opening dialogue of krish, a riekling rebel you encounter in morrowind's bloodmoon dlc:
Whoa! A [your character's race]. Ugly thing, aren't you. Too tall. What business you got at Castle Karstaag? And make it quick. No time to talk.
[You ask about the horkers that have been dying off on Solstheim's shores.]
Dead horkers? Mmmmm...rancid horker meat. You're asking the wrong guy. I know someone who might be able to help, though. But I've got my own problems!
[You ask about his problems.]
The master...Karstaag, that is...has taken off. Gone. Don't know why, don't know where. Didn't seem like he was coming back. So, some of the boys and I figured we'd take over the place. Dulk has been running the show upstairs. Moron. Toady. Master's pet.
compare that to the opening dialogue of the unnamed "riekling chief" in skyrim's dragonborn dlc:
You strong. Help tribe-kin.
[You ask why he took over Thirsk Meadhall.]
Hot fire. Cold dizzydrink. Happy tribe.
[You ask what he needs from you.]
Bilgemuck run. Prize beast, run. Fool tribe-kin, chase away. Bilgemuck fear. You bring, he follow you. Yes?
in short the franchise's anti-indigenous racism is only getting worse with each new installment
the difference between the riekling dialogue in morrowind and the riekling dialogue in skyrim is depressing

IPL 2020: Present tense, future imperfect for Chennai Super Kings | Cricket News

IPL 2020: Present tense, future imperfect for Chennai Super Kings | Cricket News
All great sports teams – be it Michael Jordan‘s Chicago Bulls of the 1990s or Leo Messi’s Barcelona in the 2010s – have a sell-by date. After long periods of dominance there comes a time when things begin to fall apart and MS Dhoni‘s Chennai Super Kings is no exception. Over the past month, the spectacular unravelling of the most consistent side and three-time champion has left many searching for answers. IPL 2020 POINTS TABLE For the first time in their 11-year history (they were banned for two years), CSK – with only three wins out of 10 – are staring at a non-entry into the last four stage. Over the years, Dhoni sometimes has beaten Houdini himself in conjuring acts and fashioning comebacks, but this time even he seems to have given up.
When coach Stephen Fleming after the loss to Rajasthan Royals on Monday said, “the team has run out of juice”, it was evident that everyone in the camp believes a miracle is out of question this year.
This sense of resignation has probably stemmed from the fact that Dhoni himself is a pale shadow of his former self as a player. Physically, he has kept himself fit, but Dhoni has become a liability with the bat in the middle-order. Not for once in the 10 games has he come close to winning a match for the team and young players like Ruturaj Gaikwad and N Jagadeesan have been dropped for much less. Add to that his stubbornness in team selection in the name of “process”, whereby he went on playing Kedar Jadhav when the right-hander had nothing to show. “What is process when the process of team selection itself is wrong?” former India captain Krish Srikkanth didn’t mince words during his commentary stint.
A few in the CSK camp believe they didn’t have much choice after Suresh Raina deserted the ship due to “personal reasons”, but the question that begs to be asked is why the likes of Ruturaj and Jagadeesan are in the team if they are not going to play. While some players from Tamil Nadu Premier League like Natarajan and Varun Chakravarthy are doing well for other franchises, Dhoni and the CSK management have been disinterested in backing home-grown talent and stuck with players like Karn Sharma, Piyush Chawla and Harbhajan Singh (who didn’t turn up despite requests from the management) who are past their prime.
“There’s no substitute for experience and you can’t buy game awareness in the market,” a senior CSK official had told TOI in 2018, when they did not go for U19 stars Subhman Gill, Prithvi Shaw, Shivam Mavi or Kamlesh Nagarkotti and instead chose Harbhajan, Jadhav, Karn and the likes. Yes, it did pay them dividends for two years, but now as we look to a difficult future, there’s hardly anything in the cupboard. Dhoni, though, believes to live in the present. He is the all-powerful boss of CSK and after this disaster the first thing he should do is hang up his playing boots and free a purse of Rs 15 crore to buy a bankable future star. The Jharkhand man is still a brilliant cricket mind and will be better at marshalling troops from the dug-out than out on the pitch.
