Business trip (Day three)
It was a night of wild dreams. Liam fucked me harder than I'd ever been fucked before. At least when I was sober. I still don't know what happened the day before yesterday on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. Liam got up at 05:00 and drove to the wholesale market. Apparently he had planned for me to spend the night at his place. My suit from the day before hung neatly in his room. Next to it was my laptop bag. Was all this shit with the kitchen slave and submissive boot servant a crazy dream? It didn't matter at all. I have a whole lost day at the office to make up for. I shower, get ready and head to the client. The door is locked. My phone rings. It's Liam. "Good morning, Mack! Did you sleep well?" I ask, what the fuck, I have to get to work. "But not like this, Mack. There's a long hair clipper in the bathroom. And a wet razor. The door won't unlock until you're shiny bald." I want to protest for a second. I think about calling the police. But I reply, "Sure thing, boss!" And go into the bathroom. Half an hour later, I look at myself in the mirror. Everything as usual, right down to my eyebrows. I run my hand over my head, which is as smooth as a baby's bottom. Shit, I've soaked my underpants with precum again. I get a message from Liam. "Good boi!" And the door lock buzzes open.
When I set up my laptop at the customer's, I find a packet of tobacco, cigarette filters and cigarette paper in my laptop bag. And a Zippo. I am a professional. I don't get distracted when I'm working. I love my job. But I can't wait for my lunch break. Normally I would have sat down in a caf somewhere and had lunch. Now I grab a sandwich from the supermarket and sit on a park bench. And practise rolling cigarettes. I watch tutorials on YouTube. The first results are pathetic. But the fifth cigarette I roll and smoke before I get back to my desk is already quite respectable. I take two more cigarette breaks in the afternoon. Shit, why didn't I start smoking earlier?
When I arrive at the hotel in the evening, my room card no longer works. Damn, of course, I actually wanted to leave on Thursday. I go down to reception. The lady is very friendly, but explains that housekeeping had to pack up my things this morning because the room was occupied again. Unfortunately, I couldn't be reached on my cell phone. I ask her to call me again. She says it goes straight to voicemail. I look at my cell phone in amazement. Liam sends a message. "I've forgotten. You have a new number. I have your old SIM card." Shit, this has gone too far!
I ask the lady at reception if she has another room. She is sorry. There's a fair in town at the weekend. They are already overbooked and have a waiting list. Message from Liam: "Sorry, mate! I have a visitor today. But you can sleep in the back room of the snack bar tonight." I ask if I can pack my suitcase somewhere quiet and make a few phone calls. The lady says that one of the small meeting rooms is free. She even helps me with my suitcase, the two plastic bags and my laptop bag. I sit down at the meeting table and start by emptying my suitcase and plastic bag. My things are all there. And I'm used to packing my suitcase. Everything is neatly stowed away after a few minutes. But there were still a few things in the plastic bags that I hadn't noticed yesterday morning. Two monstrous dildos. Three jockstraps that were no longer fresh. A fat silver chain. And a hip bag. In addition to condoms, it also contained poppers, tobacco, cigarette paper and small plastic bags with dried flowers…. I put the chain on. It feels cool and chavvy. I check my mailbox remotely. Fortunately, hardly any calls, nothing important, most of them sent me an e-mail afterwards anyway. I change the voicemail text to say that I can't be reached by phone at the moment for technical reasons and to ask for an e-mail. Okay, whatever Liam is up to, at least he can't do me any more harm. And now maybe I should take him up on his kind offer of the back room. But first I really need a fag. I'm standing outside the hotel with my belongings, rolling a cigarette pretty routinely, when the next message from Liam arrives. "Mack, the place is full. Your shift starts in an hour."
The room behind the snack bar is a bit of a hole. But I have a locker where I can hang my stuff. There's a cot that's even already made up. And my things are on it. White jeans, white fine-rib undershirt, jockstrap, long soccer socks. All old and worn. But clean. Plus high rubber boots and yesterday's heavy rubber apron. The long rubber gloves. No hairnet. You look in the mirror and rub your bald head, which is no longer quite so smooth. Hehehe, you really don't need a hairnet anymore. You really look like a chav with that chain. The jockstrap absorbs the first drop of precum. It'll have more to swallow in the course of the evening.
The snack bar is indeed packed. Many guests are hooting and clapping when I come into the dining room at around 8:30 pm to clear the dirty dishes. More than one person slaps my ass or grabs my crotch under my apron. An astonishing number of the guests are wearing leather jeans. Most are wearing T-shirts or tank tops, some are bare-chested. No wonder, it's warm outside and hot in here. I quickly work up a sweat. I have to take off my undershirt and necklace, I just get too warm. But at least I'm getting on well with the dishwasher now and I've got the scullery pretty well under control.
Tumblr media
"Hey Mack," I hear Liam yell. "The toilet's blocked. Clean it up!" Damn, dishwasher was already an imposition. But toilet cleaner is a step up. The toilet is a disaster. The floor is a puddle of piss and the urinal is completely filthy. But the toilet bowl takes the cake. Hey, where can you shit all over it? It stinks like hell. But somehow… It turns you on. You know where the bucket and cleaning cloth are by now. I start by mopping the floor so I can kneel down to clean the toilet. And then i stick my arm deep into the toilet to clear the blockage. I'm covered in shit. Without thinking, I wipe the sweat from my forehead with my forearm. Behind me, there is howling. Four or five guys are standing in the doorway wanking. I don't want to wipe that shit away too. So I let them cum in my open face. More and more guys join them. I kneel in a growing mess. Full of cum. Pissed all over. Smeared with shit. Meanwhile, dirty dishes are piling up again in the dining room. Liam shouts at me that I'm not employed as a urinal but as a dishwasher and toilet cleaner. Little by little, the dining room empties. Around 11:30 pm, the last guest has left. With Liam in his arms. It takes me until 02:00 a.m. to get everything cleaned up and me, too, to be clean.
Tumblr media
I roll my first cigarette in hours. I stand outside the snack bar. And wank at the thought of the hot evening.

Butter Papers Endure Smooth Build-In for Usability
Tumblr media
This adaptable and heat-resistant paper has transformed how we bake, cook, and prepare food in commercial and domestic kitchens. Butter Papers are now a must-have item in kitchens worldwide, also called parchment and baking paper. They provide the primary function of keeping food from sticking to pans and baking sheets while baking and cooking. The silicone coating on these papers is what makes them non-stick. This coating creates a smooth surface that makes it easier to remove and clean up food items like cookies, pastries, and meats from sticking to the pan. They function as a significant barrier against high temperatures in addition to their non-stick qualities. They are helpful in cooking but also good for the environment.
Maintain Ease of Usage and Ability in Butter Papers
Its inability to burn and produce toxic substances when exposed to heat ensures the safety of the food and the cooking area. It is the best option for baking, roasting, and even grilling because of its function. Butter Papers are essential in preparing delicate meals like fish and vegetables and remain used in baking. The food cooks softly and evenly by keeping its natural flavors and nutrients, thanks to their ability to trap steam. This approach is becoming increasingly popular because it is easy to use and produces tasty, healthful dishes. They remain used in the candy-making industry as well. Thanks to the non-stick surface, candy, caramels, and toffees may be quickly removed from the pan without creating a sticky mess.
Butter Papers Help Save Time to Maintain Thickness
The sheets make the candy-making procedure more accessible and pleasurable. They offer a clean surface for spreading and molding the hot candy. The rolling out of dough is another significant use for them. By preventing sticking, these papers make rolling cookies, pie crusts, and pastry dough easier. Butter Papers help produce consistent thickness and save time, resulting in baked foods that are evenly baked. Some contemporary parchment papers remain unbleached and composed of sustainable materials, unlike traditional ones, which are sometimes covered in silicone. People concerned about their impact on the environment and want more sustainable options in their daily lives may find this Eco-friendly option appealing.
Earn Spotless Customization by Utilizing Butter Papers
Food is sealed and baked in this French cooking method using a folded paper pouch. Butter Papers are disposable; cleaning up after cooking is made more accessible. Users can save time and work by throwing away the paper rather than cleaning trays and pans. They are a well-liked option for both professional kitchens and hectic households because of their convenience. With many advantages that make baking and cooking more accessible and more enjoyable, they have emerged as a vital instrument in the culinary industry. These papers have earned a spot in the toolkits of both amateur cooks and professional chefs due to their excellent temperature resistance and non-stick qualities. They are indispensable in the domains of production, retail, and logistics.
Wholesale Boxes Increase Operational Effectiveness for Usage
These humble receptacles are the backbone of numerous sectors, offering a dependable and effective way to store, transport, and wrap items. Wholesale Boxes are available in a wide range of sizes, forms, and materials to meet the varying needs of enterprises worldwide, from little trinkets to massive appliances. Their cost-effectiveness is one of their main features. Manufacturers, retailers, and distributors can lower their overall cost per unit by taking advantage of economies of scale when they purchase large quantities. This cost-effectiveness is significant for companies that handle large product volumes. The money saved on these purchases can be put into marketing, innovation, and increasing overall operational effectiveness, among other company areas.
Add Separators and Inserts within Wholesale Boxes
It is impossible to exaggerate their adaptability. There are many different types of boxes. Their unique requirements and their intended purpose determine the material selection. For example, cardboard boxes widely remain used because they are affordable, lightweight, and recyclable. Wholesale Boxes are stronger and more durable than other cardboard boxes. These boxes frequently remain chosen when shipping bulky and delicate goods. Options for customization include changing the size, adding handles, separators, and compartments, printing logos and branding information, and combining other unique elements. This degree of adaptability guarantees that companies can discover the ideal packaging option for their goods, boosting their appearance and usefulness.
