#Koby's hips don't lie

Ok so a continuation of my last post but overall i did some research and made some tiny notes about some gods and goddesses that represent the moon in some different cultures. So hre is the list and the notes i took.. (note that I never said they were good)

Egyptian: Khonsu- falcon, traveler, navigator, wanderer, healing, time, fertility, snakes

Chinese:Chang'e- rabbit, Hou Yi (Great Archer that shot down 11 suns) as husband. Other notable figures- Chang Xi: 12 moons/ Tu'er Ye: rabbit god that lives on the moon.

Aztec: Metztli- farmers

Australian: Bahloo- 3 pet snakes that are supposedly the origins of death. Other mention: Japara- wanderer, searching for redemption, grief

Greek: Artemis- hunters, fertility, chastity, wild animals

Norse: Máni- water tides, chased by a wolf, worshipped outside/no temples, time, fortune telling, crop planting and harvesting

Japanese: Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto-- night, Time agriculture, seasons, tides, and passage of time

Taking certain aspects into account the moon would likely be a God or deity mostly worshipped by pirates, nomads, & wanderers and frequent travelers. We can take into account that the moon is often tied to the sea due to the control of the tides that is frequently depicted with it. There is also the idea of time. Koby traveled thru time and his observation haki allows him to see just a few seconds into the future. The moon was used to track the passage of time. The moon never stays in the same place, nor can Koby, he is endlessly antsy. He always needs to be doing something to waste the time and can't be lazy.

Moving onto other topics. Koby wants to save people. Luffy does this constantly. However, Luffy is the mortal form or some whatever of Nika. Luffy has the Drums of Liberation. He is freedom at heart. Koby does not have this. What he could have is a little less exuberant. The most likely time for people to pour out their sorrows is at night. Lets say that the moon can hear these woes and prayers, whispered into the dead of night. Maybe he can't bring back the dead or force fate, but he can at least give a little nudge in on direction or another.

An interesting idea is that in my mind's far too creative eye it sees Koby dressed in arabic dancer outfits but with more chains to connect the fabric and holsters hidden to hide daggers and pistols. Hot and dangerous. That is moon god Koby to me. Mostly because the moon can be tied to lust at times so it'd be funny to see gentle shy Koby like this.

I'll probably try to right a fic based on this idea but this is absolutely tormenting me. I want a hot confident, and dangerous Koby. So long as Luffy isn't around. Then it's all bets off.♡♥︎♡♥︎;)

LUFFY

ZORO

MIHAWK

He smiled into his wine cup, sipping the drink as he eyed your movements. He leaned back into the bar stool groaning when you dropped it down and whined, you were going to be the death of him.

His attention on you and noone else, watching it bounce as you danced, the way you licked your lips to tease not only him but the others in the crowd. Chuckling a little when you smiled innocently in his direction, well aren't you cute.

The atmosphere, the clothes, the bloody song, it was all you, you knew the attention it brought but to be honest he wasn't all that surprised he knows you love the attention that you get when you move and You know,- "Eager Eager, a little patience won't hurt, querido [darling]." -He knows.
