happy @khoc-week!!! kicking it off with my khux oc Monty!!! they're in unicornis and originally from Twilight Town!
they're a laid back wielder who goes with the flow and can have trouble connecting with people due to not being very expressive but is always down for a good time :) their keyblade is called Red Chiv and is long and weighty, meant for physical attacks! It's heavy on both ends hence the big angled hand guard, my idea was that you could hold it from either end so spinning the keyblade would also be ideal for attacks. also the hand guard it backwards the angled end is supposed face inwards oops

Kingdom Hearts OC Week 2024
Day 1: Introduction
The week to start info-dumping about my keykid has come! Today I will go over general info about her so let's get to it!
This is Lux the Keykid, her name is ███ but Lux is a nickname she was called even before living in Daybreak Town. Recently she has just embraced it more even if makes things confusing, she thinks of it fondly.
She has been in Anguis for a while now, reasons she joined? She had a gut feeling and went with it but she does like her Foreteller's demeanor.
It's been 3 years since she awaken the power of the keyblade, it happen one day doing some odd jobs in Daybreak Town. Ever since then she just embraced the new path, she enjoy all the ups and downs of this new lifestyle most of the time.
Lately she has partly accepted she is one of those regulars that have to clear Agrabah so that desert is her zone for most of her task through her week. Has she requested variety more often? yes but it is still pending as not many seem to like taking those quest lately.
She has not been in a party for a while but still has some fond memories even if she can't recall some bits of the end. this is a reference yes, if you know you know :)
Her chirithy, Chiri as she call them, has put together a small sheet with some stuff, they have stuff to report or update the file for the archives of info. Lux help though sometimes it ends a bit overboard. They accept it not the less since it counts just fine as long as it is readable. This is their first draft but most likely the slightly cleaner version may be kind of similar ăƒŸ(≧▜≊*)o

KHOC Week Day 4 - Dream
Tumblr media
(Day 1 - Day 2 - Day 3 - Day 4 - Day 5 - Day 6 - Day 7) ( @khoc-week )
Lamia has nightmares nearly every night, brought on by the curse of darkness in his heart—but lately, he's been having other dreams as well.
He's in the plaza in Radiant Garden, and someone is standing in front of him, asking him something. It's a different person every time he has the dream—Aerith, Arno, his parents, later even Xigbar shows up—and a different question: What do you fight for? What are you most afraid of? What are you most scared to lose? Who do you need to forgive? Deep, philosophical questions that aim at the heart of who he is.
He never knows how to answer. Even when he thinks about it, tries to look inside himself, really consider what he's being asked...no answer comes.
When he tells Xigbar about these dreams, the old man instantly recognizes what they are. Somehow, slowly, Lamia's keyblade is waking up, and he's starting to experience the first halting steps of his Dive into the Heart.
But it's not supposed to be this jumbled or confused, it's not supposed to happen more than once, and it's only supposed to happen around the time a wielder first holds their keyblade. All that could be chalked up to the keyblade not being at full power yet—but also, Lamia's supposed to know the answer to the questions. Is he that disconnected from his own heart, his own sense of self?
One night, what seems like a Dive into the Heart dream turns out to be a particularly nasty nightmare that ends with him plummeting through the air towards a massive stained glass floor. The glass depicts Hollow Bastion under the reign of Maleficent, a ring of Heartless symbols, the curls of smoke that appear with his curse. Major parts of the image are missing, shattered out, including his own face.
And in the center, smiling back at him, is the face of his father.
(closeups below the cut!)

Day one: introduction
Finally did my Oc for @khoc-week !
Never got to colour it in but I'll try explaining!
Tumblr media
This is Ash!
Pronouns: they/them
Sexuality: gray-romantic, asexual
They're from daybreak town.
Union: anguis
Keyblade: sleeping lion
Their jacket is black, with a red crop top beneath it, their pants are green, and the boots are brown with a gold accent, and the headphones are black and red.
Friendships: they hang out with Brain at a cafe and talk about books and what's going on with daybreak town (pre war), chirithy, and has had a few conversations with master Invi.
They ran away from home at a young age, so they like calling chirithy their family!
Personality: inquisite but also laid back, loves drawing, reading, and listening to music
They also have excellent hearing, so they tend to eavesdrop, and noticed something was off pretty early.
Hopefully this isn't as bad as I think it is
Also they love croissants and sometimes steals brains when he's not looking lol