Wholesale Boxes Support Initiatives to Employ Trust
In the retail industry, boxes are essential for marketing and branding. Since packaging frequently serves as an initial point of contact with a product. Providing an excellent first impression is essential. Wholesale Boxes remain created to embody their identity by combining images, colors, and text that appeal to the intended market. Customers unintentionally become brand ambassadors when they bring the packed goods home. They extend the reach of this branding beyond the point of sale. Therefore, they can remain altered to satisfy the particular needs of every product. They support their overall sustainability initiatives in addition to being aesthetically pleasing. They come from recyclable materials, which satisfies consumer demand for greener practices.

When you first met Wanda Maximoff, it was under unusual circumstances. You were browsing through a farmer’s market a couple of streets over from your apartment, glancing at various booths as you passed them by. It was a quiet day, the sun was shining down brightly, the heat stifling. You liked to get your groceries from these marketplaces, the fruit and vegetables were fresh and fewer people touched them in comparison to a wholesaler franchise.
You had been stood at one of your favorite fruit stands, warmly greeting the elderly woman who ran the booth and observing some strawberries. Then suddenly, your purse had been snatched from your person. You were startled and caught sight of a man running down, your purse in hand. You intended to run after the thief, but he didn’t get far.
A red glow encased the man, stopping him in his place a couple of feet away from you. Your eyes widened, as did everyone else’s, at the sight. You turned your head over your shoulder and were mesmerized by a brunette woman, eyes red, and her head tilted slightly to the side.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
Considering you didn’t live under a rock, you knew exactly who she was; Wanda Maximoff.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
You had seen her on the news quite often. She was an Avenger who had unique abilities that surpassed the rest of the group. Your eyes followed Wanda as she walked past you and toward the man who was still trapped by a glow of red. You moved without thinking, following behind her. After all, it was your purse that had been stolen.
“Stealing purses from women? How desperate could you be?” Her Sokovian accent met your ears as you stood back slightly. Wanda tore your purse out of the man’s grip and released him. He looked terrified as he took one glance at the brunette before running in the direction he was originally going in.
Everyone in the marketplace went back to what they were doing while you stood in the middle of the walkway, frozen in place as the Sokovian turned her body around to face you. Television and photos didn’t do her beauty justice; she was captivating.
There was a glow that surrounded her, a silhouette of gold colliding with her brunette locks. Her eyes were emerald with the smallest specks of blue. Her skin was remarkably flawless. You couldn’t help but wonder what her skincare routine was.
Wanda smiled lightly at you, amusement present in her eyes. “I don’t have a skincare routine. I just wash my face with a bar of soap and call it a day.” You blushed profusely at Wanda’s words.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
Right… she could infiltrate people’s minds too. How could you forget something like that?
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
“T-thank you for helping me. I don’t know what I would’ve done if that dude actually got away with my purse.”
You mentally berated yourself for stuttering. The woman smiled at you and handed you the object, which you hung on your shoulder.
“Don’t mention it.” Wanda spoke dismissively with a wave of her hand. “Is there anything I can do to repay you? Maybe buy you a cup of coffee? There’s a really good cafe a couple of blocks down from here.”
You looked at Wanda hopefully, wanting to thank her for what she had done for you.
The brunette took a pause, contemplating her answer before nodding her head. “I could go for some coffee.”
You smiled brightly and pointed behind you with your thumb. “Well, it’s back that way.” You turned back and began walking, Wanda right beside you.
•❅──────────────── ᗢ ‎‎────────────────❅•
You sat in a booth with Wanda sat across from you. The cafe was fairly empty, which you were grateful for. Two cups of coffee were resting on the table, steam rising from the hot liquids.
“What’s an Avenger like yourself doing in a little farmer’s market?” You asked, taking a sip of your coffee as your eyes peered at the brunette over the rim of the mug.
“I always loved farmer’s markets. In Sokovia, my country, they were everywhere. So, I really love coming out to these sorts of places. It reminds me of home.”
You tensed at her words. Everyone knew about the rubble that Sokovia had become, and you felt kind of like an asshole for asking.
“I’m very sorry for what happened to your home.” You spoke sympathetically as you put your mug down gently. Wanda sent you a small smile. “Thank you. It wasn’t the greatest country. We were plagued by poverty, but it was still home.”
The Sokovian looked down to the mug in front of her in thought. You cleared your throat before speaking.
“Well, I know a ton of farmer’s markets in this area. I tend to alternate between them, depending on what I need at home.” Wanda’s eyes moved from her mug and to your own.
“If you want some recommendations, I’m your woman. Not to brag, but I’m kind of a farmer’s market pro.” You brushed off imaginary dust from your shoulders and Wanda let out small giggles at your faux cockiness.
“I would love some recommendations if it means you’ll take me on your shopping trips.”
You raised your eyebrow at her with a smirk. “If you wanted to spend more time with me, you should’ve just said so, Wanda. No need to be so coy.”
Wanda threw her head back, laughing wholeheartedly at your words. You couldn’t help but feel proud of yourself for making her laugh.
“Nah, I don’t want to spend time with you, I just want your street knowledge.”  Wanda managed to let out, slowly coming down from her laughing fit.
“Oh! So you want to use me? I mean, let’s be honest... I wouldn’t mind if you did.” You spoke dramatically and Wanda laughed once more.
You smiled as you observed her. Her head was thrown back, cheeks red, and eyes closed as the cutest giggles you’ve ever heard met your ears.
It was then you decided that her laugh was your favorite sound, especially when you were the one to evoke them from the Sokovian.
•❅──────────────── ᗢ ‎‎────────────────❅•
Since that day, you guys had exchanged numbers and Wanda had accompanied you shopping once a week. You’d drag the Sokovian by the hand through various markets and give her pointers on which stands sell the best produce. You even introduced her to the vendors, even if they already knew who she was.
It was a wonderful time and afterward, the two of you would grab lunch in random restaurants, conversating over anything and everything. You had to admit, you looked forward to the one day a week you got to spend with Wanda. So, it kinda sucked whenever she couldn’t make it, away on some sort of mission.
However, her absence made her presence all the more special. She took time out of her hectic schedule to hang out with you and roam around carelessly.
Truthfully, you were kind of a nobody, just another number to the extensive population of New York. You were the head chef of a fine-dining restaurant, hence your preference for fresh ingredients at home.
It baffled you that someone of Wanda’s caliber would want to spend time with you, but you definitely weren’t complaining.
As weeks turned into months, you had grown exceptionally close to the Sokovian. You had gone from seeing her once a week to every other day, well, when she wasn’t away for work.
Wanda would come over to your apartment, sipping on some wine as she watched you cook dinner. You figured she was intrigued by your gracefulness in the kitchen, but really, she was just checking you out.
She thought you looked amazing in your little chef apron, your hair pulled back into a ponytail to keep your hair out of your face. However, a few loose strands fell and framed your face perfectly.
“Your hair looks sexy pushed back.” Wanda spoke, pulling you out of your concentration. Your eyes moved upward, staring at the woman who sat on a stool on the opposite side of your kitchen island.
“Did you just quote Mean Girls?” You asked amusedly and the brunette shrugged, a small smile on her face.
“Yes, I did. And what about it?” You rolled your eyes at Wanda’s sassiness. You would continue your task, disregarding her comment as best as you could, trying to ignore how flustered the woman made you.
Once dinner was prepared, the two of you would sit on the couch and choose a random movie on Netflix. Those nights were always filled with commentary and laughter. It was so easy to relax around the Sokovian. Everything seemed to fall into place whenever she was near.
So, it was no surprise when you realized you had feelings for Wanda that surpassed friendship. You had been nervous about revealing how you felt to the woman, but when you finally did, you felt like an idiot for being scared.
“I have feelings for you. Like, I like you a lot.” You anxiously played with your fingers, scared of Wanda’s reaction. She had been sat on your couch right beside you and you couldn’t meet her eyes.
“Hey.” Wanda spoke, gently gripping your chin and forcing you to look at her. “I like you, too.” Wanda giggled when your eyes widened in surprise.
“What? Don’t look so surprised. We’re practically dating already.” You rolled your eyes at the brunette with a smile on your face. The two of you sat there, smiling at each other like idiots, but neither of you seemed to care.
Your feelings weren’t one-sided and a weight had been lifted off of your shoulders. After that day of confessions, you and Wanda became official.
Truthfully, not much changed between you two. You guys acted the same way you always did, but now kissing was added to the list of activities you would participate in.
ㅤ Wanda Maximoff is the love of your life; ㅤ ㅤ ㅤㅤㅤ ㅤ and you would never let her go.
•❅──────────────── ᗢ ‎‎────────────────❅•
3 Years Later
You had been dating Wanda for three years and things were going wonderfully. She had moved into your apartment with you. It was amazing, knowing that she would end her days in your bed and you’d wake up with her in your arms the next morning.
However, one morning, you definitely weren’t particularly happy with your girlfriend. She had dragged you out of bed at 5AM and rushed you to get ready. Wanda didn’t tell you where the hell she was taking you at the ass crack of dawn. Each time you asked, she just shushed you.
Thirty minutes later, you walked with Wanda hand-in-hand. You knew the route she was taking and your eyebrows furrowed in confusion. You remained silent until you made it to your destination, and your suspicions had been confirmed; she had taken you to the farmer’s market closest to your apartment.