But he needs an ‘active’ player to lead the team in the middle. Overpaid, indisciplined and under-performing superstars like Raina (Rs 11 crore), Jadhav (Rs 7.8 crore) and Karn (Rs 5 crore) should be asked to go so that CSK can open up huge funds for the next auctions or trade some meaningful players like KL Rahul, Kane Williamson or Rashid Khan from their respective teams before the auction. But that’s easier said than done because for every franchise the enemy No. 1 is CSK. They know how difficult it has been to beat the men in yellow over the past decade and now that the Chennai franchise is in a tight corner, it will be interesting to see if other owners allow them the leeway to become a force again. Once Jordan retired after 1998, Bulls never won the NBA title again, despite their desperate attempts at rebuilding. One can only hope CSK and Dhoni don’t go down the same path in the years to come.

Top movies that made Anushka Shetty the sovereign of Indian Cinema
After the massive success of the Baahubali franchise, Anushka Shetty has became one of the top actresses in the South Indian film industries. Even before Baahubali, she was one of the most sought after actresses. Contrary to the myth in South Indian cinema that age and weight play a huge factor, Anushka Shetty gave other actresses a run for their money.
Recommended read: Baahubali 2 Dubai premiere: Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and team clicked
Anushka Shetty started her career in films in 2005 with Super alongisde King Nagarjuna, and since then has been part of some phenomenal movies and delivered stellar performances. We look at top movies in her career that made her the top actress unanimously:
Saroja: Directed by Krish, Saroja stands as one of the best movies in Anushka’s career. She played the role of a sex worked in the film, and received rave reviews from critics and audience for her performance. Anushka was awarded the Best Actress Award by Filmfare South and CineMaa awards for her performance in Vedam.
Arundhati: Not many knew that a name called Jejamma existed till the time Anushka’s Arundhati released. Anushka donned the role of the queen with sheer elegance. Arundhati changed the direction of Anushka career’s. She also received numerous awards for her impressive performance in Arundhati.
Panchakshari: Panchakshari was on the similar lines of Arundhati but set in the modern era. Though the film tanked at the box office, Anushka was appreciated for her performance by everyone.
Rudhramadevi : Anushka Shetty played the role of warrior princess Rudhramadevi from the Kakatiya dynasty. Rudhramadevi was on par with Baahubali in terms of VFX and graphics, but could not reach the expectations of the audience. However, Anushka was hailed as the hero of the film.
Size Zero: The story of Size Zero was around multiple myths about over weighed women. The film was a decent success but Anushka’s dedication to gain weight and then lose it again put her at the top of the list.
Baahubali: Devasena, the warrior queen, required someone who has an extraordinary persona. And no other actress would fit the bill than Anushka Shetty, according to Baahubali director SS Rajamouli. The first part of Baahubali did not have much of her presence, but Baahubali The Conclusion was mostly about Devasena and Amerndra Baahubali.
Which one according to you is her top movie?? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below:

Chris Gayle opts out of CPL 2020

Chris Gayle has decided to opt out of the CPL 2020 due to personal reasons. The veteran opener has conveyed his decision to sit out of this year’s tournament to the franchise St Lucia Zouks, understands Fame Dubai with no decision yet taken on his future with the franchise.
The Zouks had struck a deal with Gayle as one of the marquee players in the range of US $130,000 – 160,000. Earlier in the year, after a bitter fallout with Jamaica Tallawahs, Gayle decided to join Zouks. Gayle, who made a return to Tallawahs’ set-up for the 2019 season, had noted that he was undermined by several people, including his former team-mate and the assistant coach of Tallawahs, Ramnaresh Sarwan. He had also lambasted Tallawahs chief executive Jeff Miller and owner Krish Persaud for “playing a game.
