At some point, just to see how Shiu would react, Toji tried to learn a few korean words. He also practiced saying Shiu's entire name with the actual korean pronunciation and when he found the result kinda good, he used it

According to the official fanbook, he has known Toji for more than ten years. I'm guessing this is because after leaving the Zen'in clan, Toji has been working odd jobs here and there, so they must've met around that time (since Toji has been doing a lot of dangerous jobs).

Kong Shiu is Korean and he was a former detective.

THE KILLER (2024) de John Woo : Encore une fois, si vous permettez

Toute discussion à propos des meilleurs réalisateurs d’action du monde se doit d’inclure John Woo, qui a mis en scène plusieurs sommets du genre, dont bien sûr The Killer (1989). Il peut sembler sacrilège de produire un remake de ce qui est considéré comme un chef-d’œuvre par la plupart des observateurs, mais quand c’est Woo lui-même qui orchestre la « réinvention radicale » de son film, notre curiosité est attisée. Écrit par Brian Helgeland et Josh Campbell & Matt Stuecken, le scénario de The Killer (2024) remplace l’assassin Jeffrey par la tueuse à gages Zee (Nathalie Emmanuel) et transpose le récit de Hong Kong à Paris. À la suite d’une tuerie dans une boîte de nuit où la chanteuse américaine Jenn (Diana Silvers) perd la vue, Zee ressent le besoin de protéger cette dernière, en plus de lutter pour sa propre survie alors que se déploie une intrigue impliquant la disparition de 100 kilos d’héroïne, un prince saoudien (Saïd Taghmaoui), un caïd français (Éric Cantona) et son lieutenant (Sam Worthington), ainsi que des flics ripoux… Mais il y a au moins un policier honnête à Paris, l’inspecteur Sey (Omar Sy), que tout semble opposer à Zee, jusqu’à ce que ces deux adversaires réalisent qu’ils ont plusieurs trucs en commun et qu’ils unissent leurs forces. Cela s’apparente à la relation entre les personnages de Chow Yun-Fat et Danny Lee dans le film original, sauf qu’il y a ici un soupçon de comédie romantique dans les interactions entre les protagonistes. De même, The Killer (2024) adopte une approche plus ludique que son prédécesseur, autant au niveau du ton que du style visuel, qui inclut notamment un usage répété de split-screen et d’extrêmes gros plans. À travers les photogéniques décors parisiens, on a droit à une multitude de poursuites haletantes et de fusillades sanglantes, où l’on renoue avec plaisir avec le sens du chaos contrôlé de John Woo, qui sait exactement quand recourir aux ralentis pour accentuer l’intensité. Le tout culmine par un climax épique dans une église abandonnée, où volent les iconiques pigeons et colombes du cinéaste hongkongais au son de la musique aux accents morriconesques de Marco Beltrami.  Sans surprise, ce remake n’égale pas son inspiration, mais c’est néanmoins un très bon film d’action où Nathalie Emmanuel et Omar Sy sont à la fois charmants et badass.

sariwa pa rin sa utak ni jungwoo ang itsura ni jaehyun nung nakita niya na kasama nito si doyoung sa quad. napakalawak ng ngiti ng binata kasabay ang pag yakap nito kay doyoung, isa sa mga bagay na dapat sana ay hindi na lamang nakita ni jungwoo nung araw na iyon. sumabay pa ang buhos ng ulan sa nadarama ni jungwoo nung araw na iyon, tumakbo palabas ng campus si jungwoo at sinagasa ang ulan, walang payong ang binata at dire-diretso itong tumakbo papalayo sa lugar kung saan ayaw niya makakita o makaramdam ng sakit.