The area was completely empty, there were fairy lights strung about and a basket full of strawberries sitting on your favorite fruit stand. The sun was rising and the sky looked immaculate, the sun radiating a blood-orange color, complemented by golden yellow undertones. It was beautiful.
Wanda let go of your hand and moved forward, turning around to face you. It was then that you noticed how anxious she looked. Seriously, it looked like she was about to puke. “What are we doing here? Is everything okay?” Your concern for the Sokovian was evident in your tone.
Wanda gave you the best smile she could muster in her nervous state and nodded her head. “Everything is okay. Wait, scratch that. Everything is more than okay now that I have you in my life.” You smiled at your girlfriend as she took a deep breath.
“Y/N. Do you remember this spot?” Wanda asked you curiously and you nodded your head, a laugh escaping your lips. “Well, of course. We come here like once a month, duh.” The Sokovian shook her head at your words, rolling her eyes playfully.
“No shit, Sherlock. I meant, do you remember the significance of this specific spot?” You instantly nodded your head.
“This is where a random ass dude stole my purse and you scared him with your powers.” You smiled triumphantly while Wanda giggled.
“Well, you’re not wrong, but yeah. This is where we first met.” Wanda let out a shaky breath and you stared at her curiously.
“When I first came to America and joined the Avengers, I was petrified. They say this place is the land of opportunity, but it didn’t feel like that to me.”
The Sokovian began to ramble on, her eyes locked onto yours as you listened intently.
“Coming to America wasn’t a choice that I made, but it was the only option I had. I used to think that I could never find a home in this city, but I was wrong. I found a home. Not with the Avengers or in the Compound where I lived, but in this little market.”
Wanda moved forward, taking a step closer to you and holding both of your hands in her own. “I found you.” Your heart fluttered at her words, heat rising to your cheeks despite the cold morning air.
“I’m so happy that I decided to come here that morning because if I didn’t, I would’ve missed my opportunity to find love.”
Wanda let go of your hands and you instantly missed the warmth. However, your eyes went wide when your girlfriend got down on one knee.
“Y/N, you brought hope and love into my life when I ran out of it. I never thought I would entertain the idea of marriage, but now… it’s all I can think about.”
A loud gasp surpassed your lips, your hands flying up to cover your mouth as Wanda pulled out a tiny red velvet box. She opened it slowly and inside sat a stunning engagement ring with a huge diamond sat on top of it.
“Will you marry me?” Wanda looked up at you hopefully as you stared down at her with tears springing to your eyes.
You instantly nodded your head as a few tears fell down your face. “Yes!” You managed to breathe out and the Sokovian was beaming.
She took your left hand in hers and steadily slid the ring onto your finger before kissing the back of your hand. Wanda stood up hastily and pulled your body into hers by the waist, passionately moving her lips against your own.
It was euphoric. The sunrise encased your figures in a golden hue, the cold atmosphere turning warm from each other’s body heat. You were two women who loved each other dearly, kissing in the middle of a vacant farmer’s market without a care in the world.
ㅤ The promise of forever hung in the air that ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ ㅤsurrounded you both; and you were free.
•❅──────────────── ᗢ ‎‎────────────────❅•
1 Year Later
A year after your engagement, you and Wanda had gotten married. The ceremony was absolutely gorgeous as you were surrounded by your family and friends. You would never forget the way Wanda teared up as you walked down the aisle, your father by your side.
You recall the small giggles you’d share with Wanda as the two of you stood at the altar. Neither of you could take it seriously, whispering quiet flirtatious remarks to each other. However, your laughs died down when you reached your vows.
“Wanda, you are my hero. Sure, you may save the world from threats for a living, but you do so much more than that. You save me from purse thieves and kill the spiders in my apartment because I’m too scared to go near them.”
Wanda and the audience seated in front of you had laughed at your words. You let out a shaky breath, Wanda sending you a reassuring smile before you continued.
“Whenever I order a burger, you always eat the tomato because you know how much I dislike them. You take care of the tiny cuts I get from work, sometimes being a little too dramatic about my injury.
You looked down at your hands nervously before returning your gaze to the brunette who stood in front of you. The white dress she had on was absolutely gorgeous, complementing her emerald eyes perfectly.
“But you’re always so gentle, you’re always there for me. I promise to do the same for you. I won’t kill the spiders for you, but I’ll be there whenever you need me, even when you don’t. I’ll be on standby anyway.”
You were entranced by the woman who stood in front of you. You weren’t too fond of public speaking, but it was easy when Wanda was with you; everything was easier with Wanda around.
“I’m so grateful for you, Wanda Maximoff. You are the other half of my heart and soul that I didn’t realize was missing, but now that I’ve found you; I never intend on letting you go. Sorry, but you’re stuck with me.”
You ended your vows with a small chuckle. Wanda’s eyes were focused on your own, shining brightly as a smile crossed her features. When her turn came around, you were practically a melted puddle by the end of it.
“Y/N, you are my love. I don’t think you realize just how deeply I love you. I would do anything for you. From fighting off an entire army to letting you eat some of my food even if you said you weren’t hungry.”
The room filled with laughter once more, a blush coming to your cheeks from being called out. Food just tasted better when it wasn’t your own.
“I’ll let you fight your own battles, but I’ll always be there for backup. I promise to you that I will do everything in my power to keep you happy and safe because you are my main priority.. I’ll be anything you need me to be; a best friend, a shoulder to cry on, a protector, a wife. You name it and I’ll be it for you.”
You were a crying mess when Wanda finished her vows. You felt an overwhelming feeling of love consume you. Her words struck a chord within you and just… god damn it, you loved her so much.
After the ‘I do’s,’ you and Wanda kissed as if you were the only people in the room. Honestly, it felt like it at that moment. You had just declared your devotion and unwavering love to one another.
It was the beginning of forever and you couldn’t wait to see what the future had in store for you both.
•❅──────────────── ᗢ ‎‎────────────────❅•
2 Years Later
Two years of marriage had been interesting. The first year went flawlessly, it was as if you and Wanda were on a high. It was the most intense and passionate year that the two of you had ever shared. The two of you had purchased a condo together, moving out of your former apartment.
Long nights of love-making that spilled over to the morning, working out together, and spending practically every single minute together possible. Of course, the two of you still had your respective jobs, but that never affected your relationship.
The married life seemed like smooth sailing, but little did you know, there was a thunderstorm not too far ahead. Treacherous waves and destructive lightning were in the near future, you just didn’t know it yet.
Things had started going south at a relatively slow pace. Wanda was progressively assigned to more missions, spending less time at home and an increased amount of time at work. You didn’t let it get to you at the time, it was the way life worked. Wanda was literally a superhero and the world always seemed to need saving.
This went on for several months. Waking up to an empty bed and going to bed the same way. You rarely saw your wife and you’d be lying if you said it didn’t upset you. It was a drastic change from what you were used to. You only saw the Sokovian for an hour or two, every other day.
And when you did see her, your time was filled with arguing over things that neither of you could really remember. There was a sudden halt to all forms of affection, animosity taking its place.
It was particularly bad the night you brought up the topic of Wanda’s presence and the lack thereof.
•❅──────────────── ᗢ ‎‎────────────────❅•
You had been lying in bed, your head resting against the headboard as you scrolled through your phone. The sound of the front door opening had caught your attention and you quickly tossed your phone aside and stood up, making your way out of the bedroom.
You were met with Wanda taking off her shoes in front of the door. Her eyes darted up to you, the annoyance that crossed her face had hurt you, not that you would tell her that.
“Hey, you’re back early.” You stated, maintaining a happier tone to avoid an argument. Wanda walked past you and toward the kitchen, opening up the fridge and grabbing a bottle of water.
She shut the fridge and turned around to look at you. “Why? Did you not want me here? Because I can leave if it’s such a problem.”
You were taken aback by Wanda’s attitude. You spoke one sentence and somehow managed to upset her. It was absurd.
Despite your growing irritation, you remained calm. You hated fighting with your wife and you knew that someone had to be the bigger person.
“No, it’s not a problem at all. I’m glad you’re here. You’ve been gone a lot and I miss you.” You smiled, walking over to your wife who still stood in the kitchen, wrapping your arms around her waist.
However, the brunette grabbed your arms and tore them off her body, whipping around to face you.
She was clearly angry and you didn’t understand how any of what you said could’ve pissed her off. “Yeah, I’m gone a lot because people need me. I can’t drop everything to be with you just because you’re needy as fuck.” Wanda spoke bitterly as she glared at you.
Your chest tightened at her words, flashbacks of your wedding day hitting you. You took a deep breath, gulping to prevent a sob from coming out.
“I thought I was your main priority or did you just make that up for show? To have everyone at our wedding believe that I’m of any importance to you?”
You were getting angry, your voice rose slightly. You felt your blood pressure rising, your body getting hot from your frustration.
“Wanda, I just want to see you more because you’re my wife. It has nothing to do with being needy, seeing you more than an hour or two every few days is a fucking standard in a marriage!”
You took a step back from Wanda as you screamed. You were fed up with being made out to be some clingy person when you were simply being a wife to the Sokovian. She rolled her eyes at you, crossing her arms over her chest as she gazed at you.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
“Well, then maybe our marriage was a mistake.”
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
Wanda spoke without thinking, not caring about anything other than going for the killshot and winning the argument. Her words seemed to have worked as you visibly deflated.
