🎸 meet THE CONTESTANTS !

the sixth annual battle of the bands, hosted by the fix, is looking to be the most competitive one yet. a new rule allowed solo artists to enter this year, and now seven bands or artists are gunning to beat last year's victors, black flash.

meet THE KAMOS !

noritoshi and choso kamo are an alt music duo making their debut this year. they’re both juniors and have amassed quite the online following, mostly consisting of girls thirsting over them in the comments, which they’re strangely oblivious about. noritoshi studies nursing and choso is majoring in history.

meet THE CULL !

the cull is a new wave band more accustomed to playing garage and basement shows. rin amai, ryu ishigori, takako uro, and charles bernard entered the battle of the bands on a whim while high out of their minds. they’re loud and unapologetic, and the crowd loves them.

meet ANGEL !

angel is just a stage name for hana kurusu, a senior communications major who minored in theater because she just can’t stay away from the stage. she’s got a big voice and a bigger fanbase, but competing in a battle of the bands as a solo artist is no easy task.

meet MOTION CAPTURE !

motion capture is a pop girl group made up of the hasaba twins and their friend and roommate remi. the twins’ adoptive dad might be the co-owner of the bar, but that doesn’t mean they get special treatment—the battle of the bands is all up to the crowds. they’re all sophomores. nanako studies marketing with an emphasis in social media, mimiko is in art, and remi is pursuing social work.

meet D!SH0NORED1 !

ryomen sukuna, known on soundcloud as D!SH0NORED1, is both campus-famous and utterly unknowable. he’s a fifth-year student and nobody really knows what his major is, but they do know that he deals drugs (always clean, never laced) and always has uruame around somewhere.
