backlight, they can be made thinner and more flexible. This has led to the development of innovative designs like bendable smartphones and rollable TVs. - Energy Efficiency: OLEDs can be more energy-efficient than LCDs, particularly when displaying darker content, as each pixel emits only the light needed to create specific colors. However, OLED displays also have some downsides: - Burn-in Risk: OLED displays can suffer from burn-in if static images are displayed for extended periods. This is less of an issue with newer models and with varied content. - Cost: OLED technology is typically more expensive than traditional LCDs, though prices have been decreasing as the technology matures. - Brightness: While OLED displays offer excellent contrast, they often don't get as bright as some LED-lit LCD displays. OLED technology is highly regarded for its superior picture quality and is often used in high-end TVs and smartphones for a premium viewing experience. Read the full article
