this is what makes the ending for Miss Lookalike/Kuronami/Rei Q in 3.0+1.0 even sadder imo. she just wanted to help hold the baby and harvest the crops :(

not to make angst out of a fucking gag but also thinking about the silly au rei in the final episode makes me think about how different rei would be if she didn’t have literally the worst dad ever. like, no, she probably wouldn’t have been the upbeat adhd whirlwind in the high school au lmao. but it does just make me think. because while all the pilots lives are incredibly marked by trauma, rei's the only one to have never had access to any sort of normal life. her entire personality and worldview is shaped from being isolated, groomed, and taught to see herself as a tool and not a person. and then i just get so sad that she never had any chance of a normal life where she could discover herself and what she is. she went from being abused and manipulated by gendō (which is made even worse with the implications certain scenes leave about their relationship) to becoming god. she never had any chance of living a normal life. and just like. fuck.

Valorant leaks reveal stormy new finisher in the upcoming Kuronami skin bundle

The Kuronami skin features a unique floating animation, loading bullets without direct contact. It draws comparisons to the Reaver collection due to similar reload animations and cloud-like bullets.

A standout feature is the finishing animation where a bullet creates a cloud around enemies, followed by a thunderstorm. This cloud can be shot and burst, a first in Valorant.

The skin collection offers four color variants: White, Black, Purple, and Blue.

The melee skin, inspired by the "kusarigama," has a contactless equip animation and a spinning propeller inspect animation.

The Kuronami skin collection includes the Melee (Kuronami no Yaiba), Vandal, Sheriff, Spectre, and Marshal. An exclusive livestream event will showcase these skins on Valorant's Twitch channel hosted by Shannon Williams, the voice actor for Jett, on January 8, 2024, at 10 am PT / 7 pm CET / 11:30 pm IST. Patch 8.0, part of Episode 8 Act 1, will introduce this collection on January 9 or January 10, 2024, adjusted for regional release times.

There's nothing like a good reload after a gunfight. What are some of the best reload animations in games? I've been playing Valorant lately and really enjoy the reload animations of some of the guns especially the Kuronami skins. Destiny 2 also has some great reloading, a personal favorite being the Centrifuse arc exotic Auto Rifle even though it's designed not to be reloaded haha. sorry the new bundle (kuronami) has awesome sounds, animations, and a great finisher but the skins themselves are very lackluster if you ask me, and certainly not worth $95. i get why they priced radiant entertainment so high but they cant keep getting away with this. it made sense for RES to be priced so high as each color variant had a completely unique finisher and inspect music. kuronami has the same finisher for each color variant and the melee is honestly the best part of the bundle
