I know I need to calm the fuck down first but one word to describe episode 6: STRESS!!
📍I love seeing Hyun-woo and Hae-in having a...sort of second honeymoon in Germany but I couldn't really enjoy every scene because I'm stressing out at how fucking OBLIVIOUS the Hong family is like bitch y'all are surrounded by snakes and they're so complacent 😭😭😭 I mean it's not really their fault that there are opportunists who'd earn their trust first then slither their way to bite them in the ass, but I just find it ironic at how protective they are at their family business and wealth but they can't see through the REAL people who has every intention to bring them down.
📍Speaking of which, I have read a fan theory somewhere that Mo Seul-hee is the mom of Eun-seong and Da-hye. Could be, OR Grace could be Da-hye's mom considering how Grace acted towards her. But why are they so keen at bringing the Hong family down?
📍Maybe it's just me but I don't think Da-hye is that bad, I have a feeling that she'll eventually come to her senses and take Hyun-woo's side and expose Eun-seong and co.
📍My overthinker/delulu self thinks that Soo-cheol and Da-hye's baby is actually Hyun-woo and Hae-in's kid. I mean, it wasn't shown how they lost their baby...yet. So Hae-in either miscarried, or she gave birth to a still born child? But what if the child is actually alive and one of those evil bitches cooked up some shit to make it seem like Hyun-woo and Hae-in's baby died, and then that baby was registered as Soo-cheol and Da-hye's kid? I know it sounds insane, but we're only on episode 6 so more crazy shit could happen in the future episodes, you'll never know. But my normal self says I've watched too many Filipino dramas growing up (and yes, that shit happens a lot in Filo-dramas).
📍Speaking of that kid, another theory is...what if that kid is actually Eun-seong and Da-hye's? Soo-cheol is a dumbass, and again, those bitches could have manipulated that baby's DNA test result or something. Again, that's just me being an overthinker, also I hate my Filo-drama mindset.
📍Aunt Beom-ja being so concerned about Hae-in and her dad but I also appreciate the fact that she respected her niece's request to not tell anyone about her illness. I also hope that she'll be able to help Hyun-woo clear his name and uncover Seul-hee and gang's dirty little secret.
📍BUT Y'ALL KNOW WHO STRESSED THE SHIT OUT OF ME THIS EPISODE? BAEK FUCKING HYUN-WOO!!! I am so freaking annoyed that he didn't tell Hae-in about the divorce when he had the chance. He was probably worried at how Hae-in would react plus the latter was going through medical treatments so he probably didn't want to put too much stress on her, but Hae-in was bound to find out either way so...yeah I do get why he chose to keep the divorce to himself but he could have just told the truth and suck it up, and perhaps they could communicate better when it comes to issues like this.
📍One thing I noticed about Hyun-woo is that he's brave in so many ways but also a coward on one thing. I mean he talks with Hae-in about nice things and all, and he is his wife's confidante, but I don't think I've ever heard him talk the way Hae-in does, meaning he never had the balls to talk to his wife about the..."unpleasant" side of their marriage. Hae-in was able to talk to him about her illness, the last will and testament that her mom pressured her to write, and Hyun-woo didn't even think about bringing up the divorce papers.
Prior to episode 5, I really thought that Hae-in was the one who shut him out but it was actually the other way around. Wifey may seem cold and nonchalant but if there's one person she'd listen to, it's him. Perhaps he doesn't want to say something that would upset Hae-in but the point is...she's his wife, she's supposed to know what he thinks, how he feels about certain things, even the not-so-pleasant side of their relationship. I really hope that in the next episode or the episode after that he'll be able to communicate better.
📍Hae-in's mom is terrible af. Imagine blaming your own daughter for the death of your son. I mean she didn't deserve to lose a child, but it's unfair to put all the blame on Hae-in (like why?). It's not like she endangered herself on purpose, and she had the audacity to be upset when Hae-in did something nice to her in-laws? Like what is wrong with this woman? Why can't see realize her own mistakes?
📍I kind of teared up when Hae-in was telling Hyun-woo about the things the latter should do when she dies. She could die, and this show might give us a bittersweet ending but when that time comes I'd be really, really hurt. Also, Hae-in confessing that the only reason she wrote her will about Hyun-woo not getting anything should they divorce was so that she'll be allowed to marry him 😭 (just shows she fought hard for him and she'll do absolutely anything to be with him). God I hate her mom! And yes the epilogue was so cute, now we know that they have always been in-love with each other. But I guess...they need a time-out 🤷.
📍Hae-in called Hyun-woo "yeobo" 🥹🥹🥹

