Hunie Pop actually paassed the Bechdel test in almost all conversations. I can only name two where it doesn't off the top of my head.

The basis for the Bechdel test is

1. Two women

2. Talk about

3. Anything but a man

Later it was added that it has to be two Named women but literally every female character in Hunie Pop you see talking is named so first checkmark.

As some dialoge changes depending on the players gender i will not account for those. If you play a girl they only talk about dating or banging other girls, if you play a boy they obviously talk about guys (except for kyu who is chaotic bisexual regardless)

Every time to neet a new girl in Hunie Pop she is talking to another girl. Counting the main 9 girls that's 10 conversations they have about their hobbies and lives and wishes and jobs and whatever else before they start talking to you. Also in one of her text messages to you Venus tells you that she and Kyu have been talking about what in your apartment can be misused as a sex toy.

In the two mainline games i can only think of two times that the girls talking about a male character is once in Hunie Pop 1 where Kyanna and Tiffany talk about Kyanna's son Philip (the only named male character in the whole franchise i believe) who the latter is babysitting for her friend while she works her job as a hairdresser. And then in Hunie Pop 2 Brooke sometimes mentiones her husband and i think once talks to one other girl about him, it might've been Jessie but i don't fully remember that one.

So yea, that's my essay on why Hunie Pop is amazing and the Bechdel test is not the only thing you should consider when looking at media

Noticing a trend in these stories? The mega-bitch is a mega-popular subject for fanfiction. This is a great story if you’re looking for a twist on the “OC romances the hunies” genre and features some fascinating backstory for Audrey and Kyanna. Interactions feel very true to character. It’s funny, it’s sexy; it’s a helluva read!

A unique twist, not just for young Audrey, with her origin as a sweet as sugar Christian girl, but also for Kyanna, who’s presented as the bullying alpha bitch of their school. An interesting read to see how peer pressure brings out the worst in some.

The relationship between Audrey and Kyanna was always a topic of interest to me - what happened that made these two drift apart? Was it the pregnancy that forced Kyanna to drop out of school that put a wall between them?

My second question is who would win in a fistfight though - Kyannna works out, but Audrey’s supercharged with a mighty bad temper, so..