Your anger was replaced with sadness. You let out a dark chuckle at her words, shaking your head before walking into the bedroom slamming the door behind you, and locking it.
Wanda didn’t expect that reaction, but she didn’t care. All that mattered was that she had won the argument. She figured she would be sleeping on the couch tonight and she was satisfied with that. You didn’t want to see her and she didn’t want to see you.
So, the Sokovian brought her bottle of water over to the living room, placing it on the coffee table before crashing onto the couch. She got comfortable, closing her eyes as slumber took over her.
•❅──────────────── ᗢ ‎‎────────────────❅•
3 Weeks Later
Since the argument, things were the same, but different all at once. Wanda still went on mission after mission, but you had taken up more shifts at the restaurant. You didn’t want to be alone in the condo any longer than you had to be. You needed the extra money anyway.
When you were home, you were silent, no longer bothering to speak to your wife. You were two strangers that occupied a living space together. Wanda’s words played in your head like a broken record. It was all you could think about whenever you’d see her.
The promise of forever hung in the air that surrounded you both; and you were trapped. Your life had become a vicious cycle of tension and avoidance.
Your engagement and wedding felt like an absolute lie now. They always say the first years of marriage are the hardest, but you didn’t think it would be this difficult.
You and Wanda had petty arguments over the six years you two had been together, but they were rare and were usually resolved quickly.
But not this, no, this entire situation was different. You were in a never-ending loop of anger and resentment, and you couldn’t take it anymore.
•❅──────────────── ᗢ ‎‎────────────────❅•
Wanda pulled out her keys and unlocked the door to the condo. She had just gotten back from an emergency meeting with the team. The Sokovian stopped in her tracks as soon as she opened the door.
There you were, sat at the kitchen table. You were leaning back, your arm resting on the table as your hand enclosed around a glass of whiskey. Your bloodshot, red eyes, and the dried streaks of tears that adorned your cheeks were evidence of your crying. Wanda had never seen you so down.
The brunette slowly shut the door behind her, surprised when you spoke. She didn’t think you’d noticed her presence, your eyes trained on the glass in your hand. “We need to talk.”
Wanda nodded her head at your words and slowly approached the table. Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion when she saw a stack of papers on the table.
Wanda sat down across from you and finally, you looked at her. The Sokovian’s heart clenched as you stared at her emotionlessly. You downed the entire glass of alcohol, not even wincing at the burn, but welcoming it. You put the glass down and cleared your throat before speaking.
“Wanda, I love you so much, but we can’t keep living like this.” Your voice was hoarse, a result of your earlier crying and the beverage you had just ingested. Wanda stared at you in confusion.
“What are you talking about?” The Sokovian felt fear slowly creeping in. She didn’t have a good feeling about this.
“Oh, come on. You know what I’m talking about. We act like we don’t even know each other anymore. We aren’t even wives anymore, we’re just two people who live together.” You didn’t have the energy to yell anymore, your voice was soft and calm.
Wanda still didn’t understand the direction this conversation was going in. Nothing could’ve prepared her for your next words.
“I visited a lawyer and hired him. He was going to give you these, but I decided to do it myself.” You sat up and pushed the papers across the table. “I’m officially serving you with divorce papers.”
Wanda’s heart stopped as she comprehended your words. She couldn’t believe this was happening.
“Wha- what? A divorce? Please tell me you’re joking.” Wanda looked down at the papers and back up to you in utter disbelief.
“I wish I was joking, but I’m not. I want a divorce.” You were eerily calm, maintaining your composure while Wanda felt like she was going to crumble to pieces at any given moment.
“Is this about my missions? If it is, I’ll ask Steve to relax my workload. I’ll be around more often and I’ll stop being an asshole. Just, please don’t do this. I’ll make it right, I promise.” Wanda leaned forward and reached out for your hand pleadingly, but you didn’t let her.
You pulled your arm off of the table and shook your head. “Wanda, you shouldn’t have to make it up to me in the first place. It shouldn’t take a divorce for you to finally act like a proper wife. I’m not changing my mind.” You spoke firmly, but Wanda refused to accept your words.
The Sokovian abruptly stood up, the loud sound of her chair scraping against the floor filled the room.
“So, that’s it? You’re just gonna give up on everything we have? You’re gonna throw in the towel because things are a little rough right now? You’re a fucking coward, Y/N!”
Wanda was enraged as you stared at her unimpressed. Her chest was heaving as she glared at you. “This is exactly why this needs to happen. We can’t have one conversation without someone yelling.” You stood up slowly, rounding the table and making your way to the front door.
Wanda watched your every move like a hawk. You reached for your purse that hung beside the door and flung it over your shoulder before turning around to face the Sokovian. “I suggest you get a lawyer as well.” You spoke simply and turned back around, your hand on the doorknob.
Something in Wanda went off, seeing you about to walk out had raised alarms in her mind. You were really leaving her. The brunette moved without a single thought, rushing over to you as you pulled the door open. She gripped your wrist tightly, causing your head to turn back to her, a sad expression on your face.
“Please don’t leave me. I love you and you love me. Does that not mean anything to you anymore?” Wanda’s anger dissipated to desperation. She stared at you right in the eyes, begging you to stay. Pleading you not to put an end to your marriage.
“Our love means the absolute world to me, Wanda. But sometimes… love just isn’t enough.”
You smiled sadly at the Sokovian before gently pulling her hand off of your wrist. It was kinda difficult considering how firm her grip had been, but you managed.
You walked out and all Wanda could do was sit there and watch as you walked down the hall and away from all of the memories you had made together. You never thought that your marriage with the brunette would come to an end, let alone an ugly one.
But your marriage had become toxic, slowly feeding away at any sort of happiness you had left. It was a painful decision to come to; a divorce, but it felt like the right one. The Sokovian was right, you did love her; which is why you needed to put an end to the torture.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
ㅤㅤ Wanda Maximoff is the love of your life; ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ ㅤㅤ but you had to let her go.

Part 8 of the wonderful! Au: the boys answer some questions! Up to you to decide if they actually clarify anything!
(also on AO3)
~*~
Martin: Hey everyone! I know what some of you are thinking right now: it's not Tuesday, why is this episode in my feed? I know significantly more of you are thinking: I don't consistently keep up with podcast releases, how much free time do you think I have, buddy? To answer your queries: this is a bonus episode! We're answering listener questions to clear the air and/or have fun. Also, I don't know, around 20 to 40 minutes a week, as that is the average amount of time per episode? Maybe during your commute? My husband's omnipotence has been gone for five years, we just have to guess at that sort of thing now.
Jon: For legal reasons, that last statement was a joke. In fact, to cover all of our bases, we do not guarantee that any of our responses are genuine.
Martin: Just because we say we'll answer things doesn't mean we'll answer truthfully. Though, honestly, I think we might make it more enjoyable if we do tell the truth. Like, I don't necessarily have a fun lie prepared for our first question from konspiracyking97: "What's their fuckin deal anyway?"
Jon: Is this referring to the oblique references  we've made about being from a parallel reality and only ending up here as a consequence of ending one apocalypse and potentially starting another or the general premise of the show?
Martin: Oh, it's gotta be general premise, yeah?
Jon: In that case, I'm Jon, the other voice you're hearing is Martin, we're married, and we talk about things that are..nice? Good? Usually generally but occasionally rather specifically pleasant.
Martin: That pretty much covers it. It's not a complicated show. Uhh, next question comes from Shane: are either or both of you aliens? Nope!
Jon: Well..
Martin: No. We are 100% human people from Earth, we are under no definition extraterrestrial.
Jon: Eh..
Martin: Okay, first off, I know the tone of that 'eh' and "not fully human" is not synonymous with alien, so even if 100% is being a bit generous, we're still from the same planet as our listeners.
Jon:..
Jon: But. We sort of aren't though. Technically speaking.
Martin: No no no no no. I don't care if it's parallel, Earth is Earth is Earth, regardless of whatever nonsense metaphysics might be occurring.
Jon: So what you're saying is that if you got sucked through a portal and landed on an Earth where dinosaurs were still the predominant species, you wouldn't consider yourself to be an alien?
Martin: Nope!
Jon: I'm certain that they would consider you an alien. All of their mammals are probably shrew sized.
Martin: Sounds like a them problem.
Jon: Sounds like a-?! You know what, no, this will be an off the record debate, for now, I suppose I concede that the two Earths and our physiologies are similar enough that we might, maybe, not count as aliens.
Martin: Thank you. Anyway, our next question is from anonymous, and asks, "Is all of this an ARG?"
Jon: A whomst?
Martin: Alternate reality game. It's a method of storytelling that's interactive with audience, and usually has, I dunno, a certain suspension of disbelief to it where it pretends to be something actually happening in the real world until a dramatic reveal. A lot times it was used as a marketing gimmick, but others have done it just for fun. I can show you some examples after the show?
Jon: So it's in essence a more involved creepypasta?
Martin, delighted: Aw, babe, I'm never going to have a handle on what pop culture you are and aren't aware of, huh?
Jon: We were born within a year of each other, and I've told you that I was a deeply morbid teenager, you should probably be able to intuit some of things, love.
Martin: This coming from a man who has yet to see "It's a Wonderful Life", but has seen every film in the "Banjo Cannibals" franchise, including the Easter special. Jesus doesn't exist in the Banjo Cannibals universe, why does it have an Easter special?
Jon: The movies are rather shoddily translated from Russian, so I'm fairly certain the Easter component of that special was invented wholesale in the English version.