Hospital Playlist (2020, 2021)
Tumblr media
This show was great! Some of the medical stuff was a little too real (for my taste), but the characters were the best! It's great TV, where you just get to follow around these interesting people with cool jobs for a year or two of their life. What's not to enjoy?
What Worked
The scenes with the band. All the friendships. Most of the romance stuff. The thoughtful approach to medical issues. The fact that they avoided most of the typical medical drama tropes. The cute little kids (especially the actor that played Lee Ik-jun's son). All the scenes with the five just hanging out!
What Didn't Work
The pacing was a little slow sometimes, which I didn't have a problem with, but I know bothered some people. Some of the medical stuff, but again that's more of a preference.
The Performances
This is a show with a huge ensemble cast and lots of guest stars. And the writers are good, so they make sure and give each of them a few moments, at least, to shine. There's no way to cover everything without writing a huge novel. So I'll stick to my favorites.
Jo Jung-suk as Lee Ik-jun. This guy was just so much fun to watch. All of the funniest moments on the show were centered around him. All of the cringiest dad jokes also featured him. I never got tired of watching him.
Jeon Mi-do as Chae Song-hwa. I loved this character, and this actress. The biggest "in-joke" this show ever did was hire an experienced musical theatre actor and make her pretend she couldn't sing for two seasons. And it was still charming to watch! She was the heart of the show, and we need more smart, goofy, nerdy characters like this on TV.
Yoo Yeon-seok as Ahn Jeong-win (Andrea). It took awhile for me to warm up to this character, because he felt too good to be believed. But once we got to know him, and saw more about his point of view, he became one of my favorites.
Junk Kyung-ho as Kim Jun-wan. It took longer for me to warm up to this character, but that was mostly the writing. By the end of the first season, I really enjoyed watching him be the grumpy straight-man for all the antics going on. I also really liked his relationship with Lee Ik-sun, even though the arc felt a little manufactured.
Kim Dae-myung as Yang Seok-hyeong. The show did really good on the medical stuff with this character, but less good with the everyday life stuff. He had to deal with some of the most sensitive and heartbreaking situations and the actor and the writers handled them all very well. Worth watching because of this.
Kwak Sun-young as Lee Ik-sun. I saw her in Encounter and she was really enjoyable, especially when they let her break out some of her comedy skills, but she wasn't particularly memorable. She was great in this role. Lots of good chemistry with both her romantic arc and with her family stories. Just charming and funny and the show did a good job of letting her shine. The romantic arc had a little fake drama added, but the actors still made it work.
Shin Hyun-been as Jang Gyeo-ul. The show took its time with this character, and didn't really bring her to the front until season two. But I liked her interactions with the other characters, and her romantic arc was really good too. She handled the family drama stuff in it particularly well.
Ahn Eun-jin as Chu Min-ha. I feel like the character is kind of a mirror for her romantic interest in the show (Seok-hyeong). She got a ton of character stuff and was forced to stand to the side in alot of the medical stuff. Ahn Eun-jin basically carried the romance arc for season two (which is partly on the writers), but she made it fun to watch.
Ha Yoon-kyung as Heo Sun-bin. This was one of the actor's earlier roles, but she did a good job with what they writers gave her. You can see why they started giving her bigger roles later on (especially Extraordinary Attorney Woo), though she was definitely a minor character here.
Everyone else: Again, there are so many people and the guest stars / "patients" show up occasionally later on, which is nice when you can remember who they are. The two med-student twins were fun to watch. The old people antics were enjoyable, and the actors for them did a good job with the drama when it was called for. There were lots of adorable child actors that rarely got annoying. Just alot of good talent showing up when needed.
TL; DR:
I'm not usually a fan of medical dramas. The last one that really hooked me was maybe ER and that was such a long time ago it may as well be the stone age. But I loved this one. The actors were great, the show was serious when it needed to be, but was not afraid to joke around and that created a really good balance.

The battle in the basement of the apartment building, where we see Nam-san use a shotgun to blast his way through some of the doctor’s ‘enhanced’ individuals, is a total exhilarating blast. Ma Dong-seok has been a powerhouse for most of his career post Train to Busan, but he sends people flying whenever he throws his fist or pulls the trigger. _Badland Hunters_ also has to break a record for most decapitations in a film. **Full review:** https://bit.ly/bdlndhntr MovieGuys: Badland Hunters does something things well, others just passably. Action is wall to wall and well choreographed.Special effects are excellent. Characterisations are solid if predictable and the acting is not to be sniffed at. However, the story is unremarkable, with a climax that feels, well, anti climatic. In summary, an okay but hardly exceptional watch, that would have benefited from more creativity on the storytelling front. Ritesh Mohapatra: “Badland Hunters: A Visually Striking Action Spectacle with Narrative Shortcomings” In this post-apocalyptic action thriller, Badland Hunters, while suffering from a repetitive and clichéd plot and uninteresting characters, excels in stunning hand-to-hand choreography and scintillating action set pieces. The film benefits greatly from the expertise of its veteran stunt coordinator turned director, known for his work on Train to Busan. Commendable world-building, visionary concepts, and excellent VFX are hindered by conventional writing. The short, crisply edited runtime avoids unnecessary elements. Don Lee’s exceptional portrayal of Nam-san, with exhilarating action sequences, overshadows the film’s narrative weaknesses, making it a guiltily satisfying popcorn-worthy entertainer, particularly for adrenaline enthusiasts. MY ID GANGNAM BEAUTY //  KDRAMA DİZİ YORUMU
UYARI : Yazılar genel olarak spoiler içerebilir. İçermeyedebilir.
İmdb puanı: 7,4 Benim Puanım: 6
Drama: ID: Gangnam Beauty (English title) / My ID is Gangnam Beauty (literal title)
Hangul:
Director: Choi Sung-Bum
Writer: Gi Maeng-Gi (webcomic), Choi Soo-Young
Episodes: 16
Date: 2018
Language: Korean
Country: South Korea
Cast: Lim Soo-Hyang, Cha Eun-Woo, Jo Woo-Ri, Kwak Dong-Yeon

