It’s been months and I’ve yet to recover from the smoking scene in chapter 2 of Wonders, too by @kirtlandswarbler so I drew a little fanart of it. Here’s my best interpretation of Corvo and Daud’s snazzy ceremonial uniforms, including Corvo’s feathered hat of course.

Something I appreciate in the Dishonored fandom is that some other fandoms are filled with too much ship purity culture where you get guff if you enjoy or even just respect a problematic ship™ (which may or may not actually be "problematic" in some way), and it's annoying and makes for a more hostile fandom environment from people on all sides imo, and then you have Dishonored fans who went "yes we will ship the sad wet rat dad with the man who killed his wife" and that is extremely valid of them tbqfh

Daud the rugged detective sneakin’ peeks at his android partner, who he can’t make up his mind to hate or to fall head over heels for.

Corvo, just trying to exist and do his job, but his partner stares at him when he thinks Corvo’s not looking, and blushes when caught.

Also, my own lil headcanon for this AU:

Corvo is made to follow regulation to keep all Android-identifying marks easily visible. So he wears a cute little hairpin that ***SOMEONE*** left on his desk so that he doesn’t have to cut his hair short. BECAUSE ***SOMEONE*** likes the way his hair looks long. Plus the man-bun. Because everyone loves a good man-bun. 😌