@khoc-week
Man, the final day already...
It's been so fun to poke around all those OCs, always a pleasure to experience and makes me excited for next year!!
I've been busy, so I may go back in to reread all the posts and appreciate them in full, but just know I absolutely adore everyone's OCs and thank y'all for being unashamed to post and talk about them!!! ♄ ♄
Genuinely, it's so enriching for me-
Without further ado, the final prompt!
Day 7 - Future
Considering that Myst gets trapped in the Realm of Darkness with Lugh before Aqua's sacrifice (I say as if I'm not the only one aware of this information, but the time frame is vague so far so who even knows when it happens-), you'd probably imagine that her future would end up lonely, especially if she and Lugh got separated for... mysterious reasons. ([cough cough] another old man bites the dust, my condolences to old men enjoyers.)
However, she finds herself running into Aqua at some point and the two traverse the realm together until they reach that fated shoreline, waiting for someone to come get them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The both of them do end up caving in to their individual darknesses, Myst having to face a sort of guilt for losing Lugh (situation pending, I'm leaning towards her striking him down herself in a fit of darkness induced hallucinating) and it corrupts her in a way that will definitely haunt her forever.
Oh, yeah babey we're making the decade in the dark truly mean something this round-
This makes them a girlboss anti duo of some sort at the end of it all, and this is where their story merges into the wider span of my extended sorta canon-compliant timeline! (which I still have yet to actually write, it just exists in my mind forever now-)
However, if we're talking the actual future beyond that, I anticipate she takes some time to heal and eventually finds an apprentice of her own!
I feel like she would take a page out of Lugh's book with her teaching style, but would make it fun and engaging yet respectful to the places she would travel to.
That aside, she'd probably hang around the Land of Departure from time to time and travel for more out of the box lessons, but most of it would be there to at least bring some use back to the place. She never had a more permanent training ground, so this is the closest she's got, even if it carries memories that haunt everybody.
She'd be a very interesting mentor, especially since a decade in the dark makes it so you miss a lot in terms of what's hip and what's old fashioned, but even with the healing time it's not quite clear whether or not she'll actually go anywhere to find out. That's what the new young people she'll meet are good for!
She'll be like a grandmother in a 30-something's body, more or less. Just depends on how she'll go about it and if she'll understand, it's all about breaking down those trauma walls.
I feel like she'd get a kick out of being the fun aunt to all these weird kids she gets to meet, maybe to a degree where it annoys Aqua juuust a lil bit.
Anyway, that concludes this year's KHOC Week!!! It's been a blast to participate again and I can't wait to hang out again next year!!
She deserves a bit of whimsy in her life-
Speaking of Aqua, I anticipate them getting happily married, and once they're mentally well enough for that, or temporarily retire, perhaps starting a family!
Even more whimsy!!! Which will benefit them in the long run most certainly!

KHOC Week Day 6 - Unique
What is special about them? That’s a touchy subject for Relai.
Tumblr media
Art commissioned from @naab_ascanio on Instagram
Word Count: 1572
Content Warnings: Canon-typical violence
Relai had been so preoccupied with the weirdo wielding the blue and orange chainsword that she hadn’t noticed the other figure in black until it was too late.
The split second whoosh of something flying toward her was all the warning Relai got before she felt the sharp blade slice through the left side of her face. With a howl of pain, she dropped to her knees in agony, instinctively clutching the wound that burned as if whatever struck her had been coated in acid.
The pain only seemed to get worse as Relai heard the sharp click of footsteps approaching her. Looking up, Relai saw her assailant: a woman wearing the same black coat as the chainsword-wielder but with the hood removed, revealing her face. Her cold grey eyes regarded Relai with frigid contempt as she readied the strange weapon in her hands—two small scythes attached together by a red chain—ready to deliver the killing blow

