I’m very into Iwanaga’s whole vibe. He’s an adult man who acts like one. He’s confident, experienced, bold, and honest. He met Miyata again and immediately asked him why tf he bailed on him, and made his interest in trying again known. He’s unbothered about his assistant’s crush because he’s been clear that it’s not happening. He brought Miyata home but waited for him to wake up and sober up before he tried talking to him again and made his move. He’s got an easy sensuality and he’s unashamed about who he is and what he likes. Fantastic character.

For a brief period I thought we might be entering a BL slump, but if Japan is going to stay active like this I will be fine. This is the kind of energy I've wanted out of a second chance story for a while. I haven't had this itch scratched like this since maybe Our Dating Sim, but this feels a bit messier and a bit older. I'm very excited to get into the backstory and how Miyata is coping with his closet. I hope the girl who doesn't deserve this gets closure.

Synopses: One day, Akihiro Miyata, a mid-level editor at a business magazine, visits popular university associate professor Takashi Iwanaga to ask him to write an economics column. However, that person was his first love, whom he broke up with during his high school days! It has been more than ten years since he moved to Tokyo. Miyata, who had completely sealed off the past where he had a big love affair to the point where he promised to elope, was able to find a girlfriend who was thinking of marrying him and was living a “normal” life. Even after they meet again by chance, Miyata treats him as a business partner and vows never to fall in love with Iwanaga again. Takamatsu Aloha ( Tokyo in April...) plays the supporting role of Shiraishi Yuto, Takashi's assistant. And apparently he has a crush on him. And I can already tell I'll be rooting for the wrong guy in this triangle. Look at him.

Directed by Yasukawa Yuka (Jack O'Frost) Another very exciting detail. The production team got Ayumu Imazu to write a new song for the series. For those who don't know, he's the artist that wrote Sunshower, the absolute incredible song that was part of Eternal Yesterday OST.
