My gran has an electric knife, and I think this is some metal shit, it’s very cool: it’s like a mini chainsaw. It’s got two sedated blades that go shshshsusushshsh next to each other- Idk how to put that into words.

Y'know one detail I love about Kobeni's design is how the knife she uses isn't even a combat knife, it's just a cooking knife. Specifically, it looks like a santoku which is a relatively common type of Japanese chef's knife (reference images below for both mang and anime tho it's defo more obviously a santoku based on the blade shape in the anime).

It's a neat detail cuz it kinda shows she might be so broke she cant even afford a dedicated knife for devil hunting (or can only afford a cheap kitchen knife for it) or that if public safety is buying her equipment they clearly haven't spent much on it (hinting that as a relatively new recruit they might see her as somewhat disposable).

(side note: i saw someone point out that the knife fashav’s holding has sky clan colors. naturally, gave me the immediate headcanon that it was kotallo’s knife as a kid and he gave it to fashav as a gesture of commitment)

wanted to share this but wasn't sure with who, so here I am: last night a fwb of mine came over and we experimented with him subbing a little bit - it's not our usual, but watching him gasp and strain upwards under me while I run a blade down his chest was _so_ hot I can't even explain. he's not much taller than me but he's a lot bigger and can pick me up easily, so having him give me that much power and trust... wow. god. I'm still riding that high.