~ * ~ * ~
Mariss and Relai were identical twins, not that you’d know it now. Even before Mariss came out as nonbinary, they’d slowly been distancing themselves from Relai. The two of them barely even spoke to each other anymore when Uncle Mundi and Aunt Anima weren’t around.
Relai could recall their last real conversation, one sided as it was. Mariss had knocked on her open door one night as Relai was working on a poster design for 971zR’s next gig (as Joslyn was busy with college stuff). “Hey, Relai,” Mariss asked in a small voice, “do you think Mom and Dad would’ve been okay with me? You know, being non-binary?”
“Of course they would, don’t be stupid!” Relai snapped back, not even looking up from her desk. Mariss didn’t respond but eventually Relai heard the shuffle of their feet as they walked across the hallway to their own bedroom. She refused to feel bad about it; if Mariss didn’t try so hard to forget everything about Radiant Garden over the past four years, they’d already know what a dumb question that was.
If her twin was going to push her away out of embarrassment, then Relai was going to make sure she wasn’t like Mariss at all. They were smart, capable, and doing great in school? Relai dropped out after realizing how pointless it all was. They were having fun with their dorky bot fighting team? Relai was friends with cool adults who were creating meaningful art instead of riding the coattails of some capitalist jerk.
They were thriving in San Fransokyo while pretending their life in Radiant Garden never existed? Then Relai was going to carry those memories of where she came from, no matter how miserable they made her sometimes.
Relai hadn’t been thinking about her twin at all as she walked back home from Jos and Woo-Jin’s place late one night. The two college students tried to call her a R1de but she insisted that she could walk home herself (they could be such adults sometimes!) and beat up anyone who tried anything. In her frustration, Relai hadn’t noticed the figure following her until they cornered her in a dark alleyway.
“So, that’s where you’ve been sneaking off to.” Mariss had just gotten out of bot fighting practice by the look of things, as they were slightly out of breath from hauling the wheeled hard case carrying their drones behind them. “Did you seriously think that no one would notice that you haven’t been to school for months?” they asked snidely.
Relai was about to loudly feign astonishment that Mariss cared enough to notice but her twin cut her off. “What the heck is wrong with you? What would Mom and Dad think?”
“Don’t you dare bring Mom and Dad into this!” Relai shouted at them, stomping forward to stare Mariss down. “Why do you even care about me when you’re too busy hanging out with your new friends anyway? It’s my life and I can do what I want!”
When they were younger, Mariss would’ve backed off but they’d evidently grown enough of a spine to stand their ground against Relai when she wasn’t looking. “Why don’t you think about someone other than yourself for once! Don’t you realize what’ll happen once the school figures out you’ve stopped attending? They’ll start asking questions about Aunt Anima and Uncle Mundi, and if they do any serious background checks they’ll figure out that all of our identification paperwork is fake because we’re not from this world! Our aunt and uncle could’ve lost their their jobs if I hadn’t been covering for you!”
Relai started. Mariss had been covering for them this whole time? No, they’d only done it because it would’ve hurt their own reputation if people found out. She looked over at the case next to her twin, impassively wondering what would happen if she just grabbed Mariss’ precious drones and hurled them with all her strength into the dumpster beside her

“Argh!” Mariss screamed in frustration, fists clenched. “Why are you like this, Relai!? Sometimes I wish that—” They froze mid sentence, eyes widening and one hand clasped over their mouth.
“You wish what, Mariss?” Relai rounded on them, forcing them to take a step back. “What’s you wish, Mariss? Huh? Huh!? Because I—”
A loud explosion in the adjacent alleyway cut her off. Mariss and Relai stood there, looking at each other in shock and confusion, until Relai brushed past her twin to check out the source of the disturbance.
Relai’s first thought upon turning the corner to find a blond girl about her age in a black and gold dress fighting a figure of similar stature in a hooded black coat with a chainsaw shaped like a sword (Chainsword? Chainsword.) was, ‘Hey, she’s kinda cute.’ Her second thought was, ‘Wait, is that a keyblade?’
The white and gold weapon in the girl’s hands was undeniably key-shaped as she raised it up to block another swing from the chainsword wielder. However, the force of the blow sent her flying back into the brick wall behind her. She slumped down, dazed or possibly knocked out, as her attacker approached with chainsword raised.
“Hey, you!” The figure in black, hood pulled up so that Relai couldn’t see their face at all, turned their head just in time to catch a metal knuckle right below their chin (or at least where their chin ought to be). Relai was rushing towards them, preparing to kick the weapon out of their reach as they fell backwards, until the woman with the chain scythes attacked.
~ * ~ * ~
Out of nowhere, a holographic blue wall of hard light manifested in front of Relai, cutting her attacker off. Relai looked up to see two of Mariss’ drones projecting the barrier, with another blocking the chainsword wielder from the blond girl, who was rising unsteadily to her feet.
“Leave them alone!” Relai had never seen Mariss so angry, even when they’d been yelling at her moments ago. They were practically quivering with rage as they walked over to Relai, face set in a determined scowl as they locked eyes with the woman who’d hurt their twin.
Off to the side, the shorter figure in black raised their chainsword to test the barrier in front of them, then leapt back as the electrical pulse the drones sent through the field surged through them the second the weapon made contact with it.
At the same time, the grey-eyed woman took a step forward. “Thunder!” Mariss yelled hoarsely and she stopped in her tracks as the bolt of lightning impacted the ground in front of her. “I-if you don’t leave now, I
I won’t miss next time!” Mariss declared even as their voice shook.
The woman regarded Mariss impassively, but motioned to her companion before the two of them disappeared into the darkness.
As Mariss’ drones powered down and the forcefields lifted, a strange sadness swept over Relai. She’d always been the one who protected Mariss, not the other way around.
“What were you thinking, Relai!? You could’ve been killed!” Mariss was shaking like a leaf even as they yelled at Relai, furiously brushing away tears from their eyes. Still a crybaby, then, but a crybaby that didn’t need their twin anymore. If there were tears in Relai’s eyes, they were from the gash in her face that was only growing more painful as time went on.
“You both could’ve been killed,” snapped a new voice. Relai watched as the blond girl walked over, stopping right in front of Relai and pointing the tip of her keyblade at her cheek. “Esuna,” she said and Relai immediately felt the burning sensation in her face die out. “I’ve cured the poison but that woman’s blades have a corrosive effect that will leave a scar I can’t heal. So please leave those villains to me.”
“The proper thing to say is, “Thank you Mariss and Relai for saving me”!” Relai retorted as she stood up. Moving her hand from her face, she gazed at her reflection in the dark glass of a storefront window. True to her word, there was a lingering vertical scar that began just below her left eye and continued down to her neck. It wasn’t anything that Relai couldn’t hide without makeup, but maybe she didn’t want to.
The scar looked pretty badass, actually. And it was something that made sure her and Mariss would never be mistaken for each other ever again.

