#Kusanagi barely blinks when he sees the lion on his couch

Homra wakes up to see Mikoto turned into a lion by a strain and go to S4 for help but the same thing happened to the blue king as he was turned as well (canine or feline, sorry idk his animal self). Lion Mikoto keeps bothering Reisi and the blue king is not having it

I’m mostly just imagining Homra having to take Mikoto to Scepter 4, which turns into something like Totsuka leading a lion around on a leash while Anna sits calmly on Mikoto’s back and Kusanagi just hopes no one spots them. Also imagine Kusanagi’s face when he walks into the bar one day and there’s a lion sitting on his couch, like he was out getting groceries or something and isn’t aware that Mikoto ran into a Strain while out on a smoke break. Kusanagi walks in and looks around, wondering if Mikoto went out, and that’s when he spots the big ol’ lion just sitting there on his couch. Kusanagi pauses for a long moment and is just like I need to tell Fujishima to keep his pets outta the bar, which is when Anna comes downstairs and walks right over to the lion all ‘Mikoto.’ Kusanagi’s starting to tell her to be careful around the lion when he realizes what she just said, Anna’s just petting the lion as she looks back at Kusanagi and says that this is Mikoto. Kusanagi can’t quite believe it but he knows that Anna wouldn’t lie about something this big. Totsuka shows up around this point too and he’d probably be all amused by lion Mikoto, like he’s urging Anna to start braiding Mikoto’s mane just as Mikoto gives this big yawn showing all his teeth and Kusanagi’s like please try not to get killed while I call Seri-chan. Strangely he doesn’t get any reply from Scepter 4 and decides they’ll just have to take Mikoto there, figuring that Scepter 4 would be the most likely to have knowledge of who might have done this and how to change Mikoto back.

So they all head over to Scepter 4 with Totsuka trying to coax Mikoto down the road because he keeps tying to stop and nap. Anna gets to ride on Mikoto’s back and it makes Kusanagi a little nervous but Mikoto’s also very calm and docile around her and she doesn’t show any fear whatsoever so Kusanagi knows that means that she’s confident that even in this form there’s no way Mikoto could hurt her. They show up at Scepter 4’s gates and Kusanagi’s trying to think of what kind of explanation he’s going to give Scepter 4 about why Homra’s second and third in command are showing up at a rival clan’s doorstep with a lion in tow. There’s no one at the gate though and it’s open so Kusanagi decides they may as well go inside, Totsuka’s all here King this way and Mikoto just walks calmly into the building. They’ve just walked inside when there’s a small commotion from nearby and suddenly this majestic wolf comes walking out of one of the offices. It stops and poses, sparkling elegantly, and Kusanagi’s just like 'don’t tell me…’ which is when Awashima comes running out all Captain please don’t wander off on your own. Kusanagi’s like 'Hello, Seri-chan,’ waving politely as she glances up and looks between him and the lion standing there in the middle of the hallway.

They figure out pretty quickly that it must have been the same Strain and everyone like gets together to discuss what to do about their Kings (I’m imagining like Awashima and Akiyama sitting across the table from Totsuka and Kusanagi while Anna and Fushimi get to watch over the Kings, Anna is sitting next to Mikoto petting his mane while Fushimi is being aggressively groomed by doting papa wolf Munakata). They’re going over shared information when they hear the sound of something breaking, everyone looks up to see Mikoto’s actually gotten up and like knocked over a vase while moving to sniff Munakata. Munakata jumps to his feet, tail waving slightly as he just reaches up and cuffs Mikoto’s face. Kusanagi and Awashima both try to scold their respective Kings but they aren’t listening at all, Mikoto’s making this low growl and huffing at Munakata who’s darting around him all light on his feet and standing between him and Fushimi (all while Fushimi stares at the scene like '….’). Awashima coldly tells Kusanagi to make sure his King doesn’t cause any trouble and Kusanagi replies that doesn’t it seem like the Blue King is the one starting things here and Totsuka wonders if they should call a zookeeper.