Martin: You say that like it answers more questions than it raises.
Jon: Yes, because it does. Oh, and to answer anonymous's question, no, this isn't an ARG. From my understanding of it, if it were, it'd be a poorly constructed one, as there's no real game element to any of this.
Martin: Hmm. Well, sometimes the game component is just trying to figure out what's going on with the story, or if there's any deeper content, and people are definitely doing that with this show.
Jon: That's not by design though. It's more a side effect of us having poor brain to mouth filters, I'd say.
Martin: Harsh, but fair. Oh, this next one is from Zac, no K, who asks, "Are you two actually even married?"
Jon, flat: We are, but it's under false names because this whole thing is an elaborate insurance scam.
Jon, incredulous: Yes, obviously, we're married. What did you hear in this podcast that would make you wonder otherwise, and how do we rectify it?
Martin: Clearly we need to up our quota for how "disgustingly in love" and "horrifically sappy" we are per episode. Which segues nicely into the next question from Gwen, "What's your favourite wonderful thing you've brought so far?" My answer: my husband. He's kind of my favourite in most things, you know?
Jon: Boooooo
Martin: Why, what's your favourite thing?
[Jon reluctantly sighs]
Jon, indulgent: being married.
Martin: A: serves you right for trying to pretend you're the less horrifically sappy and romantic one even though earlier today someone put a love note in the lunch they packed for me-
Jon:- Lies and slander! I have never, in my life, done that, even once.
Martin: Oh, sure, not even once. And you definitely don't reserve the lilac sticky notes specifically for my lunches because you know I like the colour.
Jon: I..I don't.. you're rather ruining my image here.
[Martin snorts]
Martin: Can't have the audience think that you are, on occasion, an incredibly doting husband-
Jon: -A title I would argue we both share-
Martin: - which is obviously why, even with it being your favourite thing you've brought, being married to me is just a small wonder-
Jon, audibly rolling his eyes: As I already explained-
[A Pause}
Jon: Actually, you're right-
Martin: Wait-
Jon:- I really should have brought it as a larger wonder-
Martin: Wait-
Jon: though I should warn you, I think I'd have far too much material for just one little segment-
Martin: No no no no no-
Jon:- In fact, I think I might have too much material for just one little episode-
Martin: Joo-oon-
Jon: I might have to do a whole series! Where would I even start? I mean I could talk about how every day I get to watch the early morning sun highlight your curls when I get up first, or hear you quietly humming and shuffling around the kitchen when you do, or I could talk about how the lunch notes only started in the first place as retaliation to the notes you would leave on the mirror for me to find, or how every time I get to see you at ease in a way that you aren't with anyone else, it takes my breath away, or I could talk about how cute I find the lines between your eyebrows that you only get when you're thinking something petty, but you know it's petty so you don't want to say anything-
Martin: Okay, okay, Christ, I give !up I surrender, and will cease my teasing on this particular topic.
Jon, probably making the :3 face: You don't have to stop. I mean, I could also discuss how very, very attractive I find your voice when it takes on a teasi-mmph!
[There's a pleased hum, then a pause.]
[The audio quality is slightly changed, as if the recording has been stopped and then started later]
Martin, giddy: Uh, heh, anyway, Eric asked what the least favourite thing we've brought was, and because of Jon's attempt to embarrass me live-
Jon, overlapping: It's definitely not live-
Martin:- on air, I'm gonna say it's my husband.
[Jon scoffs]
Jon : If the past few minutes are any sort of indication, I'm going to go ahead and saying that you are lying.
Martin, sighing contentedly: Maybe a bit, but how was I supposed to resist when your indigance gives you that adorable little nose scrunch? In reality, my least favourite thing was probably, um, mini golf? Which, I still don't think is inherently bad, definitely superior to regular golf, but when it's the only thing a next door two year old wants to do with you, the charm begins to wear off a bit.
Jon: Wow. A rather scathing review of a toddler.
Martin: Not so much a scathing review of a toddler as it's a scathing review of minigolf's inability to keep its appeal after the third time in the same week.
Jon: Mmm, the sound effects rather quickly go from part of the atmosphere to part of the irritation, don't they?
Martin: So what's your least favorite thing we've covered here?
Jon: Oh, love, I'm not going to pretend to have nearly enough memory of what we've covered so far to have a least favorite.
Martin: Really? Nothing that you regret or rescind?
Jon: Well, regret, certainly. It was one of the weeks where you went first, and your second item was mutual aid funds, and what they can do for marginalized communities, and I had to follow it with fucking Slapchop.
Martin, poorly suppressing laughter: In your defence, Slapchop, or whatever offbrand we have, is pretty useful, especially when either your scar or my arthritis is acting up.
Jon: I'm still not convinced you didn't somehow see my notes for the recording and decided you get revenge for the first year that we knew each other.
Martin, no longer suppressing his laughter: Yep, you got me! This marriage wasn't an act of insurance fraud, but it was a near decade long con to humiliate you on a podcast that about twenty people listen to. I'll draft up the divorce papers immediately, and then we can finally go our separate ways.
Jon: I'm glad you've at last admitted it. Such a weight off of my shoulders. Goodbye forever then.
Martin: Right.
Jon: Right.
[A beat.]
[There's a pfft from one of them, before both dissolve into giggles that lasts a good 30 seconds.]
Martin, slightly out of breath: I can't believe we're the kind of people that talk this much about speciality kitchen gadgets.
Jon: Sorry about that.
Martin: God, don't apologize. I'm, like, deliriously happy with our varying degrees of useful cooking ware filled life. If you had told 25 year old me that one day he'd be debating the merits of getting a tortilla press with his husband, he'd have wept, I tell you.
Jon: Funny, if you told 25 year old me the same thing, he would've said "You don't know the future, piss off" and then quietly have a bit of a panic at 3 am that night.
Martin: I bet you were insufferable in your mid-twenties.
Jon: First of all, who isn't, secondly, I was fresh out of Oxford, and third, I was insufferable in my late twenties, as you can attest to, and I'm insufferable now, as you can further attest to, so extrapolation would indicate that, yes, I was insufferable back then.
Martin: Probably a different kind of insufferable, though.
Jon: There are different kinds?
Martin: Of course! You used to be "prick boss" insufferable and now you're "smug in a way that I can't admit I find hot or it will go straight to your head" insufferable.
Jon, in the aforementioned smug tone: Oh, really?
Martin: See, see! Straight to your head.
Jon: Well straight is probably the wrong descriptor-
Martin: Oof, 4 out of 10 joke, babe.
Jon: That would be a far more convincing rating if you weren't grinning right now.
Martin: It's a genuine review, I'm just well known to be a sucker.
Jon: You and me both, darling.
Martin: Okay, if you're pulling out darling, you're clearly in too giddy of a mood to be focused on recording. Last question, from Jess, "You two mentioned meeting at work, but how did you actually end up together?" That's easy, Jon pulled me out of a hell dimension and then we went on the lam together to Scotland.
Jon: If that's not the way to tell a cute boy you like him, I don't know what is.
Martin: All right, that wraps up this bonus episode, and as the old saying goes, hiding from murderers in a cottage is more conducive to romance than suggesting you gouge out your eyes together.
Jon, cut off: Hey-!

member: sunwoo genre: fluff word count: 1,903 synopsis: sunwoo thinks you’re a flirty drunk but doesn’t notice you only flirt with him.
a/n: oc’s facial flush after drinking alcohol is mentioned once in the fic
Tumblr media
Eric: giant sleepover at hyunjae’s tonight
Hyunjae: this is news to me ??
Eric: be prepared to pull an all-nighter because we are doing everything from watching movies to playing games to ✨drinking✨
Sangyeon: his house is also my house ???
Eric: y/n, can you pick up some snacks and drinks with sunwoo?
You: sure
Sunwoo: this is news to me as well ?
Eric: see you all at 6! i know no one has classes today and tomorrow’s saturday so i expect full attendance :)
Juyeon: again, our house is not just solely hyunjae’s ???? younghoon and i live here as well ;-;
Eric’s impromptu gathering was in no way organized but he knew everyone would go along with it. Your group of friends consisted of the most spontaneous people you’ve ever met. They were always down for anything, anytime.
That was how you ended up going grocery shopping with Sunwoo and Haknyeon after you stopped by campus for your professor’s office hours. You ran into Haknyeon there who wanted to tag along to make sure you bought his favorite snacks.
“Any requests for chasers?” you called out to the boys who were an aisle away. You scanned the shelves of sodas in front of you, trying to recall who liked what drinks.
“Chasers are for babies,” Haknyeon scoffed as he made his way over to you.
“I’m baby,” you proudly pointed at yourself.
“Are you referring to the Kirby meme right now?” he blinked. When you nodded, he pretended to gag, making you slap his back.
“Do you guys think this is enough alcohol?” Sunwoo arrived with a cart full of bottles. You almost laughed at the amount of cases. Anyone passing by would think you were shopping wholesale. Which honestly didn’t sound like a bad idea for a group of 12.
“Should be,” Haknyeon shrugged, taking over the cart. “Now time for the good stuff!”
You and Sunwoo watched as he threw in bags of chips and jelly into the cart. You only picked out one or two for yourself since Haknyeon was essentially just getting everything. There was a wide variety for you to choose from anyway. Sunwoo had to physically stop him from adding more stuff, insisting that there’d be dinner as well.