However, in May, the CPL committee decided not to constitute a tribunal after Gayle admitted that his comments were “damaging to the CPL Tournament and its brand”. In his statement, Gayle had also observed: “It was my greatest wish to finish my CPL career in Jamaica – playing in front of my home crowd at Sabina Park with the franchise that I had previously led to two CPL titles.”
Even though Gayle is the highest run-getter in the history of CPL (2534), he has struggled for form in the recent past. In the 2019 season, the Jamaican compiled only 243 runs in 10 innings for Tallawahs. The franchise also didn’t make it to the play-off stage.
The CPL is set to be held in Trinidad & Tobago from August 18 to September 10, subject to the government giving the green signal.

Kapil Dev, Srikkanth, Kambli could have invited bidding wars had IPL auction happened in 1980s and 1990s
New Post has been published on https://apzweb.com/kapil-dev-srikkanth-kambli-could-have-invited-bidding-wars-had-ipl-auction-happened-in-1980s-and-1990s/
Kapil Dev, Srikkanth, Kambli could have invited bidding wars had IPL auction happened in 1980s and 1990s
Some were rich in talent, some were mavericks and some others could bring in the crowds as pure entertainers. They were the Indian cricketers of ‘80s and ‘90s, who were unlucky to miss the gravy train called the Indian Premier League.
Take for example Krish Srikkanth. Could he have hooked a Pat Cummins bouncer without helmet? What about Ben Stokes? How would he have managed a slower delivery from Manoj Prabhakar? If Kapil Dev had to face Jasprit Bumrah in the 19th over, what delivery would the Mumbai Indians star have thrown at the Indian legend?
PTI looks at 10 former India players, who missed the IPL but had they been active today, they could have forced the Ambanis and the Shah Rukh Khans to loosen their purse strings a tad more.
1. Kapil Dev: Perhaps India’s greatest all-rounder across all generations. India’s best swing bowler and a batsman who hit sixes as nonchalantly as chewing gum. He would have opened the bowling, bowled an over in the middle and one at the death. And of course, he would have scored sixes in style. All teams would have reached for their cheque books for the ‘Haryana Hurricane’
2. Krishnamachari Srikkanth: He was a batsman way ahead of his time. A show-stopper, a man who brought in the crowds. He could pull Andy Roberts for a six, hook Patrick Patterson without a helmet and scored at run-a-ball in the ‘80s. He could have adjusted accordingly and may be CSK would have outbid every other franchise. (Why CSK? Because he is a Tamil?)
3. Vinod Kambli: A made-for-IPL cricketer, not only for his batting talent but also his sartorial flamboyance that fits well with the current streak of garishness. Diamond studs, gold-plated belts, a flaming personality with a game to match the brashness. He was Hardik Pandya multiplied by 10 in the ‘90s. A murderer of spinners, Kuldeep Yadav or Yuzvendra Chahal would have had sleepless nights. Sachin Tendulkar and Kambli for MI. Not bad at all.
4. Mohammed Azharuddin: Between overs 10 and 20, he could have been a nightmare for the bowlers. He knew how to find gaps with ease and his footwork against spinners was at a different level. At point or extra cover, he would have saved 15 runs in every game. Not just that. When fitness was considered perfunctory, Azhar stood apart with his blazing running between the wickets. A captaincy candidate and Eden Gardens’ favourite. KKR could have been his team.
5. Ajay Jadeja: One of the most intelligent cricketers to have ever played for India. He could pace the innings and the man who could finish games just like Mahendra Singh Dhoni did during his best years. Like Azhar, his agility on the field was nearly of today’s standards. A brilliant fielder, who could, may be, chip in with a couple of overs. Good choice for Delhi — whether Daredevils or Capitals.
6. Manoj Prabhakar: Swinging the new ball and those slower deliveries in death overs, his utility would have been exactly what IPL franchises look for. Not exactly a big-hitter but he could anchor the innings from one end if there was a good batsman at the other end. A good choice for Rajasthan Royals, a team where he could have expressed himself more.
