Eurovision Fact #571:
Tumblr media
The co-writer of singer Bashar Murad's Söngvakeppnin song, Einar Stefánsson, has called for an independent review of the votes for the Super Final of the contest. Fans reported having difficulty voting for Murad during the competition, as the phone number for voting via SMS would redirect to Hera Björk's number. Also, if fans attempted to vote with the call-in number, Murad's number was blocked or marked as spam for some people.
RÚV has not responded to the call for an investigation, but they have admitted there was an error in the voting for SMS votes for both singers, and "neither [singer] received the SMS votes they were due from the app."
The broadcaster also noted that the number of SMS votes was so small in comparison to call-in votes, that removing them would not have changed the results.
Murad had a lead in the votes in round one of the contest, but ultimately lost in the second round. However, this is not uncommon, by the Super Final: "Over the past ten editions of the show, only five contestants have retained their first round lead at the end of the second voting period."

"“Wild West” co-writer calls for independent review into Söngvakeppnin 2024 results following grand final voting error … as full breakdown reveals Bashar Murad won the first round," wiwibloggs.com.

Man, found the whole ass Ayakashi soundtrack, and it really is a shame that some of these songs didn't get carried over into Mononoke. I understand why they didn't, they used the songs that worked best for the stories they were trying to tell in the show and those tracks didn't make the cut, but as an OST enjoyer, it still makes me a little sad
On the other hand, it IS neat to go back through it and see which ones did get pulled back into Mononoke (like the cool flute line when Kusu's facing down his own fear in Umi Bozu actually came from a different version of Oboroge than the one I'm used to, turns out)

Anime Talk - More on Kamonohashi Ron
Remember that novel of an analysis I did back in July on some anime I'm super-excited for? If not, look here. One thing I realized I completely forgot in all the excitement and the hard work I put into it, is the summary, the most important part! The airdate is now only a few days away, so it's high time I did it, don't you think? There are also some more exciting updates on the OP and ED soundtracks and new cast members. So what are we waiting for? Let's have Jackie drone on some more about the story that she thinks everyone should care about but no one does.
As I said, let's start with the summary.
So, Ron, as he will probably be called by everyone, was a star detective student at BLUE Academy in London, until he was kicked out due to a certain incident. Five years later, Toto, a young police detective who has a lot of motivation for his job, but not a lot of skill, is assigned a new case. He is adviced by a supperior to go seek out an acquointance of his, a former genius detective. Toto does this and this is how he meets Ron and as they work together, they learn that they are a perfect team and continue to solve cases, with the goal of solving the Bloody Field Trip case, the case that got Ron expelled from BLUE Academy. The genres, as listed on livechart.me are Detective and Mystery.
I hope I managed to make it sound as interesting as I think it is.
Let's move on to the opening and ending soundtracks.
As mentioned in my previous post, the OP is going to be done by UNISON SQUARE GARDEN. The song is called Ikenai Fool Logic. I just listened to a bit of it, and it sounds good.
The ending soundtrack is Lip-sync by hockrockb. I checked them out on YouTube. It seems like they are more of a pop-group, but I liked what I heard, that one song I checked out. I hope this song is good too.
When I posted back in July, we knew the voice actors of Toto, Ron, Spitz and Amamiya. Now two more characters and voice actors have been added to the list.
The first one is Usaki Mofu (Mofu Usaki in English). She is going to be voiced by Touyama Nao. Among others, she is currently active in the role of Sasaki Chiho from Hataraku Maou-Sama!! 2nd season. She also played one of the main characters, Mogami Asahi, in the anime Kami Kusu☆Idol which aired last year and which I also made a post on here about. Based on these characters alone, I'm not too worried (at the moment).
The second role is Kawasemi Omito, surprisingly, he is played by someone who's name I knew immediately. The voice actor is Fukuyama Jun. He has had quite a few big roles in his long career, including Okumura Yukio from Ao no Exorcist (Blue Exorcist), Kazuma in Noragami and Korosensei from Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (Assassination Classroom), among so many more that I had to pull myself together to not list them all. I admit, I like his work. He has skill, and if the roles I have listed are no indication, I think he can pull off Kawasemi's seriousness while making him seem just as rediculous as I think he is. I will actually be looking much forward to this.
I just watched the 2nd preview of the show. If you are curious, here is the link. I like the animation. I think they caught the expressions really well. I wasn't sure about Ron's voice at first, but I think it might turn out to be a good fit for him after all. But they have a lot of the pictures from the manga in the shots they show, so at this point, it seems promising, very promising.
The airdate is October 2. 2023 at 22:30 (JST). I hope I have time to write something on here about my thoughts on the first episode.

Bollywood Dance Classes: An Ideal Choice for Beginners with Ucanji
Bollywood! Oh, the gift of Bollywood. Is there a more freeing dance form out there? Quite possibly, not. The choreography can range from anything between super easy and oh, ‘so complex!’ This is precisely why, even when you seek Dance classes in India for Bollywood-style dancing, you’ll find the same for the entire range of dancers from beginners to experts.
Tumblr media
In fact, we’d go as far as saying that if you’re a novice dancer, and are having a hard time picking your first dance style to learn, Bollywood could be an easy choice!
Think about it!
-        It’s the most common type of music played in clubs, weddings, and other special occasions. That means you will have no problem finding an avenue to flaunt your new skill, from the moment you begin to get the hang of it.
-        The familiar lyrics will be your guide on the dance floor, even when you haven’t prepared a routine. And if you’re dancing in a crowd, you’ll always have enough enthusiasts around you to seek inspiration from. Basically, one can dance to this type of music for as long as their stamina allows. The best part is, the more you dance, the more stamina you build for the next round of dancing.
-        The movements and common steps you’ll learn in Dance classes for Bollywood are easy enough to get your body used to move around the way it’s supposed to move around while dancing.
-        On the other hand, the steps are just enough technical that it will prepare your brain to form a strong sense of coordination between rhythm and movement.
-        And of course, the high energy of most Bollywood music will give you a great workout opportunity, every time you get on the dance floor. You end up using your entire body when grooving to Indian music, so, not only are you setting yourself up for a nice weight loss workout, but also an amazing cardiovascular workout.
-        Bollywood is informal by nature - with no limitations of boring rules and guidelines. It has elements from dance forms from around the world, including Indian classical, salsa, jive, and basically, any other dance form at all. Any swift motion of the body could pretty much be considered a Bollywood dance form as long as you follow the beat and do it with grace! And a little attitude, of course.
Tumblr media
Are you sold, yet? If not, just think of the fact that Learning Bollywood dance is as good for your soul as it is for your mind and body. Because let’s face it, Bollywood means happiness! If just listening to our beloved homegrown music can make you so happy, imagine what effect fully engrossing yourself into it, on the floor, will have on you?
Here are some music choices, if you are a true beginner. These are easy to dance to songs, whether you want to take formal training or dance away in an unhinged fashion -
●       Kesariya
●       Balam Pichkari
●       Dance Meri Rani
●       Kusu Kusu
●       Vaathi Coming
We hope you found the inspiration you were looking for to get started on your journey to dance. Learning Dance will be one of the most joyous experiences of your life!