What should I watch during the Lunar New Year holidays? Wave, Jeong-ju's recommendation
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For the 2023 Lunar New Year holiday, which will start on the 21st, Wave has carefully selected and released dramas, entertainment, movies that are good to watch with family, as well as series and music festivals to run regularly.
Dramas and variety shows that are good to watch with family
▲ 'Mutual Brain' starring Jung Yong-hwa and Cha Tae-hyun
Goodbye to the banal rhetoric. The time has come to investigate with brain science. “Brain Cooperation” is a brain science comic investigation drama about cool-headed neuroscientist Shin Haru (Jung Yong-hwa) and humane detective Geum Myung-se (Cha Tae-hyun). It depicts a story in which two main characters with opposite charms work together centering on brain disease.
'Brain Cooperation' is a colorful genre of comic, investigation, roco, and human, and the story unfolds without a chance to get bored. In particular, by adding comedy to the exotic material of brain science, it provides fresh pleasure. The neat visual beauty of CG, which visually expresses the structure of the brain for easy understanding, is also a point to watch. During this Lunar New Year holiday, why don’t you fall in love with the charm of brain science through “brain collaboration”? Let's feel the catharsis watching the two men lying on the bed and solving various cases.
▲Lee Seon-gyun and Moon Chae-won starring in “Fab”
In the first half of 2023, the drama’Bobjyeon’, one of the most anticipated works, landed on Wave. 'Law' is a drama dealing with an exhilarating revenge play against a cartel armed with 'Law' and 'Zen'. Money dealer Eun-yong (Lee Sun-kyun) and legal technician Park Joon-kyung (Moon Chae-won) join forces to draw a journey against unjust power. It presents a story full of twists, a reasoning that makes your hands sweat, and even a touching feeling.
Actors Lee Sun-gyun and Moon Chae-won attracted attention with their immersive acting. Writer Kim Won-seok of the drama 'Descendants of the Sun' and director Lee Won-tae of the movie 'The Villainess' meet with a team of luxury actors to enhance the quality of the work. This Lunar New Year, let's relieve the accumulated stress by watching the exhilarating appearance of refusing to be silent in front of corrupt power and fighting hotly.
▲ Gian 84, Lee Si-eon, Panny Bottle… ‘Around the world as soon as I was born’
If you are tired of the repetitive boring daily life, we recommend a regular drive called ‘Around the world while you were born’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘circumnavigating Taegye’). Webtoon writer and broadcaster Gian 84, actor Lee Si-eon, and professional travel YouTuber Pannibottle. 'Taegye Round' is a travel entertainment show featuring three people who can't help but have fun and travel to South America.
A grandiose destination and an unprepared process called 'travel destinations you must visit before you die'. It is noteworthy that the trip is a combination of these two contradictory things. 'Twilight Taegye' caught viewers' attention with its raw charm while facing various crises such as road blockade and altitude sickness. If you want to go somewhere during the Lunar New Year holiday but the reality doesn't allow it, let's go on a fun corner trip with them.
▲ ‘X of Crisis’ starring Kwon Sang-woo
Wave, who has emerged as a master of real-life comedies such as ‘I’m Going to Blue House Now’ and ‘You Raise Me Up’, once again created a sensation with the original drama ‘Crisis X’. 'X in Crisis' is a 6-episode comedy drama in which 'Mr.
Actor Kwon Sang-woo takes on the role of Mr. A and presents a realistic performance that has been hit hard by the years. Along with Lim Se-mi as Mi-jin, Jeo's affectionate companion, Seong Dong-il as Heo Jun, a mentor who helps Mr. Director Kim Jung-hoon, who collaborated with Kwon Sang-woo and Seong Dong-il on 'Detective: The Beginning', shares laughter and comfort with writer Kwak Kyung-yoon, who created a sensation with the 'SNL Korea' series.

Mientras tanto, Do Kyung Seok (Cha Eun Woo) asiste a la misma universidad. A Do Kyung Seok le comienza a gustar Kang Mi Rae.

BTOB en los episodios 7 y 16 (Only One For Me).