7. Robin Singh: Another all-rounder, who could have invited intense bidding wars. A big hitter, tight medium pace bowler and a solid fielder within the 30-yard circle, Robin could have been any captain’s ‘go-to’ player. Sunrisers Hyderabad, which judiciously builds its team every year, could have been his home.
8. Ravi Shastri: Tight left-arm spin bowling, ability to bat at any position, including opening, and he could hit spinners for sixes. Shastri was the best captain that the Indian team never had save a Test and a handful of ODIs. In a parallel universe, he could have been the captain of Chennai Super Kings with his cricketing acumen.
9. Maninder Singh: In his best years, Maninder had everything, Flight, loop, deception and an attacking mindset. Left-arm orthodox bowlers are a necessity in T20 cricket and his talent would certainly have been rewarded. He could have been a hit for Kings XI Punjab.
10. Javagal Srinath: India’s fastest bowler in his time, he was every captain’s dream with his pace, bounce and consistent inward movement. He would have given early breakthroughs on more occasions than one. He could have been a real deal for the RCB at the Chinnaswamy. The Indian pacer that Virat Kohli missed all these years.
11. But none from the past quite matches up to Mahendra Singh Dhoni behind the stumps. The benchmark he set in Indian cricket, especially in the shorter formats, means that all wicketkeepers of the era gone by will find it hard to fit in.

S3 aka Singam 3 is the third movie in Singam franchise and 25th movie of Tamil actor Surya.
“Nan pakradhelam thingara onai ila, pasicha matum vetai aadra Singam. Ipo kola pasila eruke, yedhu ketachalum vetaiyadra verila eruke, yedhirla yevan vandhalum yeri midhichutu poite erupe.”
Plot Summary: Dhurai Singam, the universal cop (What they call him) is called to investigate the murder of the commissioner of police in Visagapatinam. After investigation what Singam finds out shocks everyone. He traces the man behind it and takes the challenge to him. What did Dhurai Singam finds out? Who killed the commissioner? How Dhurai Singam wins the challenge was narrated in a fast phased 155 minutes.
Directed by: Hari
Starring: Surya, Anushka Shetty, Shruthi Hassan, Soori and others
Music by: Harris Jayaraj
Distributed by: Pen movies
Running time: 155 minutes
Release date: 09-02-2017
Watch the trailer
Goosebumps review: Singam 3 is going to be another hit in Hari and Surya’s carrier. Despite few boring scenes the movie manages to lives up the expectation. Surya rules the screen. Goosebumps guaranteed, half a bunch at least.
Critics: [usr=3.75] | Audience: [usr=4]
Short review:
Taking a movie franchise to a new level in every installment is not that easy and making every installment a hit is a rare feat. But director Hari has done it each time in his Singam series. The 7 year old franchise has come out with another edge of the seat entertainer.
The story sets in soon after the title card. This time the backdrop is Andhra Pradesh. The first half an hour was slow. At times a stretch and yawn accompanies the fans. But once the investigation gets intense (especially the one day operation) the movie, like the camera of Priyan moves faster. The last hour an hour before the interval kicked out the dizziness.
Second half has every element to entertain the audience – except a song. When the cat and mouse game begins between Surya and the antagonist there was no time to look back. Everything Surya does get a whistle from the audience. The climax was much predictable one. Hari has left the franchise open again (Might have an idea of S4).
Scenes analysis:
As mentioned earlier the first half an hour or so was a drag. The item song adds up to the tiresome. This time Hari has brought a less familiar face (Don’t expect Anjali again) to dance. A 10 minutes flashback about Surya and Anushka was enforced only for a song – It was predictable. Though few fans (including me) were busy preparing their mind for a boring film, Hari was busy webbing the story around.
Once Surya kicks the one day operation the story kick starts as well. The investigation scenes pull back the audience into the movie. The truth behind the murder of the commissioner was a possible reality. Though the audience knows the true antagonist, Surya was kept unknown throughout the first half (Pity of him). Unlike Singam 2 the interval block gives the Antagonist the upper hand.