@khoc-week day 5 Unique.
There's a few things I can comment on but I'll just say that Kitty's way of fighting is pretty Unique.
I wanted to implement the feel of chain of memories where you use cards. Some are heartless cards some are spells, heals, ally cards. Kitty is a collector, if she's able to subdue a foe she can create a card copy. If she's able.to cast a spell same deal, this way even if her MP is low or out she still is able to have a trick up her sleeve.
Her keyblade is named Fortuna. It has the Wheel of Fortune embedded in the keyblade hilt. In battle it grants us user great luck, and bad luck for her enemies, it may nit always spin but when it does it certainly takes in Kitty's favor.

KHOC WEEK DAY 5 - UNIQUE - @khoc-week
Do you remember why you named me Saorise?
Decided I'm gonna focus on one of the three I started the week with for today and tomorrow since I could only do one yesterday aswell. So for today's prompt, I chose Saorise as a chance to develop her more and because she fits the prompt very well.
The name Saorise means Freedom. Invi named her this to give her agency and to show the pity she had for the firsts as a whole. Invi thought that the master of masters nearly went too far with this experiment - making living beings that only represent someone's negative emotions could surely lead them to ruin - so she named her first Saorise to give her agency and the motivation to be whoever she wanted to be, not just the negative emotions that bound them together.
Saorise, someone who is pure envy, hated the pity being shown to her. But, as she was being given freedom, she ran with it. She had to stay within the union, but she used her position to her advantage and became known as the 'Prince of Anguis'. Everyone wanted to partner up with her - everyone wanted to be her. What makes Saorise unique is her charm and powers of manipulation. She is unique because she is worshiped by her union.
All because she is envy. All because she wants others to love her, and she wants desperately to love others but due to being what she is - she can't bring herself to trust anyone. Not even the other firsts - at least not fully.
When confronted by Invi about her behavior, Saorise was able to easily turn the conversation in her favor.
"Well, why did you name me Saorise, then? Didn't you give me the freedom to choose who I wanted to be?" "I'm just trying to make your union strong, master! After all, you're so busy watching after the other foretellers, as is your role, so please - leave matters of the union to me. I'll make sure they are ready for the war." "Are you jealous, Master? That I have more love from your wielders than yourself? Good. It means I'm doing my job correctly. You forgot so quickly, didn't you? That I am your inner thoughts, I am your want to be loved by everyone, I am envy." "Oh yes, I am well aware I could be anyone else - I could choose not to fall into my sin, I could choose not to contribute to the union at all! But that's the thing about sin, isn't it? Do you think it would be called sin if it was so easy to break free from? If it was so easy to not choke on it, suffocate, and only be able to speak lies and pretty words that people want to hear and not the truth. The truth that I'm suffering every day. The truth that it's your fault that I can't trust others, that I can't be normal, that I exist at all in this sorry state! You dare name me freedom and yet fail to see the shackles which you put on me yourself!"
Saorise is probably the most unhinged of the firsts - probably because Invi is one of the most put-together. They are direct opposites of one another, and while Invi managed to tame Saorise, give her a name, and get her to stay within the union - it came at the cost of Saorise's waning sanity.