With Hyunjae in charge of ordering food, it was no surprise that you walked into his house smelling like chicken. Eric greeted you from the kitchen and you hollered out a “hey” before joining Changmin and Chanhee in the living room. They were in the middle of an intense round of Super Smash Bros and by the looks of it, Changmin was winning. When the game finally ended, Changmin shrieked with laughter while Chanhee dejectedly collapsed onto the sofa.
Jacob and Kevin walked in not long after, exchanging greetings with everyone else. Sangyeon, Juyeon, and Younghoon emerged from the staircase after finishing their assignments upstairs in their own respective rooms. With the whole group together, Eric gathered you all in front of the TV to have a Super Smash Bros tournament.
“Only people who suck at playing games pick Kirby,” he yelled as you picked up a controller.
“I do admit I suck at games and love Kirby,” you stuck your tongue out as you chose your character, making Chanhee groan.
“All you do is spam down b!” Kevin whined.
“Well no one wants to teach me other moves or how to play other characters,” you shrugged.
“I tried,” Hyunjae sighed. “You’re an impossible student.”
“That’s because everyone kills me off while I try to learn!” you huffed.
To your amusement, you won the game by avoiding everyone in the air while they battled amongst themselves. Then you constantly attacked Younghoon with the same move until he eventually died. He screamed in frustration when your victory flashed across the screen.
Unfortunately for you, everyone decided to target you in the beginning for the next round. After easily finishing you off, they enjoyed what they called a “true fight” that Eric ultimately won.
The long night officially began with the mountain of boxes of chicken in the kitchen. It was easily demolished before Changmin won rock, paper, scissors to put a horror movie on. Before the film was even chosen, Sunwoo was complaining about how he hated jump scares.
“Bro just say you’re afraid and move on,” Eric snickered.
“I’m not scared! I just don’t like being surprised,” Sunwoo insisted.
“Pft, if you’re a true man you can watch it,” Chanhee teased, unaware of his embarrassment to come.
The next couple of hours was chaotic. Chanhee screamed at every noise, making everyone else scream as well. Haknyeon and Sunwoo ended up watching the movie with their ears closed and Jacob gave up entirely by trying to nap instead. You had the unfortunate seat next to Younghoon and became his ragdoll that he clung onto and shook every time he got frightened. You didn’t even get to react to the movie because he kept screaming and grabbing onto you.
Eric and his mischievous instincts spent the whole time trying to startle Juyeon who ended up chasing him around until he promised to stop. Changmin, Sangyeon, Hyunjae, and Kevin were the only ones who truly enjoyed the movie.
When the lights came back on, Chanhee and Sunwoo pretended that it wasn’t scary at all. Hyunjae laughed, reminding them of their reactions to which they feigned oblivion to.
“I need a drink,” you groaned. “Younghoon stressed me out more than the ghost did.”
“Everyone go slow and steady,” Eric warned. “I want to be playing until the sun comes up.”
“My body is too old for this,” Sangyeon mumbled as he began taking the alcohol out of the fridge.
“Hey, Y/n, can you pass me a bottle?” Sunwoo asked. You felt your heart skip a beat when his fingers brushed past yours to take the drink from your hands. The exchange made you blush and you quickly took a shot to mask your tinted cheeks with the flush of the liquor.
Spending the night with your friends meant that you would be spending it trying hard to not fall in love with your budding crush. You tried your best to keep a safe distance from him, relying on Chanhee to be your trusty barrier.
After a series of drinking games (that mostly resulted in your loss), you were beginning to feel the effects. With Chanhee and Haknyeon by your side, you were slightly swinging in your seat. You were all sitting on the floor in the spacious living room to start whatever game Hyunjae had suggested. His words had gone in and out of your ears while you were finishing your last punishment drink.
“So basically one person will ask another person a question and that person will say their answer out loud. The answer has to be the name of someone in this room. Those who are curious about the question will drink to hear it,” Hyunjae explained.
“Can I go first?” Kevin excitedly asked. With the majority agreeing, he happily went up to Jacob to whisper in his ear.
After hearing his question, Jacob thought for a second before saying your name. The boys teasingly “ooh”ed, making you roll your eyes. Sunwoo, Eric, and Changmin were the only ones curious enough to drink for the answer.
“Aw, Y/n, you don’t wanna know why he picked you?” Kevin pouted.
“By the look on your face, I think I get the gist,” you chuckled. “Any questions involving girls only leaves me as an option. And to be brutally honest, I don’t really care what he thinks of me.”
Jacob, faking pain, clutched his heart.
“Ouch,” he joked.
Jacob asked his question to Younghoon, who answered with your name again. This time, you were slightly intrigued.
“Me again for the second time in a row? Now I’m kinda curious,” you pretended to think hard.
Eric drank again and eagerly asked for Jacob’s question. Trying to elicit a response from you, he acted shocked and grabbed Younghoon by the collar. Laughing, you gave in and drank to hear the question.
“He thinks you’re gonna be the first to get cuffed,” Jacob whispered to you.
“Ah, unfortunately no,” you shook your head at Younghoon, sitting back down.
This time, Younghoon asked you a question. He asked who you would date if you had to choose from the friend group.
“Sunwoo,” you said almost immediately. His jaw dropped at how fast you made your decision and he gave you a smug look.
Again, Eric couldn’t hide his curiosity. His reaction made the rest of them interested and everyone ended up drinking to find out what Younghoon had asked you. Hyunjae hooted but the alcohol in your system left you unphased by all their teasing.
After their excitement died down, the game continued until each person had a turn. It ended with Eric drunk crying thanks to Juyeon picking him as his most cherished friend. Seeing him cry made Sunwoo cry as well and Changmin was having a blast laughing at them both.
Not wanting Sunwoo to also turn into a crying drunk, Sangyeon took his cup away from him. He reminded him to keep his pace, prompting him to sulk. As soon as Sangyeon looked away, however, Sunwoo stole it back and downed the rest of his drink.
“Sunwoo, no,” Sangyeon groaned.
“Sunwoo yes!” Sunwoo exclaimed with glee.
The group then split off into subgroups to take a break from drinking. You, Younghoon, Juyeon, Changmin, Sunwoo, and Eric propped a phone up to make TikToks together. Meanwhile, the rest of the boys were just chilling on the couch, laughing as they watched you embarrass yourselves.
Subconsciously, you ended up with your arm wrapped around Sunwoo’s neck for most of the stupid 15 second video. You honestly weren’t sure what you were filming or why you were so close to your crush but you were having too much fun to care.
Chanhee, on the other hand, definitely noticed. He smirked as you rested your head on Sunwoo’s lap and Sunwoo’s face reddened. He nudged Jacob to point it out and made fun of how oblivious you two were.
Before reconvening, you stepped outside to get some fresh air. When you didn’t return after 10 minutes, Sunwoo was sent to retrieve you. You lit up seeing him join you on the veranda and beckoned for him to sit down next to you.
“It’s cold out here,” he said. “Let’s go back in.”
“So then you should hold my hand to keep me warm,” you giggled, holding out your hand.
“You’re drunk,” he commented as he raised an eyebrow.
“Drunk on you,” you winked, making him shyly look away. He cleared his throat to rid himself of the awkward tension between you.
“You know, you’re a flirty drunk,” he mused.
“Only to you,” you shrugged. “Haven’t you ever heard of drunk actions reflecting sober thoughts?”
Taken aback, he stared at you in silence. You pouted at his lack of response and got up to go back inside. Before you could open the door, he finally spoke up.
“I’ll think about it if your sober actions reflect your drunk thoughts,” he said.
“Really?” you beamed.
“As long as your drunk self is only flirty with me,” he teased.
“Oh please, have you ever seen me like this with the other guys?” you laughed. “I only like you. Just you.”

I'm on my bullshit again. No lemons. Just Shinigami goodness. Wrote this to In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3 by Coheed and Cambria.
Ryuk has been around for such a long time. Ever since she had found that notebook sitting on that tree stump years ago. Cover soft looking and beaded with dew. It had looked as if it had been there some time. And, although the pages looked weathered and yellow, there was no mold or outward damage.
Surprising given its location in the middle of the woods. She’d only even seen it because she’d stopped and knelt to retie her shoe. Just an alien black square looking sharp and unreal sitting on that stump just off the jogging trail.
She can remember how the thing had felt when she’d picked it up. Soft in texture. Like careworn leather.
The words “Death Note" emblazoned on the cover had made her feel a little unsettled. Eerie out here in the predawn misty quiet.
A silent voice inside her mind had whispered that maybe she should put it right back down on that stump and keep running. As far and as fast as she could.
Another voice, vapid and cunning, had laughed at the absurdity of such a book, with such a title, being left out here in the middle of nowhere.
She hadn’t left it there. Without opening it, she’d tucked it under her arm and continued on her morning run.
She performed all the menial tasks of her daily life, forgetting all about that Death Note leaving dew marks on her dining room table.
Breakfast was bland. Work was tedious. No different than any other day. Even when she’d reentered her home and plopped her work bag next to the thing, her eyes really didn’t focus on it.
It was the tall bony Shinigami standing in her kitchen that finally arrested her fuzzy mind from the blandness of living.
He hadn’t even been looking at her. Instead, the spinous processes of his vertebrae pressed onto the dark material upon his long back as he leaned over her counter. Observing a bowl of fruit as if it were a still life masterpiece.
She hadn’t moved. Was utterly frozen. Just watching this creature as it looked at her food.
“What’s all this junk? Taking up room that could be used for perfectly good apples.” It’s voice, low and yet raspy, grated on her eardrums as it lifted a hand and poked a claw into the ripe flesh of an orange. The movement causing several pieces of fruit to fall out of the over filled bowl entirely.
