Listening to Kirsten Adamson covering Big Country songs made me think 'Damn, has she got the voice to be a country (or Americana) singer' and it turns out, LOL, yeah, that's what she's doing.

#it's kind of sad though because Stuart was so passionate about country music but he just...did not have the voice for it...#but Kirsten's got it down PAT. I think her voice is just naturally suited for it. and it's lovely! I love her guitar playing too.#oh my gosh I just realized that her voice reminds me of Kellie Pickler's voice!!! haha yeah that'd be why.#do y'all remember Kellie Pickler's song ''I Wonder''? mhm. similar voice and similar song themes too. damn.#not that I think Kirsten is at all an imitation of her! I mean I guess I can't say for sure yet about her solo work especially but #Kirsten's BC covers convince me that she's rather her own artist (ironically enough)