Kingdom Hearts OC Week 2024
Day 2: Past
Day two is here and I reserved this section to inform you of her past as much as I can while make it somewhat digestible. Hope you have fun having another glimpse of her life in Daybreak Town from before and after getting here!
Lux actually left her hometown long ago, her mother heard of this particular town run by kids refer to as a good place where they can thrive so being the best option she and her sibling had they accepted their mother's request for them to try and find their own footing there. Their mother gets letters from them both since they arrived to Daybreak Town.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Once on Daybreak Town she found that as long as she put in some work life there was quite sustainable if you got the hang of things. She worked for a long time in a part time job for the the post office and any other odd jobs. Living as a kid in Daybreak Town has benefits and it can be quite nice if you want a place to stay and make your own path, she wanted to earn a bit more to send to her mom if she could so she made her schedule a bit more busy at times back then..
When the power of the keyblade it came with the perks and change of work. The change was not as abrupt for her as one would think, she was kind of lucky she actually made a friend that was a keyblade wielder before she even became one and he show her the ropes and how to get the hang of it.
Tumblr media
Lux used to have other style by her second year been a wielder finding more of herself and even if the work is tough she has started to find the balance in her life and routine, the perks if you actually adapt to the life a keyblade wielder. She and Chiri had a matching set and found their way to deal with the work as time went by.
Tumblr media
She actually joined a party for quite a while! She had a nice time with them, how it ended is a bit fuzzy in her memories but she does think of them fondly.
Eventually the war approached, she can't remember that actually because of the plan we all know, keep the memories away to avoid the pain. She and her brother were Dandelions, but she was the last one to leave the town out of the two as she send him first and she would catch up with him on the other side. She was chasing for a clue of something she wanted to get at least some closure...
Tumblr media
She made friends here and there and make some connections before the war but more on that for tomorrow. I promise it will be fun!
After the Dandelions were transfer to the data and relieving their memories actually she took some turn, like adapt her gear since something in her did felt like she would want a better situation been sent to the desert that is why there is a contrast to her wardrobe on a mission and in her free time.
Tumblr media
She still does what she did back then but what are the changes once shit hits the fan? More on to that on Day 7 :D

Day Three of @khoc-week and it is about connections.
Day 3: Connections
This is going to be a special case. It is going to be a blip from Ciel's own view from the aftermath of a canon event he broke. It involves Strelitzia.
Tumblr media
I present you an excerpt from short story called Date Night at Twilight Town.
Content Warning: Contains mild language
The Twilight Town Bistro had been a hot spot for couples ever since it opened. While the only food was French cuisine from Remy's home world from Paris, France, he worked his tail off to gather the ingredients to create some of the tastiest dishes you can think of. Everyone in Twilight Town calls him 'Little Chef," but thanks to a spell by the Fairy Godmother, Strelitzia and I can understand him clearly, since he's a Norway Rat who tends to cook. You'd be surprised that a rat can make a damn good meal from what he does. Regardless on what I can say, I had to resist the urge to gush about this in my report so I can find a table for two. I haven't gone on a date with Strelitzia ever since the Datascape Apocalypse and I owed her a date night once we both got our crap together.
I waited for Strelitzia to show up at the table, reflecting on what I did to save her from that untimely end she would have faced if it wasn't for a chance encounter that the Book of Prophecies nor the Chronicler saw coming when I saved her from a fall in Daybreak Town centuries ago, despite it being two years for us. The memories were fond, ranging from the time she found me by chance during my trip to Wonderland (and subsequent speedrun to save Alice from an execution by the pettiest queen and tyrant I have ever seen, let alone had the pleasure of chewing out for some bullcrap despite risking the death penalty for pissing off the Queen of Hearts, not like I cared if it meant doing the right thing) to the ball in Castle of Dreams when we ensured Cinderella had the time of her life and even the Balamb Garden High School Homecoming Dance. Despite having dated before, we haven't gone on one in a while and she was the one who suggested it to me, hoping that it will cheer me up and give me a well needed break in my search for a means to save Celeste, who is probably off fighting for her life in Quadratum unless I use a portal to get there. For now, the rescue can wait as the Guardians of Light give Kairi some practice on the field and my achievements as the Rebel of Fate reap some good rewards.
Strelitzia arrived after me wearing a white dress that is familiar to me. I then realized it was similar to the dress she's worn during the Daybreak Town years, just more appropriate for someone entering her junior year in high school. She has her hair down rather in her usual twin tails style and she doesn't have the detached sleeves on. Her boots were replaced with heels similar to her footwear during the ball in the Castle. Fittingly, she seems to have known I would shave and straighten my messy hair up for the date night this time around, despite being a Miqo'te. We both sat down and ordered our food before discussing what we have done to get here.