With a deft movement, the creature caught the only apple which had exited the bowl. Rubbed it with the pad of it’s thumb as it finally lifted it’s face to look at her.
It’s face………
Cadaverous. Eyes beady and large and yellow. Nose squashed. Like a mummy who’d decided to affix it’s hair for a punk rock concert. It was even sporting a dangling silver earring on one of it’s little ears.
At her gawping expression, it had smiled. Wide thin dark mouth sporting a row of razor teeth appearing aged and yellow.
“No screaming, eh? Hiya, Y/N.”
She hadn’t bothered to question how this thing knew her name.
“Um…….. hi?” Her own voice sounded dry and distant in her ears. “And you are?”
It bit into that apple, it’s eyes closing. As if savoring the fruit. A stray drop of the juice dribbled down onto it’s chin.
It said a word. But muffled thru a mouthful of apple, it nearly sounded like a retch.
“Ex….Excuse me? I didn’t…… I didn’t quite understand that.”
“Not a good listener tho. Ah well. Nobody is perfect.” It’s long tongue snaked out to swipe at that bead of juice as the creature had studied her.
Raising it’s free hand, it extended a long bony finger. She noticed now the rings glinting on his hands.
“I. Am. Ryuk.” He said it very slowly. As if she might have been a child who might not understand. But there wasn’t a trace of sarcasm or ill temper in it’s behavior.
“So….. Ryuk…… why…… um…. What……. What do you want?”
At this, it’s smile had widened.
“I’m just here Y/N. YOU are the one that picked up the Death Note.”
Imagery of that notebook popped up in her head.
“I….. I did……”
“Yes. You did. And I’ll be with you until you die now. Or I do.” It was leering now. “Whichever comes first.”
“I see….” She didn’t really see. Turned from him and went into the dining room to pick up that notebook. Opening it. Reading the first thing written on the inside of the cover out loud.
“The human whose name is written in this note shall die.”
It had been frightening in retrospect. Not those words. Not that Death Note. Not even the monster standing in the doorway happily crunching it’s way thru a second apple and watching her.
What had been utterly terrifying was that she had not blanched. Had not set this note down and backed away. Had not told that creature to take it and go.
Instead, she’d stood there. Continuing to read. A name and face already coming to mind.
A face belonging to a monster who’d put that apple eating shark mouthed monster to utter shame. The man who’d killed someone she had loved.
Without looking away from the Death Note, she’d reached over and started rummaging thru her work bag. Fingers shaking and fumbling at keys and change.
“Never can find what you’re looking for if your bag is too full, Y/N.” Ryuk looked vastly amused. “You’re not even going to question the validity of the Note? That’s what you humans usually do.”
She hadn’t answered. Simply gasped as her fingers had clutched onto a great fistful of bullshit in her bag. Lifting the whole mess out to drop carelessly on the table. Chapstick and a tampon scattering across the surface.
And there, rolling and coming to rest against an old broken key chain, had been a blue ink pen.
She’d looked up at Ryuk. Eyes wide, almost manic.
“Any person?”
He smiled again. Repeated her words.
“Any living person.”
There had been no eloquence. No artfulness nor ritualistic care taken in that first death. She had scratched the name onto the paper. And a way to die. Almost stabbing it in. Breathing coming out in ragged desperate gasping.
After the deed had been done, the pen clattered to the floor as she’d wept. Fingers numb.
It hadn’t occurred to her that there would be no way to instantly verify this death. Not until that moment. And so, with a frustrated cry, she’d slapped the Death Note onto the table and fled into her bedroom. Right over to the dark corner to collapse, wrap her arms around her knees, stuff her face into her knees, and cry as a child. Ryuk following her, tilting his head quizzically at this suffering.
“Why are you crying? You couldn’t have liked that human if you wanted them to die.”
“Please…… please go.”
But he didn’t. Simply had sank down. Knobby knees on either side of his ghastly face as he sat across from her.
“I told you. I’m here till you die, Y/N.” There was no camaraderie or sympathy in his voice. It had been matter of fact. “But this surely will get boring very soon, won’t it?”
“When will I know if he died?”
Ryuk smiled again. Leering.
“My my. Impatient aren’t you. Actually that’s a quality I like about you humans. As for your question, I guess you’ll just have to find out for yourself.” His eyes glint as his smile turns wicked. “You could always write a name belonging to someone closer. If you’re seeking validation, of course.”
“There isn’t anyone else I wanna kill.”
“Then this is going to get very boring very quickly, Y/N.”
She hadn’t had to wait long. Two days later, she’d received correspondence that her presence would no longer be required at a hearing. The defendant was dead.
A quick Google search verified that the person had died just as she’d written.
Setting the phone down, fingers numb, she'd simply looked up at her Shinigami.
She knew that’s what he was now. She’d been peppering him with questions about himself and his kind. And about the Death Note. He hadn’t answered many of them. At least, not until she’d given him an angelic grin and revealed a bag of bright green apples.
“Your apples can be green???” He'd looked absolutely delighted. And had been far more forthcoming.
“He’s dead. He’s really……. Gone…….”
Ryuk merely grunted in visceral enjoyment as he popped the core of that Granny Smith into his maw.
Without warning, she’d reached forward, patting at another errant drop of juice on his chin with a Kleenex she’d just snatched from the box. The action was mainly impulsive. And she’d laughed.
“You’re so messy.”
The Shinigami had frozen. Utterly motionless. He didn’t breathe himself. Statue still. Simply looking at her.
The years passed by like this. The shock and relief provided by this first killing soon giving way to an almost comfortable routine. She didn’t go on a wholesale slaughter. And often targeted those who hurt children. The pain of such cases resonating with the events of her own life.
And there were so. Many. Apples. Loads of them. Ryuk loved all kinds. Although he did seem preferential to Honey Crisp. She never once could get him to try another fruit. And she DID try. Not even a damn orange.
“It’s yummy. Ya know, for somebody that says he gets bored easily, you sure are picky.” She waggled the bright fruit.
“I’ve watched you peel one of those things. What sort of food makes you work so hard? Now THIS……” He'd held up his half eaten apple. “THIS is the pinnacle of crisp and juicy. Now leave that orange wherever you found it, if you please.”
Time was littered with conversations as simple as these, intermingled with serious discussions in which he was as non informative as ever.
It was one of these more serious conversations which followed an observation on her part.
She’d noticed changes in him. Very slight. But she was simply around him so much that she could see them. His movements had become slower. More careful. His speech slowed as well. As if he might be thinking more carefully. Or even forgetting things. She never once pointed this out.
Not until, one day, after clearing 6 entire apples, he’d actually groaned as he’d flopped upon her couch. Long booted feet hanging over one of the arms.
She plops next to him. Poking at one of the skulls on his belt. He’d long since stopped being surprised by her impulsive touches and nearness. Her humanness. Simply tolerating it.
“Are you hurting, Ryuk?”
“Why are you asking?”
“Oh. No reason.”
“I’m dying, Y/N.”
For once, it is she who freezes.
“I thought Shinigami lived a long time.”
“We do. My time is simply running out.” He’s just watching her.
“You’d said….. you’d said that you guys get more years by taking ours.”
“We do.”
She stops toying with that skull entirely. Turns her body so that she’s facing him directly.
“Is it time, then?” She’s oddly unafraid.
“Time for what?”
“For you to….. ya know…… write my name in YOUR Death Note?”
At this, he chuckles.
“I’m not going to write your name.”
She looks confused.
“But….. why not?”
Now he’s actually laughing.
“Do you WANT me to write your name in my Death Note?”
She chews on her bottom lip. Reaching out to pat his chest. Once again, he doesn’t react.
“I don’t want you to die.”
He laughs again. But there is no more true mirth in the sound.
“Why?”
She counters.
“Why won’t you write my name?”
“I am not entirely sure, Y/N.” The slight confusion in his voice gives credence to this answer.
“Well. I am sure.” She’s staring intently at him. “Everything ends, Ryuk. Nobody ever stays. Nothing is constant. I’ve never had a single person ever remain in my life. Except….. except you.”
He sighs. Patiently repeating himself.
“I will be with you until you die.”
“I don’t care if it’s because you have to be here. You’re still HERE……. Will it be soon?”
That same, toothy leer.
“You know I won’t tell you your lifespan, Y/N.”
“I don’t mean me.”
He just looks at her. She’s never seen his face so expressionless. Then repeats yet again.
“I will be with you until you die. Or until I do.”
“I will write my own name then. Will that do it?”
“Stop being foolish. Be a dear and get me another apple won’t you?”
“Yeah….. I will. But I’m not done.”
“I’m sure you’re not.” He chuckles.
It is as if this conversation opens a chasm in this inevitable process. Everything about Ryuk is changing. And so quickly.
Already emaciated and pale, even his dark lips turn papery and light grey. His hair grays too. Yellow eyes growing filmy where they had been so keen before. As if, when the aging process actually begins in a Shinigami, it is accelerated.
It is barely 2 weeks after this conversation that he gives a defeated grunt, sprawled on her bed as she’s on her laptop.
“I can’t get up.” He barks out a laugh. As if this is genuinely funny to him.
She closes her laptop and rises from her chair. Turning and walking over to the bed to flop next to him. Staring at the ceiling just as he is.
“You want another apple?”
“Thank you, Y/N. But I do not.”
“That close, huh.”