After interval the movie travels as a cat and mouse game. The scenes in Australia were predictable with few Hari’s touch. The way Surya catches the return flight to India was Goosebumps moment for Singam and Surya fans.
The hacking scenes were great for a movie but only technical team should answer the logic behind it. Each and every move by Surya in the second half brings in whistles. But the last fifteen minutes was a drag the movie again.
There are few emotional dialogues and proud moments as well. Singam plants himself as an Indian as well as a decent human being in every opportunity he gets.
Cast performance:
Surya as Dhurai Singam has done an exceptional job. His entry just reveals what he is going to do the entire movie. His expressions in the action scenes, his emotional dialogues and confident walk carve him as a real police officer in the audience’s mind. Surya fans will celebrate him throughout the movie for sure.
Anushka Shetty as Kavya was used only for a song and a few scenes. Her screen presence was comparatively less, but has done a good job. “A wife might want her husband to be away from problems, but not a lover” her Singam 1 dialogue proves to be right this time. Anushka was a worried wife rather than a motivating lover.
Shruthi Hassan as Vidhya aka Agni impresses in the initial scenes, but once the movie sets in she does feel like a burden. She was introduced along with Surya in the same scene. Her character was predictable in the first half and her actions too in the second half (Thank God she didn’t face the same fate as Hansika). Off course she has a song to dance with Surya.
Sharat Saxena as Reddy was not that powerful as an antagonist. His physic does threaten but not his actions. Thakur Anoop Singh as Vittal Prasad was a muscular antagonist. He has done a decent job. Though his slang was not understandable at times, he manages impress the audience.
Soori was roped in for comedy track which fails miserably. It slows down the phase of the movie and it didn’t create a moment of laughter as well. Robo Shankar who was seen as a comedian so far has got a serious role which he delivers with perfection (But watching his comedies were good rather than a serious police officer).
Krish as Surya’s assistant has delivered what was needed for the role. Radhika Sarath Kumar and Sarath Babu Impresses in the fewer frames they appear. All the other characters have done a good job.
Team Technical aspects:
Priyan, the man behind the camera has done a great job. His camera has traveled at the same phase as the story. Off course it travels from a continent to continent in seconds. Editing by V.T.Vijayan and T.S.Jay was good as well. They have placed the right scenes at the right time.
Harris Jeyaraj was one of the greatest disappointments I felt. The BGM was ok but not that appealing. Once the words Singam… Singam… fades away the BGM too fades with it. Wifi Wifi was the only line I could remember from the songs. I am sorry sir but that’s the truth.
Hari has put in lot of hard works. As I said before many franchise fails after the first movie but Hari still maintain the tempo of Singam. His screenplay was great and crisp. He hooks in the audience till the end of the movie (Except the climax). Though his stories are predictable he makes it exciting.
Negatives:
Though the movie was a fast phased and entertaining one there few side-lines as well. The first half an hour sets the story but fails to impress. Shruthi’s character feels like a forced one. Once her true identity is revealed she doesn’t have anything to do (So do what all the second leads do). Soori’s comedy track was another forced element. Most of his scenes slow down the movie.
There were many logical loop holes (Off course you guessed it. I am not sure about the hacking part but why all the officers except Surya and his team were double agents? One might feel the same when watching the movie. In the entire police department Surya was the only brainy. All the others wait for him to crack the code. Human bodies were thrown like a cricket ball throughout the movie. Surya is the only man shoots the criminals without failing.
Hehe: The theatre owners should distribute ear buds with the tickets.
Though the sidelines drag the movie the tight screenplay and Surya’s acting will never let you down. The Singam franchise saves itself with another hit for sure. Family audience will love it; if you are a lover of mass entertainer don’t miss it. Surya’s fans will go crazy.

He had also lambasted Tallawahs chief executive Jeff Miller and owner Krish Persaud for “playing a game”.