“I believe so, yes.”
“Will the Death Note still work? When you’re gone I mean.”
“Yes.”
Her voice is oddly cold.
“Do death gods go to hell? I cant go to heaven or hell. What about you?”
He doesn’t answer for several minutes. She doesn’t speak either. Finally…
“I suppose we will end up in the same place, Y/N.”
“I'm glad.” She turns her face to look at him. “I’ll need something before you go.”
“Oh? And what is that?”
“The Shinigami eyes.”
At this, Ryuk turns his face as well. And they just stare at each other.
“Clever greedy impatient girl.” The insult is almost affectionate. “Are you truly that afraid to die alone?”
“Nobody should die alone. And this way, neither of us will half to. Half my lifespan for the Shinigami eyes. We’ll die at the same time.” She looks back up at the ceiling. He does too.
When he feels her fingers intertwining with his, as always, he doesn’t react.
“I never actually made that offer to you. Merely spoke of it.”
“I don’t care. I want the Shinigami eyes.”
He turns his face to her.
“Who am I to turn down such a lucrative deal?”
She sees his hand coming towards her face. Closes her eyes.
When she opens them again, the picture of her and some old friends on the wall is noticeably different. One face, the face of the friend who’d committed suicide years before, is clear and unblemished. The other faces each have a name and numbers above them.
And when she looks back at Ryuk, she sees that his hair is once again jet black. Eyes just as clear and sharp as she remembers. He leers at her. Squeezes her hand as she’s squeezing his.
“I’ll take that apple as well. If the offer is still there.”
She grins.
“You got a new lease on life and you STILL won’t try an orange?”
He scoffs.

Reusable Paper Towels: 5 best on Amazon
Julia
August 19, 2021 9 min read
Look around your kitchen and think about all the little spills and big messes that always happen in this room. Do you usually use paper towels to get rid of them? If the answer is yes, you might want to rethink your habits and consider switching to reusable paper towels instead! You’re probably wondering why. Come along, and we’ll explain it all to you!
Paper towels cause a lot of waste when used all the time. That’s because they are single-use, and you rarely use just one to clean up a mess around the kitchen or even the house. The Environmental Protection Agency asserts that paper and cardboard waste – which includes paper towels – make up the largest percentage of wasted material globally. Plus, we cut down 110.000.000 trees per year just for good that includes paper, toilet paper, and, you guessed it right, paper towels.
Being eco-conscious is more than just a way to think, it’s a way to act and live by. We are so used to things that have been in our everyday lives forever, like paper towels, that we don’t realize their negative impact on the environment. It has been proved that starting a more green way to live in the kitchen is the way to go since it’s easier to root sustainable habits when they’re close to food preparation.
So, filling up your towels stock with reusable paper towels is a great way to start. Since they’re reusable, you will get to save money in the long run since you won’t have to buy new ones all the time. It will also save you work since you won’t have to keep remembering to restock. And, of course, the best part: you will decrease your trash accumulation and help the planet by thwarting deforestation.
But what are they exactly? Let’s dive into that!
What are reusable paper towels?
Basically, they are just like paper towels but are made with paper substitutes, more sustainable materials. They can be made of bamboo, cotton, cellulose, or even wood pulp. And the best part is that the swap from regular paper towels to reusable ones is very easy and painless since they are so similar.
The difference stands in the fact that reusable paper towels are much more strong and resistant than conventional ones, plus most of them are compostable and biodegradable, which makes them even better for the environment.
You can use the reusable paper towels just like you would regular ones: to clean spills around the kitchen, messes around the house, large spills in the bathroom, a surprise your pet left you in the living room carpet, and so on. Plus, they can be used with all-purpose cleaners on glass, tabletops, countertops surfaces, and floors.
And, of course, they are reusable. You can use the reusable paper towels as many times as you want during the period designated by the brand, which can go from a week up to two years. Even the ones that only last up to a week will make you save dozens of regular paper towels. All you have to do is rinse them and hang them to dry in between uses. They are very quick to dry and way more absorbent than conventional paper towels.
The reusable paper towels usually come in packs and in different patterns and colors, which can help you be more organized. You can designate which design will have which purpose in the cleaning chores.
Different kinds of reusable paper towels
Bamboo: This material is sustainable and has been used to replace paper in many ways. The reusable paper towels using this material are made with strong bamboo fibers that are tree-free. They usually last up to a week.
Cotton: The reusable paper towels made with cotton are very similar to cotton kitchen towels, but they are made with recycled or scrap fabric. They are biodegradable, so even though they last longer than paper towels, if you use them just once and throw them out, they will still be less harmful to the environment.
Cellulose Dishcloths: These kinds of reusable paper towels can be made from straight-up cellulose or a cellulose-cotton mix. They are super absorbent, almost like a sponge, super-strong like cotton paper towels, plus they are biodegradable. It can be used on wash machines, dishwashers, and microwaves.
Microfiber towels: You can use these kinds of towels for months, maybe even years, just by rinsing and wringing them out with water, but they are not disposable. Check out an article we made about microfiber towels here.
How to use reusable paper towels?
Now we’ll walk you through how to use, clean, and store reusable paper towels.
First, you replace the regular paper towels in your kitchen with reusable ones. They can come in a roll, like conventional paper towels, or in singles in a pack. You can place them in a regular towel holder if they come in a roll, just like paper ones. If they come in singles, you can place them in an empty tissue box and use that as a holder.
Then, you can use them just like you would regular paper towels. Grab one square for light jobs and multiple squares for heavier duty cleaning chores. Make sure you understand the absorbancy of reusable paper towels to identify how many you’ll need for each chore.
After using it, you can either hand wash them or throw them in the washing machine. Again, check for the specific instruction on the reusable paper towel you got. Rinse them thoroughly, wring them out and hang them to dry. They dry quickly and are ready to be used again.
The durability also depends on the brand and material of the towel. As we said, they can last from a week up to 2 years. In any way, you can toss them as you would a regular paper towel, they will biodegrade or compost naturally.
You’re probably wondering if reusable paper towels are really worth it and not just annoying.
Aren’t reusable paper towels inconvenient?
We’re not going to lie to you, it can be hard to get used to reusable paper towels after using regular ones your whole life. It’s tempting to just run back to conventional paper towels because they are easier to use. But that doesn’t mean reusable paper towels are hard to use or completely inconvenient.
Since they come in packs, we advise you to try only using them for a whole week. Here are some tips on how to make the best out of it.
Have at least 3 towels on rotation in your kitchen at all times, so you’ll never be left hanging;
Quickly rinse them or wash them and hang them to dry right after you use them, so they are always ready to be used again, and you don’t have to leave the mess waiting while you wash the towel to use it;
You can put them in the microwave for a minute in between washes to further disinfect it;
They are more absorbent than regular paper towels, so you can usually use just one, even for large spills;
Try splashing some water on them before using, they tend to soak up more when a little damp.
By the end of the week, you will have an empty landfill and the feeling that you are helping Mother Nature. Plus, seven days is more than enough time for you to get the hang of it. Believe us, you will never go back to regular paper towels ever again.
What to look for in reusable paper towels?
Sustainability
Make sure the reusable paper towel you get is compostable, biodegradable, and non-toxic. Also, check for green product certification labels such as Green Scale, Rainforest Alliance Certified, and Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). All that will ensure you that you are indeed making a change that will have a positive impact on the environment.
Absorbency
The material which your reusable paper towel is made of will let you know how absorbent they are. Cotton usually soaks up better, and hemp usually retains more moisture than bamboo, for instance.
The 5 best reusable paper towels available on Amazon

Marley’s Monsters Rolled Reusable Paper Towels
The pricier set on our list, the Marley’s Monsters reusable paper towels, are $65 on Amazon. The higher price is explained by the quality of the product, though. This set comes with 24 towels, each with a 12 x10 inches dimension. They also come in different patterns, which makes it easier for you to designate which belongs where. Also, they are very aesthetically pleasing, making your kitchen even more beautiful and classy.
Marley’s Monsters is a brand certified as “true zero-waste,” which gives you the certainty that their products are eco-friendly and good for the environment. Plus, it even is committed to “commercial composting.”
They come with a roll, which makes them super easy to use and store. Besides that, the brand promises that the absorbency of the towels improves and increases after the first few washes.
Mioeco Reusable Paper Towels
Made with a blend of sustainable bamboo and organic cotton, the Mioeco reusable paper towels might be the most eco-friendly item on our list. This process causes a minimal environmental impact and is 100% GOTS verified.
It comes in a pack of 10 and is the size of a full conventional paper towel, having a 10 x12 inches dimension. That allows it not only to be used for the regular cleaning chores you would do with a paper towel but also for you to use it as a napkin during meals.
The brand promises that the absorbency of the towels improves as they are used and washed. Plus, it is very effective at removing tough stains and grease, a field regular paper towels aren’t so good in.
They have serged edges for durability and for preventing fraying. Besides that, the Mieco reusable paper towels are very easy to clean since they are machine washable and dry pretty quickly.
Lola Products Wowable Reusable Paper Towels
If you want longevity, this is the product for you. The Wowable, by Lola Products, comes in a set of 30 reusable paper towels, and the brand promises that each cloth can last up to 2 years. That way, the full pack can solve your kitchen’s and house’s problems for you for almost a lifetime.

The brand promises that the reusable paper towels are 350% more absorbent than the average and 450% stronger. They can be used everywhere you would use regular ones and more, such as kitchen, bathrooms, windows, garages, and floors.
